real world portland: meet anastasia miller

Well well well... It's time to meet another roommate now filming in Portland!

Say hello to Anastasia Miller:

  • Age unverified. Anywhere from 21-25, depending on which profile you look at.
  • From the Detroit area
  • Describes herself as: Very outgoing, extremely intelligent and talented! Is a people-friendly person looking to boost her career in entertaining. Has been singing entire life as well as some amaeture modeling.
I was waiting to post about her because of the lack of definite information, but I couldn't wait any longer! Hopefully her singing is better than 80% of other Real World singers. She's totally gorgeous, and her non-modeling pictures make her seem like a blast. There's also this picture from Portland:

Well, maybe she looks mostly a little scary there... but I enjoy someone who will dance on a table, bar, whatever with me.

When I get more info on her, I'll totally update ya! And if you have any, feel free to leave it below anonymously!

ALSO, rumor has it someone has already moved out, maybe even weeks ago. All that's really known is that someone new has shown up-

And here's another picture of them filming, from @bstasia.

Ahh, I'm loving following this season during filming, but I hate not being able to get ALL the deets on some of these people! It's like a blue ball tease.

As always, I'm gathering information from Twitter, Vevmo, and the awesome Real World Portland spy... in case you wanna keep up with ALL of it too!

pinspired outfits: sequins at work and white jeans

Dang. I made it halfway through my Pinspired Challenge with nothing but smooth sailing... then I kept forgetting to take pictures/get them up. Time to play a little catch up!

If you haven't noticed, a lot of them have been outfits that are a little out of my comfort zone. [AKA I normally wear pretty plain things- shorts or jeans and a tank top with flops.] This day I took a bit of a risk and broke out my sequin skirt that I love, but feel like I can only wear on New Year's Eve.

My skirt, like most of my clothes, is from Forever21 for $12. Chambray shirt [that is now way too big for me, which makes me sad] is from Target for $15, and the shoes are from Charming Charlies for $5! I forgot to take a picture of the back of them, but they have some ruffles/rhinestones on the back to add a little snazz!

Not only is it super fancy for me on an average workday, but it's also against my usual "summer= bright colors only" rule. The good news: It'll last me long into fall, and is great to wear out and to the office! ...Even though everyone gave me the "WTF are you wearing and why are you so fancy right now" face.

I wish my white jeans were stretchy/a little more comfortable, then maybe I'd wear them more. The truth is: I never think of outfits for them, nor do I try very hard to match a purse to my outfit. This isn't the most complicated outfit, but it includes my new favorite shirt of the year and is nothing but bright.

NO idea how much the original costs [stupid pinners doing it wrong], but my shirt is from Old Navy clearance for $18 [way more than I'd usually spend, but it's beyond comfortable, flattering, versatile, and my favorite color of right now], jeans from Wet Seal for $20, and purse from Kohl's clearance for $14. It also has a long strap to attach so that I don't lose it!

Yeah, I know.... I still need to find a better location to take these pictures... my backyard is much too ugly, and my hallway is lame with awful lighting. I don't know how these pro-bloggers do it!

And this marks 8 pinspired outfits! Two more, then I have an exciting idea for you! [And I'll need to find something to blog about... hmm...]

video interview: the day trey songz touched me

The week of celebs has come to an end, with yesterday's grand finale of Trey Songz coming to the studio.

First of all- HOTT damn. I've never seen a more beautiful man in real life before! He walked in and I had to turn away because I knew my face was bright red. Also- I was hoping he'd be short so that I'd be like "phew, he's totally not even that hott." ....He wasn't short.

He did an interview with Kendall and a video with Bobby, and recorded some "liners" for the station. [They're the things you hear of celebs being like "Hey it's ___, I'm awesome, elizabethany's awesome, and she's on HOT 100.5.]

Listen to the HOTTNESS of the one we recorded, that he demanded I record with him, unlike everyone else's...

As if I wasn't already suffering from wet pants, we took some pictures and then I got some alone time with him in the green room.

FYI: I TOTALLY only put my leg up a little before he hiked it up and got a handful of booty... not that I'm mad about it.

