watch: marky mark's calvin klein ad and other 90s commercials you'll remember

I was going through this list of 90s commercials we'll all definitely remember thinking "wow, this is crazy... it's like they were airing yesterday." It's probably because I never watch commercials anymore to actually remember them, or maybe it's just because the jingles were so damn good.

Then I saw this one from Marky Mark. Hott diggity damn, boy. I think I was too young to really appreciate him when he was all badass, and now I'm sad I missed it.



The swagger. The junk. The voice. Yummy. Break me off a piece of THAT.

Then there was also this Mentos commercial.... in which I remember every word of.


Anddd we all just wanted the Nickelodeon magazine, PLEASE!


The times have changed, obviously. The only commercials I might remember forever are ones that have gone viral online or sound like old people are sh!tting their pants. Genius.

I don't care if you judge me or not... Leo DiCaprio > JTT. Yeah, I said it. All I need is one look at him in "Growing Pains" and weird things happen to my body.

That side-part!!! Luckily he had it for a long time in life, because today I give to you his face in a Bubble Yum commercial. Who knew "keep it poppin'" became a thing in 1988?

watch: 90's nostalgia microsoft ad will make you smile

It's not often I post any kind of legit advertisement on here, but when it has to do with the 90s and it actually made me smile and LOL, I gotta share!

Microsoft is helping the people understand why they've changed so much with this awesome piece of nostalgia.


It's perfect! Now I understand, Microsoft! And I give you even more plus points for all the advertising they've been doing for the new Windows. It's been more effective on me than anything else I've seen recently. [I want those new tablets with magnetic keyboards SO bad after seeing the dancing commercial!]

And they hit everything that we truly loved in that commercial. Gah. I wanna watch it again. Foreals.

watch/nifty: hilarious equestrian workout system from asian people

Forget the Shake Weight and any other sexual workout items. This here, my friends, tops them all.

And thank God for the Asians who give us such beautiful pieces of equipment.

Now equestrians can simulate the ride in the comfort of their own home.........



First of all, there's no way they can really pretend like this is all about "simulating riding a horse." They're just smarter than us and think of sexual things, THEN try to compare them to other, more innocent things... I would bet my bottom dollar on that.

Either way, I do think it'd be fun to have. And it might even work some muscles! But I think it would work even better with a partner... ya knowww?!

etv poll: which clips should i use for my official sundrop commercial submission?

So I got dared to "Sun Drop" all over town, just like they do in the commercial. I was totally down to do it from the beginning, but I had no idea how late to the party I was. [FAIL!]

Anyway, one of my mottos, of course- "Better late than never!"

So yesterday I went all around town, from the mall, to the bar, to the library, to campus, and dropped it like it was hot [which it was, by the way- 107 degrees]. I can't decide which of these to put in my final submission, so watch and tell me your thoughts!

Hopefully I'm not late in seeing/sharing this, cuz it's pretty freakin' cool!

I'm no Angry Birds fanatic, but when you take a smart phone game and turn it into real life, throw large objects, and destroy other objects, it's a pretty great time.

As much as I think we're stepping our game up with subtle comments in the news and in commercials, every other country seems to know how to mix sex into anything.

This French commercial teaches you a very valuable lesson:

As usual, I don't know anywhere near everything for the Challenge, but what I do know- It's not going to be a dull season.

watch: worst commercial ever is from morgantown

If you know nothing about Morgantown, WV, it's pretty unfortunate that you know nothing of 6'6" 240, arguably the best rapper alive.

Woah. That's a lie. He's pretty damn terrible, yet he made a "Gold N Blue" song [and continues to switch up the lyrics every year] about the Mountaineers that gets tons of radio time and people chanting it on game day.

To give you a little taste of how he is and how the town seems to believe the "best" comment, check out this commercial. It's legit. It airs on TV. SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE, thought it was a good idea.



HOW HAVE I NOT SEEN THIS BEFORE NOW?!

I'll never know the answer to that question, but I'm really glad that my hickey contest havin' BFF just showed it to me.

A Guinness commercial getting ready to celebrate St. Patty's Day is telling the guys the rules to giving a man hug.



I think it's funny, and especially for all the "macho guys," they're gonna be all "YA BRO, DON'T TOUCH ME SO MUCH, DUDE!" ..And that's funny to imagine.

But lose the homophobia, DUDES. Give some love to your besties every once in a while. Hasn't a girl ever told you that unless your caressing or kissing another guy, we think it's pretty darn adorable that you're not afraid to show your BFF some man-love.

The A-Line rule... That will just make you look ridiculous. The hard pat- Every one knows that rule, so feel free to live by it.

watch: super scandalous peta super bowl ad

Tweet I should warn you that even though no goodies are exposed in this video, it's probably not something you should be watching at work if people will see it.

Plus... you just might pop something up while watching, and that's always awkward with others around.

PETA is known for their controversial ads they try to get aired during the Super Bowl, and normally they lose the battle. Something tells me they'll be losing again this year.

They took outtakes from one of their previous casting calls to prove why vegetarians are better at sex.



Thank goodness the guy comes in for a little comedic relief! That's some serious veggie-time.

watch: banned beyonce commercial

Tweet Beyonce has a new perfume out, and the ad for it has a lot of people talking... but it won't be shown on TV like originally planned.

They've banned this ad from airing, and though it may be a little hott [that's an understatement], I think it's ridiculous that they're not going to let it be shown... But you can be the judge for yourself.

WARNING: Boys- I wouldn't watch this in public.



I mean DANG GIRL! I'm pretty anti-Beyonce most of the time, but this even made my pants a little wet. Hot diggity.

Besides the near-nip-slip a few times, I really don't understand why it breaks the rules, but let's be honest- a banned ad, especially like this one, will probably get more attention than one that is regularly skipped thanks to the DVR.

Props to Beyonce. She's workin' it. And clearly I'm going to need that perfume if I want to have the same effect.

watch: taylor momsen in 1997

Tweet As I said last week during the Hollywood Minute, Taylor Momsen has been "working" since the age of two, and is not exactly happy about it.

But even though I can't really see the resemblance without the raccoon eyes, she's flipping adorable in this Shake n Bake commercial, and it's no wonder they put her to work.



Seriously... how adorable is she?! And to think she turned into the... well... you know what that she is today...Stupid parents.

watch: american idol season 10 promos

Tweet Normally the day comes around when the next season of American Idol starts showing promos and I pee my pants in excitement. It's the 10th season ahead of us, and as one of the most loyal watchers since season 1, I should be excited.... but.... well, you know what has happened.

I wondered how they would tease up this season, and with the first couple of promos out, I'd say they did the best they could. They reflected on the past 9 seasons and reminded us of our winners... With the only friendly voice of this upcoming season chiming in randomly [Randy].





I totally dig the first song, for the record. And I really do love these promos. The only problem: It's not going to convince anyone that this season is going to be better, or even as good as previous seasons.

watch: the situation does situational training for vitamin water

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but this ad is funnier than the Old Spice ones.

The Situation has taken the role of endorsing Vitamin Water by putting athletes through his "Situational Training" to become all hott and GTL-worthy.

It's... perfection.



I try to hate on him, and I can't. And neither can you. The guy has gone from zero to hero thanks to having abs of steel. Now his ridiculous language is taking over our country and we're letting him. Soon he'll be president.

If you know anything about me in real life or when it comes to football, you probably know I think Reggie Bush is beautiful. It's no surprise that I'm going to love a promo involving him.
