watch etv: i got straight up ugly for my latest vlog

People tell me to make "Jenna Marbles style vlogs" allll the time. It's weird, cuz I feel like my old videos were kiiind of that style [mixed in with clips of Real Worlders], but also, as much as I think we're ridiculously alike, I don't wanna try to do what she does so well!

So, I didn't do a Marbles video, but I did come up with something to just talk about and act out... and this time it was all about ugly people. They're winning lately, if you didn't notice.

People have been taking screenshots and posting them on my Facebook, which is making my life.

Mike N. made this because "it needed to be done."

And just because you're awesome and checking this out on my blog, I made this gem for you.

Yeah, you're welcome.

Feel free to give me any ideas for vlogs in the future... or maybe I'll continue with the winning theme.

watch: banned beyonce commercial

Beyonce has a new perfume out, and the ad for it has a lot of people talking... but it won't be shown on TV like originally planned.

They've banned this ad from airing, and though it may be a little hott [that's an understatement], I think it's ridiculous that they're not going to let it be shown... But you can be the judge for yourself.

WARNING: Boys- I wouldn't watch this in public.

I mean DANG GIRL! I'm pretty anti-Beyonce most of the time, but this even made my pants a little wet. Hot diggity.

Besides the near-nip-slip a few times, I really don't understand why it breaks the rules, but let's be honest- a banned ad, especially like this one, will probably get more attention than one that is regularly skipped thanks to the DVR.

Props to Beyonce. She's workin' it. And clearly I'm going to need that perfume if I want to have the same effect.

beyonce is annoying even in advertisements

I try to give Beyonce a second, third, fourth chance with everything she does, but it never really ends up successful.

Her new Dereon ads are out now and she looks hott in the pictures....

...BUT [I'm sure you expected the but] her video proves that she still doesn't have much of an imagination.

Cue the leotards, anything that can show her booty and legs, and lots of very sexual movement/dancing.

The only thing she's missing are her two backup dancers!

Look, I get it: She's hott, and if she's got a body, why not flaunt it?! I'm all about that! I was okay with her first and maybe even second video that included a leo, a dance breakdown and two backup dancers... But now it's getting way too predictable for my liking.

PLUS: Is she really selling clothes in any of this!?

Maybe one day I'll meet her and have to apologize for all the trash talking, but in the meantime, I'm here to speak my mind as usual.

wardrobe malfunction!: beyonce

It's been a long time since we've seen a good ol' fashioned "wardrobe malfunction." I guess with summer right around the corner, y'all are about to get lucky again.

Today's victim: Beyonce.

Before we get to what you really want to see, can we just take a look at her in a bathing suit?

Maybe I'm a hater, but I don't think she's lookin' too hott.

That suit is terrible on her. She looks like a granny. And I feel like the sand is acting as her natural Photoshop and covering up all the cellulite.

Not a good look. I think this is the worst I've ever seen her.... Agreed?

Anyway, back to what you clicked the link for- If you want to see her wardrobe malfunction, and you're allowed to, click the pic.

You're welcome.

tunes on tuesday 111709

The best thing about Tuesdays--> Tunes on Tuesday! DUH!

Let's get right in to the new music of this week!

Beyonce ft. Lady Gaga--> Video Phone

This is just getting annoying. It's obvious that Beyonce's team is behind this video because they've got Lady Gaga wearing a leotard, just like Beyonce does in every video. How many outfits can one turn into a leotard?! Gaga's weirdness came through a little, but she seems more normal than anything for once. She's actually struggling to keep up with B's opening and closing of the legs rhythm. I'm hating. Hard.

Rihanna--> Wait Your Turn

Definitely a dark video, wow. I'm not sure how I feel about the song... I don't think I love it, to be honest. It's meh.

Jennifer Lopez ft. Pitbull--> Fresh Out the Oven

I can't remember if I've posted this before or not, but just in case you missed it either way, it's worth a listen. I'm rooting for a JLo comeback big time!

Space Cowboy--> Party Like Animal

If you like the sorta-techno sound, you'll like this song, I think. I'm indifferent, but it's not bad.

Weezer--> I Want You To

Apparently this is going to be a huge song... Maybe I'm in a bad mood, but I don't get why.

Cavo--> Let It Go

This is a nice little song from the Transformers soundtrack. I can totally rock out in my car and sing at the top of my lungs to it, I think.

John Mayer--> Heartbreak Warfare

A LOT of people have been talking about how they're diggin' this song, and I can't disagree. I thought John Mayer's time was over after all the random publicity he got for random things, but he's stickin' around.

