interview: jay sean is really freaking cool

You remember that bomb song from Jay Sean, "Down," right?! Duh.

Well after a couple years of being quiet, he's back with a new song with Sean Paul, which means he's willing to do some radio interviews. He came all the way to DC, JUST to talk to me on my birthday. Real life. I felt really effing special.

As soon as Jay walked in, it felt comfortable and fun and vibey, and that makes for a really genuine chat. We talked about the risks he's taken and the ridiculous things people post on Instagram. We shared stories about Sean Paul and did you know he has an accent?! Turns out there's an explanation for that too.

Then the REAL fun came, and it's all thanks to my mom for sending me this Urban Dictionary game for my birthday!

It was educational and ridiculous as we learned what different terms meant.

Seriously, Mother Teresa sex.... that's a game changer.

I'm so thankful for artists who come in to have a good time and just wanna be two people hangin' out for a bit. Jay Sean, you da bomb. And so is this song of yours.

how to play: bar golf in dc

Have you ever played bar golf? When I did it the first time years ago in Texas, they made me feel like I was so late to such a popular game. When I planned it for my birthday party last weekend, no one really understood it. They kept asking if it was mini golf, a bar with a golf course, and more shockingly: If they needed to bring their own clubs.

Fun fact about me: I'm terrible at ball sports. I'll never celebrate my birthday with balls. Well, the kinds that you have to be skilled to play with, anyway. Assuming I would do golf on my birthday is like believing I'm pregnant.

Bar golf is a bar crawl in which you go to nine bars, and earn points based on what you drink. The simplest way to play it is saying no matter which bar it is, a birdie = beer + shot. Par = shot. Bogey = beer.... or whatever variation you'd like.

I don't believe in the easy or typical way of doing things, so I personalized it based on the bars we went to. I figured out who had happy hour and what was a good deal. I figured out what the bars were known for, what was strong, what had a lot of sugar, etc... and most importantly: which bars had beautiful rooftops. From there, I came up with other ways to earn points and made this here score card.

[you can click on that, make it bigger, and print it out for yourself! You're welcome.]

Everyone's immediate reaction: "This looks easy, I'll do all birdies AND a ton of extra drinks!
SPOILER ALERT: No one finished. We didn't even make it to El Centro. So, if you play this version, and you wanna win, don't do the extras. Trust me.

If you wanna really up the ante, get some trophies. [Told ya they're my new thing!] You can even add a Snapchat filter to the bars you're going to for $5/hour. Worth it.

Who's gonna get the trophy? I haven't decided yet. I remember a couple people going balls to the wall from the beginning, but we need to make sure no vomiting happened! [I'm also gonna need to get the trophies back because... well.... I left them and my entire backpack at bar #5. because of course I did.]

All in all, it's a damn fun game, and it doesn't have to be so aggressive. You could do teams of four, that might make it easier, or take away the points for extra beers. I tried to make it not worth it for half a point, but that excited people.

Some snaps from my frands since my story failed to save *insert extremely frustrated face here.*

[I changed up the font after bar 5 to look a little more drunk, teehee]

And that's a wrap on another birthday celebration! My 30th is already in the works and if it doesn't go as planned, know that I will blow the world up if Trump hasn't already.

what more of your childhood toys are worth now

Done a lot of these "what are they worth" posts lately, but get ready for more head-hitting prices.

THIS GAME WAS SO CRAZY! I mean, I really don't remember how to play, but I know it was fun.

Oh, just some skateboards that you ride with your fingers... Now worth the triple digits.

Easiest, most simple game ever, but ya never know what those collectors like.

The original Super Soaker. It would never win in a fight with the new things they've come up with, but people are offering some dough.

K'nex Rolle Coasters. The people who buy this for nearly $1,000 must think they're gonna get to ride it.

No one's got street cred like the Street Sharks... obviously worth a lot now since their appearance in Sharknado.

Fisher Price castle, complete with a canon and a hideaway tower.

I mean, these were pretty damn special... so now they're going for $1100.

The smallest doll in all the land, now with a hefty bill.

The original Game Boy best come with some games if I'm going to be paying that kinda money.