Just when I thought Sean Paul flirted with me like woah, this happened. Goodness. I can't even watch it. I blush and get all silly on the inside all over again.

On another note, who do I know that works at Kings Dominion and can hook me up with a closed-park date with this man? I have some ..business.. to finish.

PS: Here are some of my favorite screen shots... cuz ya know... it's fun to look at them.

PPS: I'll stop fangirling now sometime soon.

photo/video diary: east coast surfing championships with the station and breathe carolina

A lot of people told me "ECSC weekend" was gonna be cray, but I had no idea what to expect, besides an awesome free show from Breathe Carolina ON the beach.

Well, it was awesome. And I even got to share it with my besties from Texas, which made it even awesome-r.

For two days, the station broadcast live from the beach, less than a football field away from the ocean, and ON the main stage of the event. It was pretty sick. [I feel like I should use that term right about now... but I also felt like I should wear a trucker hat all weekend to fit the mood, so my judgment could be skewed.]

That hula hoop was CRAZY huge. I thought it'd be impossible to actually do it, but it was actually pretty easy! The catch: It hurts like [insert word my mom won't wanna read here]! I also challenged a bunch of beast [in the best way ever] gymnasts to a handstand contest. I didn't lose completely, but definitely didn't win.

We've had a bunch of opportunities to meet listeners in the past week, and it's been awesome. Like I said before, it's the best part about my job. Yeah, even cooler than meeting celebs [most of the time].

And since it was such a silly fun weekend in general, I thought I'd share some awesome ridiculous pictures.

Check out that rainbow that Corey is tooootally touching! And yes, I'm fully aware that handstands on lifeguard stands are probably not the best idea when done after 2am, but the silhouette picture someone got is incredible.

How is summer about to be over?! I can't accept this fact. I WON'T! ...Until I'm eating wings, drinking pitchers of beer, and loving football season, anyway.

beyond the real world st thomas cameras: not being whatever with marie

**Note about the title: She says "I'm not being whatever" a lot, and I feel like it's her thing, so duh. I went with it.**

As you wished, I have mah homegurl Marie back on tonight's podcast! She was definitely pretty involved with this week's episode between Robb's drama and the fights with Swift, so no wonder you picked her!

Obviously we touched on all of that [like who really told the girls Swift was "gay," and why a therapist was brought into the house to mediate some issues], but we also went into the "no talk zone" a little bit for hints on what the status is with her and Robb now, and a little about the upcoming Challenge: Battle of the Seasons!

We talked a little more about how Swift acts at work and how he says "not to bring home drama into work," but let's be real: We saw how little he did that on the show.

If you've missed any, I've done a different podcast every week this season, so listen here!

pinspired outfit: a fedora and saran wrap nails

Confession: I love hats. I love wearing them. I just don't love the "oohh, getting fancy with a hat today, huh?" comments every time I wear them. Get off me. I do what I want.

I'm also a big fan of my "summertime fedora," and when I saw this super chill outfit on Pinterest, I knew it was allll mine.
My hat is a little lighter than perfection, but I still love it. I got it from Forever 21 for $10, the tank is from Kohl's [~$8] and originally came with an awkward necklace attached to it. I cut that sucker off. My jeans are Almost Famous brand from TJ Maxx for $14, belt from Forever 21 for $8, and my shoes from Ross for $18.

Oh hey, Slutty Cat! Figured you might have missed seeing her cute butt.

For a work event, I toned down the outfit a little with our black logo'd tank and camel colored sandals.

I also tried a new nail technique that I thought I was going to be able to say "THIS IS BS AND IMPOSSIBLE!" Turns out the "Saran Wrap nail" is not only hella easy, but I can't stop looking at my nails.

$4 worth of nail polish, a couple pieces of Saran Wrap, and you're good to go!

  1. Do two coats of your first color.
  2. Let it dry completely.
  3. Do a pretty thick layer of another color, and immediately "stamp" with scrunched up Saran Wrap. [Do one nail at a time, and I liked it better when I only stamped once.]
  4. Cover with a top coat!
For someone who sucks at painting nails perfectly, this is a dream. You can accidentally bump into something during the drying process, and it's fine! You can get it all over your fingers and not worry about it, because you're going to have to clean it up after "stamping" anyway!

