the photography of a sky-walker is insanely breathtaking

Woah. These photos are beyond incredible. I can't even think of a word for them.

They're from Marat Dupri in Russia, where apparently their photo trend isn't planking, it's climbing on insanely high things and capturing the surroundings. [Side note: Their trends are clearly way cooler than ours.]

Just LOOK at these!:

Those first two... holy CRAP. I do a lot for videos, and I'd probably feel the same way about pictures, but that's pretty effing scary.

Bravo, Russia. You win.

watch: first look at "one day on earth"

Remember a few months back, they asked everyone to shoot some video during one specific day and upload it to YouTube? It was for a movie called "One Day on Earth" that will literally show things that happened on that day, all over the planet.

I'm freakin' pumped. Even within one town so many things always happen on any given day... Imagine how huge this could be WORLDWIDE.

Here's the first look at the trailer:

SO. MUCH. CULTURE! Crazy. The people putting this together are putting in so much time and work, but it's going to be so worth it. I can't wait.

nifty: the world's longest bridge in china

I remember hearing about the plans for this bridge four years ago, and I'm in shock that it's already done! Those Chinese peeps know how to get it done.

It's the world longest bridge. It's 26.2 miles long over the Jiaozhou Bay.

I'm not going to lie... I don't know if I'd be able to drive over that thing. It looks like it's never going to end! There's no sign of anything in sight! Yikes.

It is exciting in the sense that we'll be able to see the possibility of driving over longer bodies of water, though.... if you're brave.

more advertising to make america look lame

A billboard company in the Netherlands had an open billboard that they wanted to be taken immediately. So what'd they do? They decided to have a male stripper do the dirty work for them.

Okay, he's probably not a professional stripper, but each day they changed it and he had less and less clothing.

I don't know what the outcome was, but I betchya it scared someone! It definitely caught their attention!

Because I do actually wanna see such a thing, I will say this again- American advertisers, step yo' game up!

watch: french commercial proves america is prude... again

As much as I think we're stepping our game up with subtle comments in the news and in commercials, every other country seems to know how to mix sex into anything.

This French commercial teaches you a very valuable lesson:

Imagine hearing that as a ten year old girl. I mean, you definitely start figuring things out in Elementary school these days. [Yeah, it's true.. Sorry parents, but I've had some 4th graders ask some awkward questions.]

Step yo' game up, American advertisers! I want to laugh!

whiskey is now available in can form

Just when the world thought Four Loko was OMG SO CRAZYY@#*&, it's been topped.

Scottish whiskey [which some Scots are arguing is NOT the same thing as Scotch because it's not as good] is now available in can form.

You have to travel a bit, but you can stay in-continent if you're in the US. It's available in South America!

They say it's ideal for 3 people to share, but let's be honest, cans are not made for sharing. This is basically death on a convenience store shelf.

watch: super inappropriate children's programming in belgium

When I say this is something you should watch, I mean it. When I say it's something inappropriate, I mean it's REALLY NSFW. Save it for later if that's where you're at. [Unless, of course, you work at a cool place like me.]

This claims to be from a children's program in Belgium......

Uhh... eh... hmmm... I.... I'm speechless. I'm not a prude by any means, but if I saw my little 4 year old watching this, I'm not sure what I'd do. I think I'd probably just do the old school faint hard on the floor.

Yea.... Still speechless....

UPDATE: My dear RWDC producer BFF did some research and found out that this is actually from a comedy show in Belgium. Phew. Still- I don't see it being aired on any American TV besides HBO after hours.

nifty: the bubbletree bubble tent

Have you ever wanted to just live outside? Or maybe have your own little bubble to live in? Well now they have these things called Bubble Huts that can make that possible.

These tents blow up and give you ample room inside and make outside noises almost nonexistent.

Yes, they're see-through. And maybe some of you are like "OMG PEOPLE CAN SEE ME I NEED MY PRIVACY," but there are ways to fix that. OR, just pitch the tent somewhere a little more private.

This seriously seems like the most peaceful thing ever to me. Do you not wanna just climb in and cozy up on that beautiful furniture and stare out into the wilderness?!

Sure, people can see in, but I'd feel like I was in my own world. And since it's portable, imagine going hiking or something for a week and staying on an empty beach one night, then on a mountaintop the next, then by a waterfall after that... HEAVEN!