Of course these things can't be considered "worth" all this money unless someone's going to pay that much for them, right? Unless we're playing by "Storage Wars" rules because you never see someone actually buy any of the stuff they find and price out.

Either way... it's time to start hoarding so I can be rich in twenty years... Cuz I know we had at least six of those things that my mom probably threw out three years ago.

diy: how to make a sexy jenga game

I was reading some article the other day talking about different games to play to "spice up your sex life," and "Sex Stack" was one of them. Basically, you paid a ridiculous amount of money for a Jenga sex game.

Spending a lot of money is really stupid when you could spend $5 and get the same result. An average Jenga set is $5 and has 54 pieces, so I came up with 54 foreplay actions to write on your tiles! [You may want to have liquor, ice, whipped cream, and some kind of "tie" handy!]

It's simple. Set it up like a normal Jenga game, pull a block, and do whatever it says. If you knock it over, you're gettin it on!

  1. Just a peck!
  2. Makeout!
  3. Underwear- off!
  4. Kiss anywhere of their choice
  5. Kiss anywhere of your choice
  6. Give a hickey
  7. Take a shot
  8. Take a body shot
  9. Lick whipped cream off body part of their choice
  10. Lick whipped cream off your choice
  11. Go again!
  12. Give special kisses- 30 seconds
  13. Receive special kisses- 30 seconds
  14. Give a lapdance
  15. Get a lapdance
  16. Motorboat, you SOB
  17. Mouth to the ear
  18. Get "handy" on them, 30 secs
  19. Do what they want, to them.
  20. Do what you want, to them.
  21. They do what you want, to you.
  22. They do what they want, to you.
  23. Blindfold them, draw again!
  24. You get blindfolded, then they pick!
  25. Ice play with their nipples!
  26. Nothing. Their turn again!
  27. Kiss on their stomach
  28. Kiss the inner legs
  29. 69- 30 seconds
  30. Get in the shower for 5 mins
  31. Kiss down their spine
  32. Please yourself- 30 seconds
  33. Tie them to the bed, pick again.
  34. Get tied to the bed, they pick.
  35. Break out a toy! Their choice
  36. Kiss on their neck for 30 secs
  37. Give a mouth and ice massage until it's melted
  38. Give a massage for 1 minute anywhere on the top half of their body
  39. Give a massage for 1 minute anywhere below the belt
  40. Remove article of clothing of their choice
  41. Move your tongue along their "happy trail."
  42. Get your lips super close without touching for 60 seconds. No cheating!
  43. Take off an article of their clothing with your mouth
  44. Whisper something hott in their ear
  45. Dry hump, you on top. 2 minutes
  46. Dry hump, them on top. 2 minutes
  47. Dry hump without kissing on the face. 2 mins
  48. Reveal your current biggest fantasy/wish
  49. Gently run your fingertips up and down their back
  50. Lightly run your lips over their chest
  51. Lightly run your lips over their neck/face
  52. Act out a scene from their favorite movie
  53. Take one naughty photo of each person
  54. Knock it over, get busy!
Umm, sounds fantastic, right?! Unless, of course, you get the "knock it over" on the first pull. That'd be stupid.

All you have to do is grab a [thin] Sharpie and write each of these on a block! Super easy!

Now get to it! Valentine's Day is coming up and let's be real: This is a fantastic gift and/or activity that will last forever! [Or 5 minutes, depending on your ability to last...]

And feel free to comment below any other tile ideas you have! The more the merrier!

gift guide 2012: nifty shot glasses and glassware

It's weird. I feel like I mostly suck at getting gifts for people these days... but I also feel like I always find the niftiest things! This year, I'm going to start listening to my own suggestions. You should too.

Day 1: Shot glasses that should be in everyone's collection, and other pieces of glassware

I've wanted this DRINK/DRUNK shot glass for a while. I mean... you flip it over... and it declares you drunk!!!! It's just clever. [Set of 2 for $12]

ShootERS and Ladders! Hot damn I love making old games new again. It'll be your new fave drinking game. [For $18]

These are just awesome for a collection! Mini martini, wine, and boot glass for shots! Yes please! [On sale for $15!]