Yeah, I'm obsessed. It's also like the "crackle" effect, but WAY cheaper, and far more options!

So far, so good with this Pinterest challenge! I need to get more color, less black though.

watch: hundreds of people swoon over fake celebrity in nyc

A couple months ago, a dude from Virginia Beach pretended to be famous in a local mall and a ton of people fell for it. I thought that was amazing...

Then this dude did the same thing in NYC, and HUNDREDS of people fell for it.

He did everything right, that's for sure. Showin' the check, shades at night, ridiculously ugly but gigantic security guards...

And via Gawker:
While the assistants and photographers waited for Brett to exit the 49th street marquee at NBC Studios, they started a buzz that a "big star" was about to walk out, thus making it worth their while to wait and get a picture. Many asked the crew who Brett was, and no answer was given. They were forced to either make something up, or just take a picture with him in hopes that their Facebook friends or Twitter followers might have a better idea.
As the crew walked over to Times Square, the crowds around Brett grew on each consecutive block. Very few people even questioned who he was, where he was from, or what he does. Brett took pictures with nearly 300 people before the stunt ended.

Yep. This is another one of those "I'm so jealous of this person on YouTube" moments for me.

pics/video: an afternoon with big time rush in the studios

I shall call this "the week of teeny bopper artists." First Cody Simpson, then Big Time Rush... and I KNOW the high schoolers love some punk-pop, which Breathe Carolina will bring on Friday. I'm not mad about it. Once upon a time I was acting the same way with NSYNC.

Big Time Rush is a band from Nickelodeon, so obviously the kids LOVE them. [I can also confirm to you that in real life they're in their 20s, and certainly act like it. They're awesome!] We had a bunch of kids/parents come in for a little meet and greet performance that we UStreamed. As of now, over 19k tweets have been sent about the Ustream ALONE. It was a pretty huge day.

As you can see, I became BFF with three of them pretty quick. I think I made girls cry all over the world when Kendall [the one hugging me in the top and bottom pics] kissed me on the webcam. Carlos, with the glasses, was probably the most fun in a talkative and outgoing way. Plus- He had awesome glasses. And I can't tell who is the "hott" one in the group, but I'd hope it's Logan, the one in the black hoodie/hat. He's a hot-tottie.

Here's video that my coworkers shot/edited:

[There's also more video to watch on our Ustream channel!]

If only I didn't have a show to do, I coulda gone and hung out with them post-concert... Stupid radio show.. Nickelodeon-blocking me.

On a real note: It's awesome to see how excited listeners and people all over the world were getting as we made it possible for them to watch this. The single best thing about my job is being able to connect with people, and nothing is better than doing it in person or on a level like this.

pinspired outfit: mint jeans and a fishtail

I've been searching for a good pair of mint jeans for almost a year at this point, but I could never find any in my price range [$20 or under] that fit really well. Somehow my luck turned around in Target the other day.

As usual for Target, I went in for something completely different than what I walked out with. Went in for a bathing suit on clearance, walked out with the last pair of mint jeans for $12. [AND, they're a size 4, which I normally have no business even trying to fit into. I guess the "curvy fit" really does help! They're perfect.]

I have SO MANY outfits planned for these babies, but this is the easiest for everyone to recreate, minus the awesome clutch she has:

**Don't mind the orange tint of my skin. I felt like the "minty" color wasn't showing enough so I upped the saturation. Shoot me.**

I have no idea how much the original outfit costs, but mine- Jeans were obviously $12, off the shoulder tee from Papaya for about $8, shoes from Rack Room shoes, I got two pairs [yay BOGO!] for $27, and my new fave clutch came from my BFF, which I assume she got from Target. I also have black rose earrings on that I got six pairs of them in different colors for $3 at Body Central.

The original outfit didn't have it, but since that necklace matched the clutch perfectly, I threw it on. It's actually a piece from an old, tacky "club shirt" I've had since high school. I cut it off and threw the shirt away! I love it, but unfortunately I left it in this here parking lot and now it's gone. Hmph.