Lady Gaga ft. Beyonce--> Telephone

Is this what we do now? Make two songs with two people, about the same thing, but each person gets one song...? Haterade comin' up soon.

Ludacris--> How Low

This song totally makes me laugh AND dance. I heart Luda. He gives me good songs to dance to and pretend like I know.

Mary J Blige--> I Am

You right, Mary.. No one does it better than you.... :-P She's good. Nothing else needs to be said.

Ne-Yo--> Never Knew I Needed

Have I ever mentioned how in love I am with Ne-Yo?! No exception here.

Young and Devine--> Shake That Bubble

I like the lyrics, they're funny... But this band isn't striking me as anything new or different. I can get down to it, though.

Country Music time!

Keith Urban--> Til Summer Comes Around
This is perfect for me right now! I feel like summer just ended [a little late for the realization, I know] and I miss it. It's a little on the sad side, but it's cute. Love.

Jack Ingram--> Seeing Stars
Hmmm.... It's a slow song... And it's not bad.....

Jessica Harp--> A Woman Needs
This is a cute song for girls, by a girl. I'll listen many times.

Krista Marie--> Tomboy
No idea who this chic is, but I'm totally diggin' this song. I love everything about it.

Whitney Duncan--> Skinny Dippin'
This isn't what I was expecting sound-wise when I clicked on the song, but it's growing on me. I think I like it. It's just a little cold outside to be doin' any skinny dipping...

That's it for today! Enjoy, everyone!

watch: glee does single ladies

Have you been watching Glee?!?! For some terrible reason that I don't know, I have not. I know I need to. I know I'll love it. I know I'll become obsessed just like I was with The OC... Which is what I've been yearning for ever since it RIP'ed.

Anyway... Last night's episode apparently featured the football team calling a timeout and breaking out into the Single Ladies dance and then... Well, you'll have to watch.

No matter who does this dance, it's hilarious every time. That's about the only good thing about the song.

What a CLEVER idea though, right?! I mean... Get everyone into the song and dance, practice your formation, and HIKE!!!!!

Sir Toby Knapp had a fabulous idea for the Redskins: try this trick! We'll have everyone lovin' us if they did try it, and it would be a guaranteed touchdown, something that we're in need of.

Good work, writers of Glee. I promise I will tune in ASAP.

watch: britney covers alanis

I never thought I'd see the day this happened! Britney Spears, singing live, and covering Alanis Morissette.

She sang "You Oughtta Know" on Friday night in NC!

Honestly... I think the worst part about this is her outfit. She looks like a crazy rockstar wannabe Barbie or something. Her singing is way better than I'd expect on a song like this. I'm proud of her!

Apparently Little Miss Leotard did the same thing on her tour not long ago. [No, I don't think BritBrit would take the idea from her. Everyone likes to sing Alanis, just not everyone should.]

Maybe I'm biased, but I think Britney rocked it better. Beyonce tried to hard. As for who had the better outfit... Well... Both make me want to cry.

watch: single ladies gone wrong

A certain ex-bossman just sent this to me and I thought "oh geez... Not another Single Ladies impression." Then, I watched it.

First of all, it serves her right seeing as she was showing more of the lame TV than her doing the stupid dance.

Second, I'm going to call it the Single Ladies curse. If you're going to do this dance, something terrible will probably happen to you, because that's what you deserve.

Third.. What the H is that mask?! Just another curse/reason it should have happened.

Please.. Everyone... Stop. Stop doing this stupid video.
[Unless of course you get struck by the curse. Then, as I usually say, have a camera on you.]

watch: joe jonas does single ladies

Apparently the best way to promote an upcoming album is to post ridiculous, rather awkward videos on YouTube that everyone is bound to watch and share. Yep, I've fallen right into the trap.

The latest: the Jonas Brothers.

The good thing about their video is that they're kind of making fun of Beyonce. Joe Jonas dances to "Single Ladies," just like a million other YouTubers, and it's actually pretty hilarious.

He looks downright ridiculous, but I think it makes Beyonce look more ridiculous, too. Not that I didn't already know her dances and videos were not creative and stupid [DUH!], but this helps that fact.

So thank you, Joe Jonas. I hope you have fabulous luck with the album. You're releasing it on the best day of the year, after all.

tunes on tuesday 052609

Woohoo! It's my favorite day! And I'm getting the post done early!!!
[I almost didn't at all, though! I kept thinking it was Monday. Darn those 3 day weekends.]

Jay Sean ft. Lil Wayne--> Down

So he's some British pop star and has had multiple hits or something... Is it bad that I kinda like this song? It's definitely cheesy, but who cares?! And apparently Wayne is all about helpin' people lately.

