watch: wvu featured me in a new alumni series!

WVU Alumni Association has started this awesome idea of featuring people from all over that have cool jobs. I'm already a crazy proud Mountaineer alumna, but when they contacted me to be the second feature, I freaked out a little.

So honored to be one of the first people to kick this off. Enjoy a quick look at me in the studio and my goals for the next couple years.

If you're a Mountaineer with a cool job too, alert me! I'll make sure I alert the right people.

throwback halloween: 12 costumes I've worn

We won't have a Halloween on TBT for a longgg time, so it only makes sense I share these NOW! Many costumes throughout my years... but I so wish I had more pictures in my possession.

PS... remember... it's not nice to make fun of someone's weight adjustments.

100% homemade Jasmine costume in 1994!

Pink Ladies in 1999!

And this says 1994, but it was really like 2002... Britney Spears, duh!

The one time I bought a "slutty" costume... a racergirl... in 2006.

2007: All homemade Tinkerbell!

Also 2007: Superman... because I really liked "Superman'ing that hoe." Seriously.

2008: Snow White! Because there were 7 of my BFF's who lived together and wanted to be the dwarfs.

Also 2008: WVU football player! Because I stole some legit game pants from a friend.

2009: Sherlock Holmes, because I was really enjoying stalking the Real World DC cast.

2010: Twitter Bird, because of the MTV T[witter] J[ockey] competition!

2011: Troll! Because I Love The 90s... even though they clearly didn't only exist in the 90s.

2012: Blue meth, because Breaking Bad was my drug, duh.

And this year, I'm Uncle Sam! Once I get better pictures this weekend, I'll post them!

After looking at these I noticed one thing: I was only something slutty when I shouldn't have been- when I was way too young and way too large. Ya live and ya learn.....

Don't forget to tag me in pics of your costume so I can post em!

a chart: the smartest party schools

Reading articles and clicking through a million galleries: Not for me. Seeing a bunch of information all on one graph: Perfect.

Buzzfeed put together this graph of all the major colleges, and where they stand in the academics and party rankings. I'm proud to say WVU is at the top of one side, and not at the total bottom of the other!

You can make it bigger by clicking on it if you're blind.

I still think WVU should be even further to the right, but whateva. Hataz gon' hate.

UVA #1 overall though when adding up the points?! GTFOH. They wear ties and dresses to football games. [Yeah, that's all I got on them, really.]

I also find it interesting that the most popular squares are the best of both worlds and the worst of both worlds. Sorry boutchya Kent State people.

Now let's get sports mixed in here too. Would that make it 3-D. They have 3-D printers now....

PS: I should probably go back to school to learn about graphs.

photo diary: my annual trip to morgantown

Last week I wondered if it was as "uncool" to go back to college after graduation and party like you're still a student... cuz ya know, the college kids going back to high school parties is like SO LAME.

Too bad I didn't care. I've been going to Morgantown at least once a year SINCE I graduated, and still owning the town.

I didn't plan on posting anything about the trip, but I got some pretty amazing pictures that I just have to share.

This is us olds' "victory pic," after beating the youngins in a game of what I call "Relay For Life." [I know... a drinking game called that... it's just wrong.]

As my BFF Mandy said- You know sweet baby Jesus is a Mountaineer when there's a sunset like that. Perfection.

Corey and Rob's first experience in Morgantown!

Silly school officials putting up "NO OPEN FIRES" signs and acting like we won't change them. #CouchBurnerForLife

Both of those are from my brother's house. Pictures don't even do the views justice most of the time.

I was too busy pretending like I'm not a grown-up with a "professional" job to take crazy party pics, but I like all of those better anyway. I can party any time. I can't burn off all my drinking calories from one night in one single walk home every weekend.

PS: I refuse to acknowledge the outcome of the game, so you shut your mouth, mmmmkay?!

i spy: why gingers shouldn't wear pink

FACT: It's a fashion rule that red heads are not allowed to wear hot pink.

Some people still try to pull it off, or at least give it a try, and sometimes it works, but seriously... for the love of America, if you're going to look like this man, put. the shirt. down.

First of all, there was absolutely no reason for him to be wearing this at a WVU/Louisville game in November. Second- he looks like a damn clown. Literally.

I mean, it is a beautiful sight, if you're into colorful things... but someone should have told him to turn the lights on while he was getting ready.

Sorry I'm so mean to you all the time, gingers... it's all out of love, I swear.

watch: morgantown in motion

This is amazing.

In honor of Game Day in Morgantown, I give to you "Morgantown in Motion." I love that freaking town.