Why not make your party even more classy with red Solo cup SHOT GLASSES?! It only makes sense. [$12 for 4]

This one's genius, and may end up being what I make for all my friends. [Shh, hopefully they suck at being my friend/reading this blog.] It's a totally DIY part shot glass, part wine/drink glass! Just buy separately, decorate, and glue together!

For all the dudes that are all "I don't drink wine, I'm too manly, I don't want those fancy glasses." Fine. Have this fancy Winestein for $20.

And just for the hell of it, why not gt a mug that looks like a toilet so you can feel like you're drinking nasty toilet water when you have your tea or coffee in the morning. [Also on sale for $15!]

Every weekday until Christmas I'll be posting some fun/random ideas like this, so if you have any requests for "category," you just let me know! Also, let me know if you find anything neat that I could include! Of course, I'll always try to keep it affordable for all you slightly poor people like me.

watch: t-mobile plays angry birds live

Hopefully I'm not late in seeing/sharing this, cuz it's pretty freakin' cool!

I'm no Angry Birds fanatic, but when you take a smart phone game and turn it into real life, throw large objects, and destroy other objects, it's a pretty great time.

It's also a damn good marketing strategy. Bravo, T-Mobile. You win.

I always love these stop-motion videos, as long as they're done right.

This one definitely took some work, and I appreciate it. They played a Pacman game in the stands!

I envy the people who make this happen.. but you already knew that.

watch: what the facebook poke really means

It's the unanswered question on Facebook: What does poking someone mean?!

Well, it could mean a variety of things, but one thing's for sure- and that's the meaning of the SuperPoke.

Have fun with thie hilarious and interactive video explaining the unexplainable:

the latest online trends are ridiculously amazing

I found out about the latest Internet and video trends last week and I decided to let it sink in for a few days before I judged anything...

...It's been a few days, and I'm glad I've waited.

People, mostly guys, have starting "Icing" each other and "Ponying" each other.

WTF does it mean?! Well... To Ice someone, you simply carry a Smirnoff Ice around, and in the middle of broad daylight and around lots of people, you shout ICE! The other guy has to drop to his knee and chug the entire bottle of Smirnoff.

To "Pony" someone, you casually ask them to come over, or you approach them, and put on Ginuwine's "Pony" song... The other guy then has to immediately start breakin' it down and grinding on you or something around them.

The best part about both of them is that it's mostly complete d-bags who do it, but "normal" people are catching on and making it even funnier. They're also coming up with the most clever of clever ways.

Is it all completely dumb and totally frat-boy?! Absolutely.
Will I still act like a d-bag boy and partake in such activities?! Abso-freakin-lutely. And I'll PUNISH you in BOTH!

Consider this game-on. I'm fair game to get, and I'm going to say all my friends are fair game because they should be reading this.

watch: race car video game chair

You know how to know if you're awesome?! If you have one of these... A game-chair that moves as if you're riding a roller coaster in your living room.

Sweetest. Thing. Ever.

I'm not a big gamer, especially now that I'm living alone again.. But if I had this, I would have to kiss this blog goodbye. Sorry.

watch: i'm not drunk, the game

If this game isn't real life, I don't know what is.

Everyone's had the moment in their life where they've played their cards and tried to get their friends, their parents, the cop, etc to let them drive home after having "only a few."

Now it's turned into a game [sorta]. Watch as he tries every excuse in the book to make it home on his own.

I want to see more! No wait. I want to play it myself! NOT in real life!

Everything about that is so right. I love the person who created it. I hope they know.

i want to play urban tag

This is the funniest game/prank/whatever! It's called Urban Tag, and there's really no harm done, but it provides for an afternoon of entertainment.

As a former kleptomaniac [don't judge me, I said former], I absolutely want to try this.

No stealing involved, but everyone totally thinks so!

The down-side: Most malls in this area have a rule that you can't chase someone who stole something. [You didn't hear that from me.]

Oh and big props to homeboy for jumping from escalator to escalator. You're a badass.

watch: george lopez and snoop dogg play on chatroulette

I don't think you really need another reason to play on ChatRoulette, but just in case you still haven't taken part in the best thing on the Internet right now, I have another reason why you should:

You might find George Lopez and Snoop Dogg playing Bingo.

Snoop was totally perfect for this! His reactions were priceless. Imagine "doin' your thing" and then BAM! You're on George Lopez Tonight.

