Sometimes I like to make life lesson posts that include multiple videos demonstrating things we can all learn from.
This video.... Can teach us a couple things.
Watch as two "hotties" try and recreate Risky Business..
WOOOO Okay.. Let me wipe my laughing tears and gain control of myself real quick.
Lesson #1: Don't lube up a wood floor while you record a video you most likely plan to put on the Internet.
Lesson #2: Don't go full force into the slide.
Lesson #3: Don't trust your friend to hide your embarrassing moment from the world.
Lesson #4: If your friend just fell on her ass, you probably want to be careful and move slowly.
Lesson #5: If you think you're hott enough to be great at this, put the camera in front of you. Show the guys your goodies when you fall.
Lesson #6: Just wear socks on a regular wooden floor.
Ohhh girls who think they're the hottest ish on this planet... They think they do everything perfect.
One thing you did do perfectly: Make me laugh.

update: celeb news in the past 48 hours
Quick updates on some thangs... Of course it seems like 239473324 things happen when I CAN'T be at my computer.
- If you didn't already get the memo, SamRon and LiLo are done son! And Sam is thinkin' Lindsay is going to do something crazy. [As if that's something different. Maybe Sam IS the better one of the two?! Who knows. I see a Britney-freak-out-type thing happening here real soon, though.] [People Mag]
- Patrick Swayze, who's dealing with pacreatic cancer, is down to just 105 pounds!!! It's absolutely terrible looking at the pictures and makes me want to cry... But he's not crying! Apparently he's still hangin' in there, so everyone pray uber hard for him! [National Enquirer]
- Thanks to Twitter, I was really starting to like Soulja Boy. I felt like he wasn't the ridiculous young, annoying rapper that he originally came out to be. Then he had a "Twitter Photoshoot" with his new grill. Welcome back, ridiculousness. [Twitter]
- Also thanks to Twitter, we have seen how PRECIOUS baby Bronx Mowli is! [Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz's baby!] He may be taking my top spot soon! Oh snap! [Twitter]
- While Ashlee showed off the baby though, Pete was showing off his partying skills. He was pictured dancing on the tables with some not-so-clothed girls. This is not a good sign. [Star Mag]
- And, speaking of pictures, a certain nobody posed in bikinis for OK Magazine. I would have NEVER expected her to look decent in one, but she's definitely rockin' it! Kathy Griffin! It's a little awkward, but not terrible! [Celebslam]
- Miley has been everywhere promoting the Hannah Montana movie [out today!] including Good Morning America. She did pretty good! Her voice is definitely getting better, and hopefully she'll start acting like a real 16 year old again and not some crazy wanna-be 21 y/o girl. [BunnyWithFangs]
- There's another celeb baby on the way! And it's about time for this couple! Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar, who have been married for 6 years now, are due in the fall! They're such a 90's couple, I'm surprised it took so long! But I have no doubt in my mind it'll be a precious baby, with a relatively normal name. Good. [People Mag]
- Kanye got raped on South Park, and he responded quickly. It's pretty funny.. But we all know how I feel about Kanye anyways. [BunnyWithFangs]

singing in the bathroom
Ellen's latest stunt was inspired by Rin on the Rox, the two girls who sing [amazingly] in their bathroom for YouTube watchers.
You can only imagine how much Ellen loves an idea like this.
She's been taking music artists into her bathroom when they visit the show so they can be a part of her "Bathroom Concert Series." It's pretty funny:
[Make sure you catch the "my ex..." that Pink says, and Ellen's correction.]
Anyways.. Obviously she's got to take it one step further. She's asking people to send in videos of them singing in the bathroom, and the winner will be sent to her show.
I want SO badly to do this, but I need some really creative ideas, because I think these people could easily beat anything I have in mind:
This girl is just darn good:
And this one is just kinda scary:
But of course, people who perform Single Ladies are always HILARIOUS!
But this one gets my official vote. Unbeatable. WATCH IT!!
Do you see her get low?! And the head movements!! She's got it DOWN! Seriously, she's the best one I've ever seen. Better than the fat guy, or the super skinny guy.. Better than the little baby. This girl takes the cake. She shut her hand to everyone else, it's done, finished, over. You win, girl! Oh man.
So, all suggestions are welcome. Hopefully I can come up with something good, but I think I'd rather just say that little Beyonce wins. I think I might surrender.