How beautiful is that?! The view at 1:40 is from my senior year house. I was beyond lucky.

Let's gooooooo....!

watch: erin andrews shows wvu love on jimmy kimmel

When College Gameday announced they were going to Morgantown, I was ecstatic, but also pretty nervous. We're known for getting rowdy, and we're damn proud of it... but I don't think we always know when to calm the f down.

Luckily, Erin Andrews confirmed that we do know how to get down and dirty, but also be respectful to ESPN! YAY! Apparently she loved us.. or so it seemed on Jimmy Kimmel.

I'm loving her more and more... She's pretty awesome.

And Morgantown really did look awesome on Gameday last Saturday. Not on the field [obviously], but the weekend-long show was fantastic. Here's to hoping they head up the mountains again!

watch: morgantown ignites in celebration of bin laden's death

I don't want to get too much into how I feel about this historic event besides saying that while I don't really feel any relief from all of this and I'm terrified of what's next, I love the unity that is felt throughout the nation [and on Twitter] last night and today. I'm even dressed like it's the 4th of July.

I sat in my room alone, watching DC go nuts, and hearing all about Morgantown being insane. I wanted to be anywhere but where I was, but I have to live vicariously through the internet.

This video captures the meaning of being an American Mountaineer.

Absolutely insane. Still a ton of mixed feelings, but damn proud to be an American Mountaineer after seeing that.

watch/listen: d-why's "crazy world"

I've known D-Why for a few years now [he's a fellow Mountaineer and even won Homecoming King, HOLLA!], he's been featured on my "Local Limelight" about a year ago, but for whatever reason he's bojangled on getting an interview/feature on this site!

He's not bojanglin' when it comes to his hustle, though. I'm pretty proud of him, really.

I was ESPECIALLY proud when I saw this video. It's just really good. ANYONE will like it because even I like this song.. and it takes more than just someone who can spit a rap for me to like their "underground" song. [Yes, even if it's a friend of mine, I'm not going to share their music with you if I think it blows.]

Anyway, check it out! He's gone from Morgantown to NYC and he's KILLIN' IT. Can't wait to see it when he really takes off.

He's a crazy guy who's got a lot to let out into the world. Check out more of his stuff and show him some love! I already saw some people sharing this on Facebook and I have no idea how they know him, but I'll take full credit I'm not mad about it.

watch: worst commercial ever is from morgantown

If you know nothing about Morgantown, WV, it's pretty unfortunate that you know nothing of 6'6" 240, arguably the best rapper alive.

Woah. That's a lie. He's pretty damn terrible, yet he made a "Gold N Blue" song [and continues to switch up the lyrics every year] about the Mountaineers that gets tons of radio time and people chanting it on game day.

To give you a little taste of how he is and how the town seems to believe the "best" comment, check out this commercial. It's legit. It airs on TV. SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE, thought it was a good idea.

HOW HAVE I NOT SEEN THIS BEFORE NOW?!

I'll never know the answer to that question, but I'm really glad that my hickey contest havin' BFF just showed it to me.

Just... wow. and WHY?!?!

watch: west virginia girls

OMG. I've been in one of those "help me with some motivation please" moods, and this video just became my muse.

Lady Bunny, some famous drag queen, does a parody of California Gurls.... about the fine ladies of WV.

Oh, what a proud Mountaineer I am.

watch eTV: wvu cribs

Time for an EB flashback video!

My senior year at WVU didn't include writing papers or taking finals, it included making sweet projects, videos, etc.

One of my final projects was for my Final Cut class and I could do anything I wanted as long as I used certain effects. SO- I made my own version of MTV Cribs- "WVU Cribs!"

I show my part of the "house" about five minutes in, but the whole thing is worth your time.

Can I go back to Morgantown? Like... now? Kthanks.

watch: the morgantown juggalo

O. M. G.

Morgantown peeps- Meet your God juggalo.

I honestly can't say anything else until you watch this girl yell at everyone who's ever talked smack.

[I recommend going well into the video for the funny parts. Like... 3:30 in. This girl is just going off about... well.. NOTHING.]

[YouTube actually pulled this video off.. Thank goodness for College Humor!]

She's real. A real person. Living in the amazing town of Morgantown, WV where I am proud to say I spent 4 years of my life.

Because she left me rather speechless, I'll rely on some tweets I got when I posted this video on Twitter over the weekend from my Ex-White Rapper BFF and a certain Texas ninja follower.

I hope her autograph is gotten. I want it. I also want to give her a hug. If you're reading this Morgantown Juggalo, please email me. Let's chat.

