All last summer I kept asking all of my followers if they wanted to try the trapeze class that's in the middle of DC... No one ever seemed to think I was serious.

I was. 100%. And I finally found someone to go with me while I was home for the weekend- My big sister.

In just two hours, they expected me to be able to hang upside down and and be caught by a guy 6 inches shorter than me..... What?!

poll: would you like a bacon martini?

It's still very hard for me to comprehend this bacon fascination that has been going on for far too long.

Now restaurants EVERYWHERE are starting to offer bacon martinis, and they're being ordered table after table after table.

There's also a million different kinds of bacon cocktails! [Okay, not millions... but dozens, for sure!]


Here are the recipes for those of you who are intrigued:

Bacon Martini

• 1/3 oz Vermouth
• 3 oz Bacon infused Vodka

The Mexican Bacontini

• 1/4 tsp Original Bacon Salt
• 4 oz Hornitos Anejo tequila
• 4 oz orange juice, fresh squeezed if possible
• 1 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
• 1 oz sweet and sour or Limeade

The Bacon Chocolatini

• 2 oz vodka infused with candied bacon
• 2 oz Godiva Chocolate Liquor
• Splash of cream

None of that sounds any sort of appetizing to me, but I gotta know something:

I forget where I've heard this song. There must have been a movie or I included it on my Tunes on Tuesday or something. Anyway, it's Tim Halperin's "She Runs."

That's not really what matters.

His music video is a one-take video with changing scenes and everything! It's... amazing. I like the direction music videos are going with their creativity.

watch: saw 3d trailer

OMG. On multiple accounts.

There is going to be ANOTHER installment of Saw.... And it's going to be in 3D.

There comes a time when movie series need to stop being made, and I still think that 3D is getting to be a bit much already, but I think this movie is going to be one big, long "holy s#!*."

Watch the trailer. It obviously doesn't have the effects, but even without the trailer, I'm sure you can imagine how crazy this is going to be.



Normally I can handle the Saw movies which I'm pretty proud of... But this one.... I think it's safe to say you can count me out.

Lindsay may have headed to jail today, but she's not completely disappearing. She's the next cover girl of GQ!

Alright, so it's the German GQ, but she's still on the cover and she looks HOTT. Talk about going to jail on a high note!

My favorite quote in the article is this one about how the game has changed since she first started:

If you didn't know, July 31st is National Dance Day!! Exciting, right?! What's more exciting: The peeps from So You Think You Can Dance are trying to get flash mobs ACROSS THE NATION!

You know these are my favorite things ever. You know I've been trying to be a part of one for SO long.

Now's the chance to make it happen.

DC Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes-Norton already approved the idea to do it at Malcolm X Meridian Park with special guest Nigel Lythgoe! DC kids- BE THERE. Tape it. Send it to me. I credit you. We all smile.

Ya know the new "craze" within teens-Silly Bandz? They're the pack of rubber band bracelets found on the counter at 7-11 or other convenience stores and they're shaped like anything and everything under the sun.

A couple months ago we saw the casting call: They wanted Asian-Americans who acted like the kids from Jersey Shore.

Now we have the official cast, their pics, and some info about them! ...And they're nothing like the ones I imagined.

They're literally squinty eyed Jersey Shore kids. [Is that wrong of me to say? Oh well.]

The show has its own Twitter, but is not picked up by any network yet!!! What the heck!!? It's produced by Tyrese, but apparently no one is interested. Take a look at some pictures from taping:

You all know how much I love the idea of having a wild animal as a pet. [Hush if you're going to tell me how cruel it is. It's the idea that's freakin' awesome!]

listen: 8 questions and more with fefe dobson

Challenge 5 [woah... Can't believe we're at the end already!] for MTV TJ was to interview a celebrity of their choosing and report on the interview.

I got FeFe Dobson!

