beyond the real world st thomas cameras: not being whatever with marie

**Note about the title: She says "I'm not being whatever" a lot, and I feel like it's her thing, so duh. I went with it.**

As you wished, I have mah homegurl Marie back on tonight's podcast! She was definitely pretty involved with this week's episode between Robb's drama and the fights with Swift, so no wonder you picked her!

Obviously we touched on all of that [like who really told the girls Swift was "gay," and why a therapist was brought into the house to mediate some issues], but we also went into the "no talk zone" a little bit for hints on what the status is with her and Robb now, and a little about the upcoming Challenge: Battle of the Seasons!

We talked a little more about how Swift acts at work and how he says "not to bring home drama into work," but let's be real: We saw how little he did that on the show.

If you've missed any, I've done a different podcast every week this season, so listen here!

beyond the real world st thomas cameras: talking #drunkgirlproblems with marie

I knew I was going to like Marie before the season even started, and in three episodes she's been hilarious to watch, and fun to tweet with... so OBVIOUSLY I had to get her on ASAP!

Within seconds she proclaimed herself a trainwreck, so we have that in common, and we were a giggling mess for the next 20 minutes. [Don't worry, I edited all the annoying giggles out. You're welcome.]

We talked about her thinking someone was pranking her when she first showed up at the house and the fact that it should be "7 bitches picked to live in a house," not strangers. She also let out her feelings about Trey/Laura, why LaToya should have been voted the funniest over her in our chat [apparently the cameramen couldn't even keep their composure!], and why we'll be seeing a lot more Swift soon.

And, of course, we addressed the "scumbag couple of the year," as she nominated her and Robb.

She's fun, this is fun, you'll have fun listening.

Alright "Elizabethanation" [I haven't used that in a while! Lame!], you officially have a mission- Give Marie's drunk language a name! Tweet her and I and we'll pick our favorite! I also wanna see a slew of #drunkgirlproblems from you all this weekend, kthanks.

Let me know who you want to hear from next! And as you can hear, I totally ask your questions, so keep those coming! Thanks for listening and participating!

let's do it: the real world st thomas premiere!

I've told you how it's going to go down, now it's time to make it happen! Wednesday night, 10pm EST, meet me right here to chat about the debut of 7 new strangers living on their own freaking island.

Since I was sent the first couple episodes to pre-screen, here are my initial thoughts on what we can really expect:

The roommates:

Marie and LaToya had me cracking up the entire first episode. They had HUGE personalities and so far, are very likable.
Marie is a bit of a bitch, but in the "Imma tell you how it is and we're gonna laugh about it" way. Basically, just how I like my friends. She had no idea what to expect when meeting her first roommate- "He might be black, white, orange, who knows." Then she met ginger Robb... "All orange."
LaToya had me cracking up when she was getting off the plane and referred to herself as Michelle Obama. I can't type it to make it funny, so just be on the lookout for that moment.
Laura is totally cute, but already the center of an intense love triangle.

So far, all the guys are also really likable. I was worried about Trey after the stuff I found while filming, but as of now, he's an effing hottie. And Swift- hello sir, can I have you?

The drama and the storylines:

They certainly didn't hesitate with jumping right into some serious cases of drama, as well as roommate relationships. There's also already a severe outcast. Just wait until you hear the music they play when the poor roomie is left alone.
If episode 1 is setting up the rest of the season, it's safe to say we're going to have everything a good Real World season needs: love/triangles, stupid fights, crazy girls, and more serious drama. I just hope they didn't jump into it all too soon, to be honest.

I can't wait to see what you think about all of them and what's to come! Don't forget to set a reminder to join me here [and tell your friends so you can win some swag]!

real world st. thomas: robb and marie revealed as cast members!

Tada! Molds13 over at Vevmo hit the jackpot today and let me know that they found info on two of the roommates filming Real World 27 in St. Thomas right now!

First of all, meet Robb Schreiber, not to be confused with Rob Schneider [or so I hope].
  • 21
  • from Bensalem, PA
  • Went to Kutztown University until 2011 and majored in electronic media
  • Played basketball
  • Described himself as this: "I'm me, originally one of a kind; I love life and always maintain a smile on my face and a positive attitude. Essentially I'm the ****.. up in this *****. Get to know meeeeeeeee."
  • And yes, he is in fact a ginger.

A lot of people hating on him based on facts [being from PA, gingerness], but I mostly think he seems normal so far. We shall see if more pics are found. [We did find a couple of him before, remember? He's the Dustin lookalike.]

Anddd meet the hott wild child, Marie Roda.

She posted that tweet when she left, obviously, and judging by what I can see, she looks like my kinda girl! [And every guy's kinda girl..] I'm excited to see if she's the fun wild or the reckless one.

That's all the news for now! I've been RT'ing things that people tweet from the island, so look out for those if you wanna know what's up!