PS: If you're amazed like me, feel free to waste way too much time watching her other awesome videos such as her "Big Problems" series and "Fat to Fighter" series.

watch: dasean butler's operation comeback

You know by now that I'm a WVU Mountaineer... I'm obviously a gigantic fan.

I'm also a big fan of Da'Sean Butler... for obvious reasons, and just because he's a great guy and very deserving of an awesome future.

I met him and hung out with a couple of the players a couple of years ago [which I'm 98% positive he probably has no memory of, but that's okay] and he just seemed so humble and level-headed. I heart that.

Anyway, if you didn't know- He got injured in the Final Four and it was probably one of the most emotional things I have ever watched in sports.

Now he's trying to get better so he can get drafted into the NBA.

Just like every other video I've watched about him, this one is awesome and emotional in every way... And you'll like it whether you're a fan or not.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for him big time! I'm sure he doesn't need it, but I shall do it anyway.

watch: wvu basketball players are hilarious

If you're a Mountaineer, or a fan of WVU, you can't sit still right now knowing the Sweet 16 tip-off is not far away.

Neither can I... And I think it's the perfect time to share the videos everyone has been talking about.

The Men's Basketball players are freakin' hilarious. I've hung out with them before and thought the same thing, but I don't think I really had any idea. Just.... Watch:

If that's what gets them pumped and gets their head in the game, I'm all for it! I just hope they don't become some video bloggers and not win tonight. Elite 8= necessary.

watch: the mountaineers invade new york

Normally I don't post Mountaineer specific videos or things, but this one I have to share.

Today begins the Big East Tournament, and many of you probably know, and I'm sure you know I'm a Mountaineer myself.

My ex-rapper BFF now works for WV Illustrated [which is an awesome website, b-t-dubbs] and created this video to get all of you WVU fans PUMPED UP!

It's pretty freakin' good, and it made me laugh. I may be biased, but I think anyone could enjoy it.

So can we say it together now?! LET'S GOOOOOOOO......!!!!

MOUNTAINEERS!!!

wvu proves its bad reputation

For years, the West Virginia Mountaineer fans have been considered to be one of the worst in the nation. As a fellow Mountaineer, I know first hand exactly why this reputation has come to be.

To watch a video from the Backyard Brawl this week and find out how WVU fans plan to get classy again, read more from Mikey P!

the sweetest pong tables in america

Every college student has seen a good amount of really sweet pong tables. Many of you probably think that you might even have one of the best.

Well... Chances are... You're wrong.... Unless you own one of these.

Co-Ed Magazine shared 180 badass beer pong tables, and I'm not going to sit here and show them all to you [duh] but I'll show you some of my favorites! [Maybe a little biased on some... whatever.]

These two totally should have been included... My white boy rapper BFF's real Mountaineer turf table, and my Pool Plinko Pong, of course!

I love the multi-sided tables and the ones with sweet lights. Whenever I get my own house, I shall make a combination of the two.

Thank you beer pong geniuses for your inspiration.

watch: dancing inflatable mascot

This thing just might be better than the YMCA man at WVU.... Maybe.

I really wanted it to keep going! But just when I thought it was done, he goes and rams the ref! OMG talk about a great way to get the ref to STFU when you're mad at him, right?!

They should get an inflatable Mountaineer in Morgantown... It'd be better than the girl. [Yes, I'm sorry, but I'm a hater of the female Mountaineer.]

monday morning football

I think I want to start doing football posts every Monday morning. Not necessarily a reflection on the weekend's games [mostly because as of right now, I don't have much good to reflect on over here...] but just random stories about football. Keep an eye out for these suckers.

Today's topic: Owen Schmitt, starting Fullback, Seattle Seahawks.

I like him for a couple reasons: He's from NoVA, he crushes face masks, he sports a mohawk, and oh yeah... HE'S A MOUNTAINEER!!

I also like him because he does crazy things like what he did yesterday to get his team pumped up.

What man in their right mind would bloody himself like that before having to play football?! Well, Owen would. He said it didn't even hurt. He's a freakin' monster.

It worked, though!

"That was, man, gruesome but beautiful at the same time. I don't know if that's possible. But that got us going. Myself, D.D. Lewis, we were sitting there saying, 'That's a mad man right there. That's a guy you want on your side.' A man willing to bloody his own face, you know how much he's willing to put on the line."
-Seahawks Lineback Lofa Tatupu

We could totally use someone like him in Washington. I'm sure he wouldn't mind coming back this way. He could get the team pumped up, do ridiculous things, but never get a bad rep. Class act.