We had Big Time Rush in the studio today, and I was rushing out of the house, so I did the fishtail braid while preparing the UStream. Multitasking for the win!

People at work were dumbfounded that I came in dressed, wearing heels today. It's been a while since they've seen such a sight.

They also asked a lot of questions about the "bug bites/sun spots/scars" all over my face. I'm just going to throw this out there, like I have before while attacking Kim Kardashian- I have psoriasis [dry, scaly skin.. a hereditary skin disease]. Normally it's only been on my legs, arms, and head, but now it's spread to my face and it's terrifying me. It's on my eyelids, under-eye, forehead, nose and chin. So basically- everywhere. Luckily, they haven't started peeling/scabbing too bad yet, but KNOCK ON FREAKING WOOD. I've tried so many things to get it to go away, and normally sun is the best option. Not this year, apparently. It looks like the final option is a shot... WHICH I HATE, but I'm going to need to grow some balls and try.

Clearly I'm going to need to figure out how to wear face make-up, which I've never really worn my entire life. Dumb.

On a lighter note- could the sun have been any more in my eyes for these pictures?! Yikes. Not my most photogenic day, but whatever. If I'm going to post something like this, a couple squinty eyes aren't going to hold me back right now.

real world portland cast update: meet jordan wiseley and johnny reilly

Lookie here! We've got our first two GUYS identified in the Portland house! And BOTH of them have videos showing us exactly who they are. Hello CONVENIENCE, it's nice to meet you!

And nice to meet you, Jordan Wiseley!

  • 22
  • From Mustang, OK
  • Oklahoma State University, Business major
  • Wakeboarder
  • Missing at least four fingers on his left hand:
He seems like a pretty awesome guy, and he looks nice, too! Plays all sorts of sports, likes country AND rap music, and is basically my future husband. Or.. something.

And there's Johnny Reilly.

  • 21
  • From West Bridgewater [AKA Boston], MA
  • Wrestled in high school, now is a chef
His audition tape isn't the most exciting thing in the world, but remember what I and all the roommates have always told us in podcasts: It's not about being obnoxious or having "the craziest, most dramatic, party life in the world." It's about being able to tell a story [and probably have something hidden in your past]. All Boston guys are good for the show, let's be honest.

That's all for now! No big stories besides being out at the bars and mingling with people from their balcony. Sounds so... familiar.

watch: trailer for new mtv challenge- battle of the seasons

Ohhh snap! They're rolling these seasons out quick! As soon as Real World St Thomas is done, the new Challenge: Battle of the Seasons is up, and four of our St Thomas'ans are in there!

So are four of our favorite peeps from San Diego, including Sam! And I'm very pumped to see Jemmye back in action, along with those crazies from NOLa.

I've heard things from a couple people who were out there, and the hook-ups/fights sound random/unexpected and totally intense. I'm definitely excited for this season.

And YES! You're seeing the original AND the new Las Vegas in there, but they'll be teaming up together!

Full cast is listed over on US Magazine, if you're interested, which I'm sure you are.

Get ready! This is going to be a fun season of rooting for our favorites from a LOT of seasons! [Except RWDC.. LAME!]

watch etv: exclusive interview with cody simpson

Some of you may not know who Cody Simpson is, but a LOT of you love the 15 year old Aussie-singer.

15 years old. Yeah.

This town went absolutely NUTS trying to get skip the line passes for his meet and greet at KMart yesterday, and some people were even lining up at 6am for the 3pm event! Cray.

Since they obviously know more about him than I do, I picked some of the biggest fans out of the crowd and recorded questions for Cody. I showed them to him backstage, then recorded his answers. It was fun! I really like getting the fans/listeners involved.

Look at that LOOK he can give! *He's 15, EB... 15...* HIS ACCENT!!! *15!!!!!*

And seriously... chicken and diapers?!? That's one of my top 3 speechless/memorable moments in interviews. What do you say back to that?!?!