You may remember her from back in 2003 or so with songs like "Take Me Away" and "Bye Bye Boyfriend," but she's back now and seemingly stronger than ever!

I'm totally diggin' her latest song "Ghost!" It's all about getting back at your boyfriend after he cheats on you. Think "Before He Cheats," but a bit less Country and a little more Rock N Pop.

She looks hott, her sound is definitely worth some time on the radio, and as much as you want to say it: Don't compare her to Rihanna. She's a girl of her own breed.

I'm really excited about her return! Though she's been doing her fair share of writing and recording, I think she could be releasing some serious hits again in the next couple months.

All that being said, I decided to stick with my usual style of interviewing people. Ask a couple of the music-related questions, then hit the "8 Easy Questions with Elizabethany" segment to get to know more about who Fefe is and what she likes.



She seems cool and definitely seems to be working hard/non-stop! 10 minutes went by so quickly! I had so much more I wanted to ask, but a busy girl's gotta get on her way!

Let's hope I'll be interviewing her again in New York someday... in person! ;)

nifty: the instant dishwasher

This is the best legit invention I've seen all year.

I always give you fun, silly, random things that are absolutely amazing, but this is something that should definitely be in every one bedroom apartment in America.

It's the Instant Dishwasher by Bosch.

It super tiny, sits right on your counter by your sink, and washes a few dishes instantly. All ya do is lower a couple plates, a cup, and utensils into the little slot and let the magic take over.

It runs under your counter and basically looks like a bigger Wii console placed in your counter-top. As far as I can tell, there's not a whole lot of maintenance you'd need to do.

Seriously, how great would this be in a one bedroom apartment?! Even for two people! It would take care of any "Ughhh I'll do it later" statements. It's a piece of cake!

No idea how much it'll cost, but you can bet your bottom dollar it'll be worth every penny.

watch: the flawless escape show

I had every intention of getting this up 24 hours ago, but in case you forgot- All of my pieces of technology pretty much hate me.

Better late than never, yeah?

The show was absolutely INCREDIBLE last night. Over 150 people showed up, and that doesn't include the people we had to turn away because we were over capacity. DJ Get Low AND Flawless Escape put on an amazing show, and the BCS came out to support.

I could not have been a happier girl.

It's not the best video I've ever put together, but it'll do. You can see how awesome it was, and you can always watch the whole show on my Ustream.

mtv tj challenge 4! how to help!

I'm still on a bit of a high from last night's success with the Real World New Orleans chat and the Flawless Escape show, but it's time to focus on the next challenge: Getting celebs to follow me, retweet me, and support #EB4MTVTJ.

Before I tell you how you can help, I want to pick a couple people to really focus on and harass for the next few days... That way we're not all over the place. These are my faves on Twitter or people I have a connection with.... And how I think I can reel them in.

1. @KrisAllen. We both have that fantastic crooked mouth thing going on! I also LOVE American Idol [duh] and love him! We shall send my Twitpic to him as much as possible and remind him of the beauty we would create if we were lovers friends.
2. @iJustine. She was one of the people who inspired me to create this blog and my videos, she knows my online Florida BF and she's the Mac version of me, or I'm the PC version of her... whichever you look at it. [eBethany/iJustine]
3. @LaVarArrington. I want a Redskin follower... Bad. He was my first ever jersey, and the reason I LOVED going to the games. He may have become a traitor, but he's back in Washington again!
4. @TheEllenShow. I'm sure everyone's going to try and get her, but there's no way anyone's a bigger fan of hers than mine. I'm going to prove it. I'll have the most epic of all epic videos up later tonight. In the meantime- keep tweeting her.
   
5. @LaurenConrad. I genuinely think she'll be the hardest to get, but I love her. I have to try. I model my look and attitude after her. She's one of my realistic idols. She doesn't follow many people, but she's gotta follow me!

This is all I'm going to say for now. I don't want to be all over the place, I want to stay focused... And these people represent many sides of me.