halftime sucks
What do more people watch? The "kickoff celebration" of the Super Bowl on January 29th, or the Super Bowl halftime show on February 1st?
Hmmm.. I'm going to go ahead and say the halftime show. As long as it's something interesting, anyways.
So tell me why all of the good, current musicians are performing for the kickoff celebration?!
To start the 43rd Super Bowl, Rihanna, Fall Out Boy, and Lifehouse will all perform, to be aired on VH1 @ 9:00 ET/PT, along with many other special guests.
That's pretty sweet.. Especially if they make a SHOW about it, rather than just performing. Better than stupid Bruce Springsteen.

tunes on tuesday 120908
Not only did you get the interview/exclusive freestyle from PHZ-Sicks for Tunes on Tuesday, but I also have these new songs for you to check out!! :)
Hmmm.. Unless it's the computer I'm using, which thank goodness isn't mine, I think the beat is entirely too loud over his voice. But, if I'm wrong, then I think it's a pretty good song. His voice is pretty, whoever he is, and it has a nice beat. Not necessarily a party song, but one to hang out to. I give it a C+.
Fall Out Boy ft. Lil Wayne--> Tiffany Blews
Woah, Interesting. Fall Out Boy and Lil Wayne?! Goodness.. Lil Wayne is literally EVERYWHERE. And I'm going to be honest for once here, I'm not a huge fan of either of them, but this song is good. Maybe I'm in a good mood, who knows... But I can definitely play this over and over again. Maybe my favorite Fall Out Boy song ever. [PS--> Wait for Lil Wayne.. It comes late in the song, and is very T-Pain with the computer sounds I always mention how lame it is.]
Mya--> Shy Guy
Woah! She's alive! And apparently coming out with a new album called "Sugar and Spice." And this is actually a remake from Diana King's version on the Bad Boys soundtrack, which reached #13 on the Billboard charts. I like it, it's a cool song. It's very much like EVERYTHING we're hearing on the radio or in mainstream or whatever right now. Go figure. But it's like saying guys shouldn't want the pretty girls, but the real girls. Instead, no fly guys please.. A shy guy is better. Maybeee I agree. I'm kinda excited for her to come back though.. Hmmm...
The Game ft. Ne-Yo--> Camera Phone
The Game is just.. Eh to me right now. But Ne-Yo is the ish.. So, I'm half and half on this song. The lyrics are kinda funny.. Ne-Yo says "It's a thug and a gentleman" which is very true. It's basically like, let her take a picture with me and she's mine. It's funny, it's cool, whatever.. But it kinda seems to go on forever.
And the official video of Britney's Circus-->
This is my favorite song on the album right now, but I think the Womanizer video was better. I thought this one would be, but I completely lied to myself. Oh well.. It's still good. Kinda reminds me of the Slave video.. Kinda.
K, Enjoy! And if it's finals week for you, good luck! Always check back in if you need a quick break from the studying! ;)

it's about time
We can now add another name to the "weird and not cute names celebs give their babies" list.Bronx Mowgli Wentz was born last night to mama Ashlee Simpson and daddy Pete Wentz.. Finally.
It seems like she's been about to pop for 2 years now.
PS: Mowgli is the boy from Disney's Jungle Book. And their baby shower was Winnie the Pooh themed. Oh, also.. They're wedding was Alice in Wonderland
Disney lovers much? I am, but that's some SERIOUS Disney-ness in one couple.
I just hope the boy's cute, cuz the name sure isn't.

will it be good?

As I reported before, TRL is coming to an end this month. :(
And by end, I mean it's no longer going to be on MTV. They're wiping it out. Yeah. Stupid.
Of course, they've gotta have a huge, fantastic finale. And they're calling it "Total Finale Live."
Soooo clever.........
Originally it sounded like they'd be bringing back a lot of oldies.. but now, as they book people, I'm not so sure. They ARE having the ever so sweet Carson Daly back on to host it, though! :) [Along with current host Damien Fahey.]
So far they've got 50 Cent, Fall Out Boy, Beyonce, and the Backstreet Boys booked. All but BSB have albums coming out soon, so it's no surprise. I wonder if that means Britney and Kanye will also be there. That'd be cool.
I still wish they'd bring back people from the good ol days, though. If you can't tell, I'm a big fan of the 90s. ;)
What do you think? Is it going to be worth tuning into on November 16 at 8:00??

record breaking

If you're a Fall Out Boy fan, you want to be listening to the radio or checking out your favorite radio station this morning!
They're on a mission to break the record for most radio interviews in one day.. and they're goal is at least 60.
All they have to do is talk to 60 stations for 5 minutes each, and always mention the Guinness Book of World Records.
I feel like that doesn't sound like too much.. but we shall see, eh?!
Good luck, guys!!
