melissa's still milkin' the 15 minutes
Wow. Melissa Rycroft really isn't giving up.
From the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders show, to the Bachelor, to Dancing with the Stars... And now, Good Morning America.
No, I'm not kidding.
They signed her on to be a correspondent/special contributer for the summer. Basically, they say she's going to take certain stories and "uplift" them.
In other words, add her giggle and make everything fun, happy, and peachy.
I hate that I'm going to say this, because I absolutely LOVED Melissa on the Bachelor AND DWTS... But your time is up, honey. Unless you can prove to us that you really are a force to be reckoned with and not just some reality TV star, it's time to exit stage left.

Big rumor of the day: Patrick Swayze died. False statement. He's alive, and "well." But he's certainly not looking like the Patrick we all know. :(
This would be Jennifer Hudson on the Today Show.
Oh no, J-Hud. This is NOT a good look. WHAT are the pants? They give her the absolute biggest camel toe I think I have ever seen. Not even the Cuchini could save this girl. And the shirt! Hmm.. Is she trying to hide a baby? Yikes yikes yikes.
Rihanna! Is that... Are you.... Are you SMILING?!?!?! It can't be! A beautiful smile on Rihanna walking into the studio to work with Justin Timberlake and Jay Z can be seen from miles away! It's been a LONG time since we've seen one on her!
Now, she needs to ditch that ugly haircut of hers, and go back to the normal Rihanna I used to absolutely love.
Check that out! Justin is sporting his curls that he used to have back in the NSYNC days!
Okay, they're not bleached out, and he doesn't have a fro, but I feel like it's been uber short for years now, and the curls make my heart warm. Welcome back, JT curls.
Adam Glambert and Kris Allen performed tonight for the Idol FINALE! Official song was written by Kara Dioguardi and is called "No Boundaries." [It's pretty lame, but whatever.]

Apparently the things they do on "Dancing With the Stars" shouldn't be tried at home. These two [ridiculously awkward from the very beginning] kids gave some dancing a try...

secret: melissa's milking her 15 minutes
I hope none of you guys were thinking ex-Dallas Cowboys cheerleader/Bachelor loser/DWTS contestant was going to fade out after she finishes this season... I don't see it happening.Hugh Hef has offered her $500,000 to pose in Playboy after she is done Dancing!
"Hef really wants Melissa to do a pictorial because she's the ultimate girl next door. He thinks she has it all: beauty, brains and spunk. And it doesn't hurt that she has a terrific figure."
She denied the offer.. For now, at least. She can't pose nude until at least 3 months after the season of DWTS wraps. From there, who knows what will happen, right?!
She's obviously hott, and would be great for the magazine... But if she wins DWTS, she could be set money-wise for quite some time. [They make pretty good money, for an average, not a real star, star.!]
What do you think though? Should she do it?!

he looks like the little mermaids prince's twin
Shawn Johnson had a creepy stalker, and now she might have a creepy partner, too.
They say they're super close and friendly and blah blah, and this picture certainly shows it.
Maybe it doesn't look like anything, but if you click it, you'll see what I mean. He definitely seems creepy. And if you've ever noticed one of the main reasons they had to redo The Little Mermaid, he matches the "problem."
Ohh Shawn... You're just so irresistible! Guys just can't keep their.. err... Hands off of you!

don't worry about her
If you were worried about Melissa Rycroft, the girl who got dumped on the Bachelor after being proposed to, don't.
Not only did she tell Ellen all about how she has a new boyfriend, but she's making more appearances on nighttime television, too! Jillian and Molly won't take her spotlight!
While Jillian is the new Bachelorette, and Molly and Jason run away somewhere and probably plan a show about their wedding, Melissa will be competing on Dancing With the Stars!!!!
Jewel and Nancy O'Dell both dropped out after injuries last week, so ex-Hef-wifey Holly Madison and Melissa are stepping in!

stupid idea, good choices
If the Grammy's are on a different network other than your own, what do you do in order to keep people watching your stuff?
NBC's answer: Reveal the cast of their most popular show over a span of 3 hours.
Did it work? Was it a good idea? Well, unless you're super impatient, and don't like the music world at all, chances are it'd be pointless for you to miss the Grammy's and sit around watching NBC for a couple of hours. There are people like me out there in the world you can give you the cast of "Dancing with the Stars" the next day. Quick and simple.
So, here they are. The people who were announced as part of the cast of Season 8 DWTS:

Honestly, I've never been hooked on the show.. But last season had some interesting people that I wanted to watch sometimes, and this season I'm pretty excited about too.
It's so diverse! I mean really.. Shawn Johnson could either ROCK this, or bomb it, depending on if she learned rhythm through gymnastics, or is the kind of gymnast with NO rhythm. [Plus, she's the youngest ever on the show at 17.. Looking 10.] Steve-o will be hilarious. Having couples compete against each other will be great, and Lil Kim is going to provide for some interesting moments, too.
Then of course they have to have the football player, and the normal people, so I think this could actually be really great. And I'm pumped about it. For once it's not a show "about celebrities" who are really just a bunch of D-listers. They have real people, reality show stars, actors, singers, everything! Bravo, NBC!
So, even though you annoyed people by pulling what you did last night, you have a good cast coming our way.. So I think we can forgive you. :)

he likes it, he loves it, and wants more of it
Since he's been back in front of the camera thanks to Dancing With The Stars, Lance Bass wants more of it even when the show is over!
He says he probably won't release any solo cd's because "the music industry is such a crapshoot these days".. and you never know what's going to be popular. BUT he is looking to have a sitcom sometime in the future.
He co-starred in "On the Line" with fellow NSYNCer Joey Fatone back in 2001, and did an episode of 7th Heaven.. but other than that he hasn't done much "big" acting. Still, I think it'd be interesting.. Seeing little ol Lance Bass on something like Friends or Entourage even.. :-P
I'm rootin for ya, Lance! On DWTS AND to get you a show! ;)

beauty doesn't equal skill
Does anyone watch "Dancing With the Stars"???
I'm sure there are some guys who watch just to see Kim Kardashian and her gargantuan booty.
Or.. watched.. I guess I should say.
Yea, she got voted off last night. I don't watch it, but I always want to! And I always wondered how the "hott girl" was doing. Well, check it out for yourself-->
One word: Yikes.
She's TERRIBLE! She has NO emotion. NO skill. It almost even comes off as no rhythm. Maybe she's just nervous.. maybe she genuinely feels awkward to show emotion towards her partner.. or maybe she's afraid Reggie will beat him up. Who knows. Either way, based on this video, I'm sure she deserved to go home last night.
Kim, you tell everyone to not pay attention to your ASS-ets. To look at your face and not down there.. to pay attention to your skill. WHAT SKILL?! All you got is junk in the trunk. And by the way, Kourtney is prettier than you. :)