Today we have Big Time Rush in the studio, AKA a ton more screaming teen girls. I'm not mad about it. It's good people watching totally fun.

love,
elizabethany

PS: This also happened.
And now thousands of people are retweeting it, hundreds of people saying they're going to name their kid with Cody "elizabethany," andddd I think I feel pretty neat right now.

pinspired outfits: mixing brown and black, and a rainy day

Three days into my challenge, and I'm already all mixed up. Rather than doing the weekend's outfits [Friday-Sunday] today, I only have Saturday and today's thanks to getting mildly mugged Saturday night. [No worries, I'm totally okay, and kicked the dude in the face. AKA I feel like a muh-fuh badass right about now.]

I'll get Friday's outfit up tomorrow, in the meantime, let's get all outta order, shall we?

I've always been one of those people that thinks everything needs to be matchy-matchy, and black and brown can NOT go together. Pinterest [and Lauren Conrad] proved me wrong.

I have a black tank from Ross [$4], purple skirt from Forever 21 [$8], shoes from Ross [$18], purse from the $10 airport store [that is actually falling apart, so I should probably invest in a better one ASAP... I guess sometimes cheap isn't always good.], leopard print earrings from Forever 21 [$3] and a belt that came free on a dress I got a couple years ago.

If only those heels weren't wedges... I woulda done some serious damage on the dude's face. Hmph.

Today was rainy, and I thought we were going to be outside with hundreds of Cody Simpson fans, so I went pretty simple and with rain boots. Turns out we were inside the whole time, but oh well!

I got my sweet lace-up boots from Old Navy before Mardi Gras for much more than I wanted to spend, but I do love them! [$30] My umbrella is also from Old Navy for $5 or less. My favorite pair of jorts are from Kohl's and actually came with the "scarf" as a belt [clearance- $7]. Finally, the shirt is from Aeropostale [$5].

Sock bun for the WIN on a rainy day that I only had 30 minutes to get ready for! I also love how it shows my hair color contrast again, which I didn't realize until now!
I will admit that ever since I was in high school I've had a philosophy: "If I can't see it, who cares what it looks like?" AKA I never pay attention to the back of my hair or clothes... hence why I had no problem just tying the "scarf" behind my neck and pretending like it was an infinity scarf. Maybe I should wear my hair down next time I do that.

This challenge is super fun, and if anyone wants to join me in it or do it too, let me know! Send me your Pinspired outfits so I can see! Show and tell time!

Also, if you have any pointers on how to pose without looking like an awkward freak, I'd appreciate knowing them.

elizabethany

real world portland: meet jessica mccain

I'm still so giddy about Real World: Portland and all the stalking going on! It's a beautiful thing, and so is knowing that one of the roommates already got arrested! Bravo!

And people are, of course, complaining about them being rowdy:
Careful with them. In the two bars I was at and they showed up, they started two fist-fights, and one got arrested for the night. They're kind of a rowdy group. I don't know how much trouble they can get in during a Yoga class, but...I wouldn't put it past them, either.
Wah, wah... get over it! :)

Now, let's meet Miss Jessica McCain:

  • Classy [insert my new "teehee" face that I wish I could put into words here]
  • 21
  • from Fayetteville, NC
  • Ballroom dance instructor and model
  • Sorority sister- Zeta Tau Alpha
  • Apparently wanted to be an Army nurse, and was in ROTC
If I were to read that bio and have to match it to someone's pictures, I'd never be able to get it right. I feel like I'm having an identity crisis just trying to comprehend all of this! [Not saying she is! Don't get it twisted!] I really don't even know what kind of first impression I can/should have about her besides "lady in the streets and a freak in the bed" maybe.

Your thoughts?

pinspired outfit week: grey jeans and lace

I've had this pair of grey jeans for a couple years now, but I'd be surprised if I've worn them even 5 times. I never know what to do with them besides the whole black/grey/white combination!

Hey, thanks Pinterest! Now I know it's super easy to brighten these suckers up and even wear them in the summertime!

This pinspiration was from Anthropologie, and even though the exact pants aren't available anymore, similar ones are $198. No thank you. I did it all for under $50.

The jeans are old, but I remember finding them in Forever 21 clearance for about $12, I recently got the shirt from there for $13, and the shoes are Nine West from Ross for $20.