Flo Rida--> Sugar

In case ya'll forgot, I totally debuted this song months ago, and I have absolutely loved it from the second I heard it. Question, though... Why does this video look like something a small-town amateur would do?

Black Eyed Peas--> Alive

Hmmm... Maybe it's good that they came out with "Boom Boom Pow" first so that they got a bunch of people wanting to hear more, but I have yet to be uber impressed since that song. I don't know.. This one is OK I guess...

Esmee Denters--> Outta Here

So this girl was discovered after covering Justin Timberlake's "What Goes Around" and now he's producing this song. You'd never be able to tell by this video, but she's veryyyy Spanish. Or Hispanic, or Latina or whatever it is. I like the song though... I can hang with it.

Black Eyed Peas--> I Got a Feelin'

Okay, I take back what I said before, I think. This is actually the new official single being released to all the stations, and I'm glad. I still don't like as much as BBP, but I like it... It's funny, and has a decent beat. Phew.

Beyonce--> Sweet Dreams

Woah. Could this be.... A different sound from B? No... It's almost like... I've never heard something like this from her! It has a different beat! I'm not CRAZY about it, but I like it.. And it gets 10 points for being different than the usual. BUT! Will she wear a leotard and have 2 dancers???

Lovesick Radio--> Loser of the Year

Consider me a big fan of them now, after hanging with them for a day. [Elaborate post coming ASAP.] So I'm pretty sure this is going to be their next single and I think you need to listen. Also, listen to more of them... Especially when they do covers at live performances. They're fab.

Shea Fisher--> Don't Chase Me

She reminds me of a brunette Julianne Hough or something. She also has the potential to pull a Carrie or Taylor and do pop and country. The weird cheer in the beginning and middle needs to go, though.

Jason Aldean--> Big Green Tractor

I fully enjoy Jason Aldean, and this song is alright, but it's not fabulous. Probably something I'll play on the random, but not something I'll be excited to hear.

And as for a hopefuly "big comeback," AQUA has come out with a new single! [Yes, the group that did "Barbie Girl"]

"Back to the 80's"

I mean... Cool idea, I guess. Lyrics that you hear a lot in the country world but uh... These people were never talented, they just had a good voice for a funny song about Barbie. Why do they think it's a good idea to try and come back into the music world? Bad, bad idea.

That is all for today, folks! Enjoy, and break out the iTunes!!

Also, for Idol lovers, Brandon Rogers and Ruben Studdard have had albums released lately... I should have some of those songs on here next week. I need to listen first!

tunes on [thursday] 052109

Alright, I know I scout's honored that I would have this up yesterday, but when you move back into your parents' house, you don't exactly get to do what you want, when you want to do it.

So here ya go! Here is this week's Tunes on Tuesday!... On Thursday.

Beyonce--> Ego

Imagine that. She's wearing a leotard and has two dancers beside her. Why is she feeling her boobs? And seriously.. She needs to fire her choreographer and get a new one because she has the same dance for every song. Ugh.

Cascada--> Evacuate the Dancefloor

I actually enjoy this song, it's good to dance to. I'm not used to heard her/them/whatever sing an original song! The video could be better, but whatever. I won't hate... Yet.

Ace Hood ft. Akon and T-Pain--> Overtime

I actually really dig this song, too. I think because I actually enjoy the lyrics... Or at least what they're trying to say.

Black Eyed Peas--> Imma Be

I think BEP had a lot to live up to after Boom Boom Pow, and I don't think this was the song to do it. It's not a terrible song, but it's certainly not my favorite by any means.

Cobra Starship ft. Leighton Meester--> [I Make] Good Girls Go Bad

Leighton Meester= Blair from Gossip Girl. Interesting. The song is okay, she sounds a lot better than I expected her to. I may actually like her songs when she comes out with something of her own. The song as a whole- I give it a C.

Ida Maria--> I Like You So Much Better When You're Naked

This song isn't my absolute favorite, but it's that kind of music that people are going NUTS over lately, so I'm thinking it's going to give this Indie girl a huge in to the pop world. Mark my words.

Daughtry--> No Surprise

Are ya'll ready for another Chris Daughtry song to take over the airwaves? He's back! I fully enjoy this song, too. For once a song admitting that both people knew a breakup was coming, and it's alright. Oh Chris.. You're great. Can you believe this is the first song from his second album!? All of those before were from his debut album. Wow.

Finally, your American Idol! Kris Allen--> No Boundaries

It's maybe one of my lesser favorite Idol songs, but it's growing on me. And since Kris won, I definitely won't complain when I hear it on the radio.

