watch: what we do with our time

You know I love a good motivational quote, picture, story, video, whatever... so that's why I'm sharing this one with you!

You could look at this as a video filled with facts on what we do with our time, or you could look at it as a depressing collection of statements that make this life pointless... OR... you could do what you're supposed to... be motivated to make every day you live count.


I really wanted to jump out of my seat and go ride to the beach or do something more fun, but I'm at work and hella behind.... and even though this is telling me to not spend too much time working, I really need to right now...

So.. for me... get your ass up and go do something fun, k thanks.

the perfect adult summer camp schedule

I saw a commercial for one of the gymnastics summer camps I went to as a kid and immediately got so jealous. Why are there no summer camps that adults can escape to [without having to watch over children]?!

It seemed like a lot of people felt my pain in having something missing from their lives, so let's just imagine what the perfect day would be like, after making your brand new friends...

11:00 am- Wake up, and head to brunch. Free Mimosa and Bloody Mary bars included. 

12-2:30 pm- Leisure time. Hang out with friends, play on ropes courses, ziplines, trampolines, horseback riding, dune buggies, paintball, arcade, etc. 

2:30-5:00 pm- Sports time. Every sports facility imaginable available from fields to gymnastics gyms... workout equipment to swimming pools... water sports and extreme sports... even circus sports.

5-7:00 pm- Happy hour and dinner. If we're really dreaming, we wouldn't have to pay for the drinks... or they're only $1 during this time.

7-9:00 pm- Group activities. Campfires, slip n slides, mud wrestling, competitions like tug o' war and kickball, etc. 

9-10:00 pm- Get ready/pre-game time.

10pm-2:00 am- Themed bar night. Each night is different [subject to change]. 

• Monday: Karaoke 
• Tuesday: Party Like It's 1999
• Wednesday: Anything But Clothes
• Thursday: White Trash
• Friday: Celebrity
• Saturday: Halloween
• Sunday: Pajamas

2:00 am- Get an anti-hangover shot/pill and head to bed. 

Damnit, now I'm even more mad I can't just get away and do this right now. There are some adult summer camps, but they're mostly pretty focused on what you like to do. There's also a Camp Grounded in Cali that seems to have a little bit of everything, minus the adult activities and extreme sports.

So now the question is... who's gonna fund this idea and help me make it happen?! It shouldn't be that hard, right?!?!

i spy: people in the club that need better friends

REAL friends don't let their friends leave the house looking like a fool... which is why these people I saw in the bars and clubs last week need to re-evaluate the people they hang out with.

Pull your mother effing pants up, bro. You're WEARING A BELT, that holds up up under your butt?! Excuse me if I sound all grandma-like, but no girl in her right mind is going to find this hott.

Maybe this guy just needs to consult his kids before he goes out. Not only is he at a place full of 21 year old girls, but he's wearing a COSBY SWEATER. Ugly sweater season ended a month ago. It's time to move on.

I don't even know what to say about this man. I couldn't stop staring. I still can't stop staring. That 'stache. The sneaks you can't see in this pic. The hair. It's... real.

This picture doesn't do this act justice, but homeboy was not just chair-dancing.... he was chair-banging. It was a full on NC-17 chair porno in the middle of the dance floor.

As for this guy, I am naturally drawn to the light-up shirts [in a good way], which are probably more d-baggy than I'm willing to admit. You tell me if this should be allowed or not.

I've been working on making some gifs for some of these people's dance moves, along with a lot more, and let me tell you.... They might give my dad a run for his money. It's been a long time since I've done I Spy posts, but I need to bring it back. People watching is much too fun not to share.

watch: a yearly video we all need to start making

I first saw this and thought "oh, well that's neat." Then I was all "OMG that's SO neat, and I need to do it every year to help me reminisce!"

It's one second of video for every day for a year... This dude did it for his 30th year.


Random, but totally cool, right?! Sure, I'll have to somehow remember to do it every day, and I'll have to make my life a little more interesting on other days, but if I can pull this off, even on a monthly basis, I will love myself and the creation.

Someone's already challenged me to really do it and have the most interesting life, so feel free to join in on the challenge and we'll compare after a while!

10 amazing gingerbread houses for gingerbread house day!

Maybe it's because it's been damn near two decades since I built a gingerbread house, or maybe I'm just straight up awful at making them, but my creations never looked anything like these.

halloweenify'ing profile pics

The debates are totally yawn-worthy to me unless one of them is literally about to deck the other, so I decided to entertain myself in other ways while also running the show... by "Halloween-ifying" my and my coworkers' profile pics.

You can definitely tell I did mine first because it's the most lame, but it's fine! I have fun making all of them different!

That being said, if you want to be zombified, witchified, or vampir-ified [?], you just let me know and I will totally do it! It's fun to do while everyone else is sleeping or paying attention to things I'd rather read up on the next day.

watch: people in sports being straight up awesome

Sometimes people look at videos and see something over a minute and think "I'm too ADD for this."

No one is too ADD for this video. Not even me. It's quick clips of TONS of people from ALL sports being straight up awesome at life.

It's not like we've never noticed it before, but after looking at 41 pictures of proof, it's kinda crazy how ridiculous celebrities allowed themselves to look.

 

We'll never look at R-Gos the same again. Damnit.