I'm kinda in love with bringing back the old-school topsy-tail, but I put it through and secure almost behind my ear. Also love that my dark red under-hair shows a neat little contrast.

Today I learned that A) I need someone to take these pictures of me, preferably outside. and B) I need to take pictures of the back, even if I feel awkward/as if I'm trying to show my ass. [I hate girls who are constantly like OMG LOOK AT HOW GOOD MY ASS LOOKS IN THIS MIRROR SHOT. Get outta here with that, ya cocky B.]

I instagrammed [follow me!--> luvelizabethany] a peek at today's outfit, but it'll be posted tomorrow or Monday! Totally rockin' the fedora and loving it.

beyond the real world cameras: blue and blacked out with robb

I told you I wanted you to pick who I talked to after this week's episode, you did, and now I'm delivering the goods to you!

It was only right [/necessary] that I talk to Robb. Why in the hayll did he do that to his face?! and HOW?! and is he doing it anymore?!

I asked him all of that, and some about how Marie really treated him and the split personalities we're starting to see in Laura. Clearly there could have been some little ginger babies running around the house if there was just one thing missing from the way this cast was set up. You'll hear all about it....

When he said it shouldn't be laughed about, I totally felt like an a-hole for doing it so many times... He's right- it is a serious matter... I guess I'm just so shocked that it all happened that my awkward self thinks it's funny. Plus- if he really has gotten it under control, we might as well laugh about the past, right?

We'll vote again for next episode on Wednesday! In the meantime, catch up on all the others if you need to or let me know what your thoughts on everything are!

watch: 98 degrees reunites on the today show

OMGGGG THE DAY HAS COME! 98 Degrees reunited on The Today Show and it was even better than I imagined/hoped it would be!

They look just as hott [I really don't know that they aged much at all], sing almost just as well, and are still rockin' the same old moves.

OH!! And, Nick Lachey announced they'll probably be going on tour AND working in the studio on a new album! Hott damn, life is good right about now.

Here's everything you need to see:

Watch for the tongue woman at 1:50 in that one.

Goodness. I was seriously smiling the entire time. THEY looked like they were having so much fun, and I have missed Nick Lachey's voice WAY too much. [I totally still remember every word of every song of his SOLO albums!]

Fans of the "new school" boy bands... THIS is a real boy band. Silly choreography, matching outfits, one ugly duckling among extreme hotties. Yummalicious.

Welcome back, men!

pinspired outfit week: pink jeans and stripes

After my Olympics-themed outfits challenge, I decided I wanna start giving myself more challenges. It makes it so I actually put myself together on a daily basis, plus it's fun!

So for the next 10 days, I'm doing nothing but Pinterest-inspired [pinspired! neat!] outfits. I've pinned so many to my board, but rarely get dressed/use the inspiration. Not anymore, folks! [Yeah, I just called you a folk.. get over it.]

Day #1: Pink jeans and stripes... and some b-e-a-utiful pinspirations, too!
[Original pins on the left, of course!]

The colors are a little different, but so is the price! The original outfit was $297. I spent $5 on the tank and $13 on the jeans from Forever 21, and $8 on the sandals from GoJane. Add in the earrings for $2 compared to their necklace for over $9000, and I'd say I got a deal!

Double eyeliner! I used blue stila eyeliner that I got from Birchbox, and LA Splash liquid liner in "Dead Sea" for $6. If it wasn't summer and I wasn't lazy, I probably would have used some eye shadow, too.

I didn't do different colors, but I did try the colored tips using tape. I never pretend to be great at this stuff, so don't expect those nails to look perfect. Especially considering I don't have the patience to do these fun nail polish tricks that I love. It IS pretty easy to do without perfection and with a little patience for layers to dry, though!

I know, I know... I need to take better pictures. Silly me forgot to charge my camera before heading to the station, so I had no choice but to take awkward pictures of myself in the bathroom.

BUT... super simple outfit, super cheap, and I'll totally wear this combo again.

lots of show podcasts: road rage, embarrassing significant others, trying too hard, and more

I've been totally slacking on the podcasting show bits lately, which is stupid... because people have been calling in with AWESOME stories! [I've been offering prizes for the best one, which just happens to get people to be more willing to share....]

