beyond the real world cameras: not just sex with jessica

Finally, I had Jess on the show! Ever since people went bonkers on my first post about her, I've wanted to get her on so she had a chance to say what she wanted about it all. I've also been intrigued by her simply because of the innocence she has on the show.

I wanted to dig in and see if she really is afraid of sex stores... if she has a kinky side we don't know about...
I also asked her opinion of Nia [who she described as her "Fairy Godmother"], and why she kept saying the fight with Anastasia and her boyfriend was "so scary."

Of course I also asked the all important question of what we haven't seen. Turns out we're missing a whole side of Jess.



Like Marlon said last week, it's kinda shocking when I talk to someone like this because my friends and I are always so open about our sexuality and adventures. When someone's a little more old school about it, I'm literally a little speechless. Maybe they'll save the integrity of America... if that's what we even want.

beyond the real world portland cameras: answers with averey

FINALLY I got a podcast set up to get a closer look at this new-ish season of Real World!

You all voted for her to be the first one, and I [eventually] made it happen!

Of course I had to ask her about the details of her and Johnny getting together, but I also really wanted to know more about her roommates. Is there any realness to Nia? Is anyone's sexuality questioned throughout the season? What is Jess like in person?

SHOCKING!: She says Jordan isn't as big of a douche as he's portrayed. I find that hard to believe, but I'll try and take her word for it for now.

I always liked Averey, but after talking to her.. she's one of the most real, and dare I say normal roommates I've ever talked to. She doesn't ever seem to be exaggerating something for a camera or an interview, she's just being her. And "her" is cool.



Next week/time I wanna get even deeper into some of these crazy people, so comment or tweet me with questions/comments. I have a feeling we're gonna need to know a lot more than what's being shown pretty soon.

it's back! watch the real world: portland trailer and meet the cast!

It feels like it's been forever since it's been Real World season! I've felt so out of place... but! It's time to get back in action!

Real World: Portland premieres March 27! [Ugh, still a whole 'nother month!]

Judging from the bios on the site, we have another group of people that have very troubling pasts and family issues that are obviously going to be brought to life in the show. We also have a very tall set of girls, if that intrigues you. If it doesn't, you should know that it's the girls that are clearly going to be causing the trouble this season.

The trailer officially debuts tonight during Catfish, but that's too far away.

There's a solid amount of hitting in there... and a solid amount of serious issues being brought up. That's everything a Real World fan wants in a season, right?! Oh, and a relationship, duh. Only question is: Where's the gay?!

I've chatted with some of the roommates randomly, so I think it's fair to say I'll be getting some podcasts up early in the season. I'm hoping Marlon and I become BFF.

Also, I'm still having a bit of an identity crisis with Jessica. Everything I've read about her on MTV's website, and after talking to her, she seems like a genuinely nice person. Still, people are feeling the need to blast her in every way on my website. If all of this hate is because of a couple mistakes she may have made in her past, I'm going to lose my mind. MOVE ON!

Now I must ask you: What do you think of the first sneak peek?! Excited? I GOTTA KNOW!

real world portland: pics of the cast partying

A video rocked the world of Real World stalkers earlier this week. It was supposedly a fight between Jessica, Nia [Moore], and Johnny... The weird parts: There were no cameras around, it was hard to see anything, and it was deleted a couple days later. I don't know if it was a fake, a ploy to get some publicity for this season that most people are expecting to be hella boring, or a legit leaked video that BMP had removed.

Now that we've addressed that, let's move onto some photos that won't be taken down.

Jordan and I think that's Averey. 

The much-hated [in the comments section of my blog] Jessica.. His caption with the bottom one is "Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another, 'What! You too? I thought I was the only one."

These are all taken from Ryan Downs' [the guy who's in all of them] Facebook. He also regularly hangs out with Tony Pieper from The Bachelorette, too. [Based on pictures, I really wonder if he shoulda been on Bachelorette, and not the Bachelor.....]

I don't know what his connection with the roommates is beyond being a guy who's known by everyone in town. Someone suggested that he has a relationship with one of them, but I can't see that in the pictures. 

Jessica certainly looks like a normal, fun, girl that I'd probably try to be friends with in these pictures. I am beyond interested to see how she is. After reading the 80+ comments on her post [90% of which are REALLY bad], I have no idea what to think! Ryan seems to like her, though!

Rumor has it they've also finished production and sent the cast home. That'd be about the right timing, but it's lame for them to miss out on Halloween! Womp.

real world portland: meet jessica mccain

I'm still so giddy about Real World: Portland and all the stalking going on! It's a beautiful thing, and so is knowing that one of the roommates already got arrested! Bravo!

And people are, of course, complaining about them being rowdy:

Careful with them. In the two bars I was at and they showed up, they started two fist-fights, and one got arrested for the night. They're kind of a rowdy group. I don't know how much trouble they can get in during a Yoga class, but...I wouldn't put it past them, either.

Wah, wah... get over it! :)

Now, let's meet Miss Jessica McCain:

[Not saying she is! Don't get it twisted!] I really don't even know what kind of first impression I can/should have about her besides "lady in the streets and a freak in the bed" maybe.