As for my country fans... The songs that are about to become big, and are great, can't be downloaded/embedded for free right now, so here are some links:

Brooks & Dunn--> Indian Summer
Phill Vassar--> Bobby With an I
Rodney Atkins--> 15 Minutes
Jimmy Wayne--> I'll Be That

Alright, that's all I got for today, guys!! Again, sorry it's 2 days late!

listen: beyonce can't sing

Speaking of Beyonce... It looks like she's not as good of a singer as everyone thought. Howard Stern got the audio of the board feed of her performing on The Today Show, and it's ugly.

YIKES! And people made fun of Britney's mic feed?! Psh. This is just as bad, if not worse. She's tone deaf! Wow.

I wonder what she'll say about this..? Howard Stern-- Good job, buddy!

watch: stopping traffic

What happens when Trident puts on a Beyonce concert in London? Beyonce 100 Single Ladies Flash-Dance Piccadilly Circus, London for Trident Unwrapped... Or so the headline says.

Wow. They actually found 100 ladies who can do the Beyonce dance decently? I'm impressed! They probably should have hired them for her video or concert, to be honest. All they're lacking is the Beyonce bod.

One of these days I'll witness something like this. Or I'll be a part of it. That'll be fun.

XOXO: the next bonnie and clyde?

Rumor confirmed! It's time to push Beyonce and Jay Z to the side... There's officially a NEW rapper/singer combo!

50 Cent and Ciara are shackin' up! In hotel rooms!

It's been assumed for a while now, but of course they won't confirm it. [SOOO J&B-like] Now, hotel sources are saying it's true- They checked in together for the weekend in NYC.

I can't see 50 being all boyfriendy... Can you? He seems so... anti- that stuff or something. Who knows. Regardless- Congrats! :-P It's about time someone took the others off their throne.

trying to outdue britney?

Beyonce kicked off her tour on Tuesday, and the costumes are pretty "fierce." I think she's even trying to compete with the Circus star! And don't worry... They all include a leotard.

She even flew threw the air!! But, Britney did it way better.

Beyonce's an amazing singer, and she can perform, but the same stuff over and over again is getting old.

And to my friend who challenged me to a B vs. B blog, you know who you are, and I say game on!

look at the way she rock her hips

Surprise, surprise.. Beyonce is making two more music videos. Does she ever stop with the videos?

The real "story" here are her HIPS!

Or should I say... The worldS attached to her body right below her back/tummy.

For some reason, she decided it would be a good idea to wear this dress, and show the extra-curviness about her.

Wow. That's really, REALLY intense.

I'm not a fan, but that's nothing surprising, either. What do you think?

singing in the bathroom

Ellen's latest stunt was inspired by Rin on the Rox, the two girls who sing [amazingly] in their bathroom for YouTube watchers.

You can only imagine how much Ellen loves an idea like this.

She's been taking music artists into her bathroom when they visit the show so they can be a part of her "Bathroom Concert Series." It's pretty funny:

[Make sure you catch the "my ex..." that Pink says, and Ellen's correction.]

Anyways.. Obviously she's got to take it one step further. She's asking people to send in videos of them singing in the bathroom, and the winner will be sent to her show.

I want SO badly to do this, but I need some really creative ideas, because I think these people could easily beat anything I have in mind:

This girl is just darn good:

And this one is just kinda scary:

But of course, people who perform Single Ladies are always HILARIOUS!

But this one gets my official vote. Unbeatable. WATCH IT!!

Do you see her get low?! And the head movements!! She's got it DOWN! Seriously, she's the best one I've ever seen. Better than the fat guy, or the super skinny guy.. Better than the little baby. This girl takes the cake. She shut her hand to everyone else, it's done, finished, over. You win, girl! Oh man.

So, all suggestions are welcome. Hopefully I can come up with something good, but I think I'd rather just say that little Beyonce wins. I think I might surrender.

beyonce's newest backup dancer

Oh good! If Beyonce ever wanted a third backup dancer in her videos, this girl is PERFECT for it!

She's even got the leotard on, and what seems to be a big ol' badonkadonk!

And, of course.. She's got the moves.

I mean, really! She could go right down there in front of B and rock the show!

She's even got the jiggle! Ohh snap! Get it girl!

wardrobe malfunction!

Uh oh!

A HUGE event had a little slip of the nip this weekend, and no one caught it until now! How is that possible?!

During the "Musicals are Back!" diddy, Miss Beyonce let something hang out. And since it's not so noticeable until you blow it up [by clicking], I'll post it right on here.

Hugh Jackman: "Yeah baby, look how hott you look! Mmm, yesss... No Jay-Z! ME!"

Cover your ish, Beyonce. We don't want another Janet on our hands.