Here are some topics from the past couple weeks. I'll get the rest up here within the next couple days! Don't forget, you can always listen to my podcasts AND my show LIVE on my iPhone app!

I may or may not have stumbled into my guy's roommate's bed thinking it was my guy's one night.... I knew I wouldn't be alone in that.

Let's be real... everyone does it! But some of these guys are harshh.

Just when I thought girls put in all the effort to impress someone, I was proven WAY wrong. C'mon, karate kid!

I'll be honest... I thought I'd get people admitting doing this because they wanted free drinks or something. I was pretty surprised.

My coach's story of pulling down his pants to expose his junk to awful drivers is definitely the best, but why is one girl hitting her own car?!?

Don't forget, my show is from 6-11pm ET Monday-Friday.. and if you ever wanna call in to say hello or answer a question, PLEASE do! Save 757-473-1005 in your phone now! ;) [And YES! I love me some drunk dials, so do it!]

poll: who should i talk to after real world st thomas episode 8?

As I said after talking to Laura last week, I've now talked to them all, and I want YOU to pick which roommate I talk to each week!

Of course, there's no guarantee the first choice will get talked to since I can't coordinate with them earlier in the week like I normally do, but I will absolutely try! Just in case, pick your top two!

ALSO, since we're halfway through the season, let's answer these polls to see how you're feeling about everyone since I'm not doing them in chatrooms! There are only 6 questions, so it's quick! [Scroll to the right and you'll see the start button!]

Tonight's episode looks CRAY with Robb! Interested to see how this all goes down!

who wants a free breathe carolina show?

VERY excited to share a secret the station has been keeping for a couple months now!

In two weekends, the East Coast Surfing Championships are taking over Virginia Beach, and from what I hear, it's a CRAZY weekend. We're making it a bit crazier.....

We're literally setting up a stage on the beach, Corey is going to mix/DJ live for a while, I'm going to broadcast my show live from out there, and the guys are going to go on around 8:30 between 4th and 5th street the Oceanfront! How neat is that?!?

When we did this video, it was backstage at Warped Tour [which is a whole different story], and the guys were TOTALLY cool. I think you can tell in the video, but they seem really excited and also amazed by what's going to go down.

I'm pumped!! And if you're in the area, you should totally come through, duh!

i spy: me being stoopid this weekend

I've been trying to come up with more I Spy posts lately, and it seems as though when I'm drunk, I think everything is worthy of a post.

After going through my pictures from this weekend and remembering the things I said to people, I've finally come to the realization that I am absolutely ridiculous. Here are some of the happenings:

I was extremely fascinated by this guy's outfit. I couldn't believe he was seriously wearing it in public. The fedora, the blue and white striped linen pants, and that pink polo was even popped at one point. After a couple failed attempts at taking a sneaky picture, I walked by him said "HEY, SMILE, YOU'RE ON EB's CAMERA!" ...and quickly ran away. He tried asking questions, but he got no further information besides "INTERNET!"

Drunk goggles were in effect here. I SWORE this dude looked just like RGIII from the back, so I walked up to him, said a couple sweet-nothings, then asked for a picture. He had no idea I was making the damn-it's-not-RGIII face on the right, and when I told him to turn around for the second picture, I made him not ask any questions. I then skipped away and avoided him for the rest of the night. Why do people trust me?!

Now THIS was funny. The station is at Luckie's in Hampton on Saturday nights, and they had this and many other signs throughout the place. I needed to entertain myself, so I tried to find the most awkward couples and conveniently placed the sign above them. I said zero words, did everything I could not to make eye contact, and damn near got kicked out of the bar. [I hate using the "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM" line, but it had to be done to save my ass from security this time.]

So, basically, I'm pretty sure I'm a huge dbag these days, but I do crack myself up. [Which I guess makes me a bigger one....] It's just SO FUN to mess with people and leave them wondering "WTF just happened to me?!"

Oh... you got EB'd. Sorryboutchya.