Baaaahaha. Maybe Internet whores will calm down a little now... Or maybe there will be more.

Consider me a player of this Bingo game, though! What a fantastic idea.

watch: guitar hero christmas lights

Before last year I thought the trail of lights that my dad magically put into the sky was the coolest thing ever... Then I thought it was the crazy decorated house that changed with music....

Yeah, now my opinion has changed again, and I don't think it can be topped.

I present to you the Guitar Hero Christmas Lights:

In. Cred. I. Ble.

A former special effects guy from Disney created this masterpiece, which really plays the game on easy. He said no one has had a perfect score yet, though... Not even Guitar Hero experts.

The only thing I can say about this is Dad, it's time to step your game up. Get on his level, please. Kthanks.

morning hangover 110909

Good morning and Happy Monday, everyone! I hope your weekend was fantabulous! :)

  • 10 things not to say to any guy watching football. #3 is most important in my book.
  • I really need to get back into watching Gossip Girl... There's going to be a threesome tonight!
  • 14 things you didn't learn in school but wish they taught you in Sex-Ed.
  • George Bush may not be president anymore, but we're still laughing at all of the things he said while in the White House.
  • Guys- There are some things your girl shouldn't know, no matter what.
  • I know someone who could fit into this list of World's Oddest Couples.
  • No one is getting hurt by the Swine Flu more than Piglet.
  • I'll never leave you... Never.
  • Hobo-chic?: A brown bag beanie hat.
  • For the Robert Pattinson freaks [that I don't understand], here... Have his mouth in your.. Eh hum.
  • You've always wanted that X-ray vision through clothing, and now there's an app for that.

  • If this doesn't make you want to set up a table and break out the pong balls immediately, you're not human.

  • Hilarious: The Sims: The Horror Movie. [If you've ever played Sims, you need to watch this.]

That's the end for today! Have a great Manic Monday!

play instruments via youtube

OMG YouTube is so gaining like a million extra cool points lately. First they come up with a way to take quizzes, and now you can play instruments!

I kid you not. Some clever person came up with InstrumenTube, where you can play the piano, guitar, base, shaker, etc by clicking different parts of the timeline!

Here... Try the piano for yourself, and try not to waste too much time playing...

If you ever have a laptop party with your friends, you can totally each be assigned a different instrument and play them. Then you'll have a YouTube BAND!

OMG and then you could totally take a video of it and upload it to YouTube! It's such a great cycle, right?!

Don't anyone copy my idea. I'll kill you.

watch: soccer hero

So they actually call this Football Hero, but that's because they don't have the fantastic thing we call American Football.

Anyway, these guys rigged up Guitar Hero so that they had to kick the soccer balls and hit the colored square that would stroke the guitar keys.

Sound confusing? It did to me at first, too. Just watch the amazingness:

How crazy awesome is that?! Talk about GREAT practice, and totally fun!

We should make a floor version for gymnasts... And by we, I mean someone else who has a lot of time on their hands.

watch: super mario proposal

Super Mario is totally making a comeback! Forget about X-Box etc. and bring back the old-school!

Now someone is even using it as a way to propose to his lady! He somehow customized the game into asking her to marry him!

I'm totally wondering if this was fake or planned because homegirl is not excited AT ALL! She just looks at him and says yes and gives a kiss. Woop-dee-freakin-doo!!!

Then again... They look hella young. It probably should have just said "will you go to prom with me?!"

watch: real life tetris

YES! Another game brought to LIFE!

We've seen real-life Candyland, MarioKart, and Guitar Hero. Now-- TETRIS!

These skaters made light-up shapes and apparently closed down an entire street to film them making a Tetris game.

Okay so I'm not even going to say "I'm jealous of this" or "I'm fascinated" because it's a known fact. I just want to come up with the next game to be demonstrated like this. Hmmmm...

Dude. A real-life "Trouble" game would be so legit. If someone could come up with a way to make the dice-popper thing, it'd be the greatest ever. Or what if you could somehow play Poker or some card game with people being the cards? That'd be sweet, too! To shuffle, they would just run around! WOOHOO who wants to try?!

Now I shall wait impatiently for the next installment of real-life gaming.