Plus, there are different options! You can get a small one, or up to a few rooms! And the way they're decorated tells me there's plenty of space.

The downfall: They cost a pretty penny. About $12,000 to own one for life, or over $600 a night to rent.

If I had money, this would absolutely be worth an investment in my books. I love the outdoors, but I hate bugs, and all the dumb stuff that comes with it. I'd love to constantly wake up "outside," while staying comfortable.

So, seriously, Sugar Daddy, WHERE THE EFF YOU AT?! Mark this on your "Get for eBeth" list, please. Then we can snuggle all night long just like that happy couple.

watch: rush hour on bikes

Luckily, my days of rush hour traffic are over [for now]... but trust me... I won't be forgetting about the horrors that were 95 and the Beltway...

That being said, it's really a shame people don't ride bikes more. Tons of people ride bikes around here and I think it's one of the solutions.... Then again, it would just make rush hour look a lot different... A lot like this:

That's actually rush hour in the Netherlands... Dang. It would really suck if they were all cars.

Let's take notes and do what's best for everyone, including the environment, shall we?!

get super close to a lion attack

The Werribee Open Range Zoo in Melbourne, Australia is trying to get everyone as close to the animal action as possible.

They're getting you so close, that a lion will jump up onto the hood of the safari car you're sitting in. Yes, a real-life lion... Baited by raw meet on the hood.

Why don't these people look scared for their lives?! It's not because they're the bravest people in Australia.

The zoo came up with quite the clever idea: Putting a super hard, very clear glass wall in the lion exhibit that makes it possible for you to be right in the action, without the possibility of the lion getting to you.

I LOVE this idea! It's a lot like aquariums, I feel. The seals always come right up to the glass.

I still don't think I'd be able to handle the big thing jumping up onto the hood, though... No matter how much of a crazy cat lady I am.

Now... Can we bring this to the National Zoo?!?

watch: a very whimsical weiner

Duh: Other countries have way more X-rated commercials, TV shows, etc.

I never expected to see anything like this video I am about to show you exist period, let alone broadcast on television.

I don't know that it's good to put on this here main page, so click here to watch it and be prepared to have your jaw drop. [Hmmm... That could be taken... nevermind.]

please no nfl in london

If you didn’t already know, Roger Goodell loves having teams play over in Europe. Why you ask? Nobody knows!

It started two years ago with the Giants facing the Dolphins, and again last year when the Saints beat the chargers 37-32. I guess people over in London love it because they completely pack the stadium to watch 60 minutes of high intensity football.

And now Goodell want to make it two regular season games over in London for the 2010 season! Are you kidding me?! I can’t stand this.

nifty: sweetest bathtubs ever

Taking a bath is pretty great, but not when you have an ordinary, small bathtub that you can barely fit in. It pretty much defeats the whole purpose of relaxation.

Before today, I thought an average jacuzzi was all I really desired in my future home. Now I've seen these bathtubs, which are probably the coolest in the whole world, and I have yet another thing I want to have in my house when I become rich. [Which will probably won't happen until I'm 98 years old...]

Made of gold?! Oh, okay!

Not only can you see-through it, but it has settings to make you energized, or relaxed.. Whatever you want.

I've always loved pretty colors.

Oh so stylish!

Imagine this in a nice cottage... So neat!

Why not have a couple HD TVs attached?! It's also got some gold and crystals in it.

For the "artsy" type... Even though it reminds me of a bong.

A sparkly high-heel!

Did you know bathtubs are on walls now? It goes from shower to tub in no time flat.

Stylish, wood, pearls. It's like taking a bath inside a nutshell.

A chaise lounge turned into a bathtub, equipped with waterfall.

IN-GROUND bathtub?! Does this not look like the most relaxing thing you've ever seen?!

Now I want to go take a bath, even in my small tub. Too bad I don't have Mr. Bubbles.

watch: ukraine's got talent kids

I have no idea what this show is really called in English, nor do I have any clue what they're saying during the video, but that's not the point.

If you skip through all of the jibber jabber that will have your brain screaming WTF, you'll see a 6 year old and a 7 year old do some incredibly awesome and hard "tricks."

Some of the things they are doing are moves that olympic gymnasts have to do in their routines! It's absolutely incredible. That little boy has to be the strongest little kid I have ever seen in my life.

Gah... The life of talented little kids. I wish I had been a prodigy of sorts.

i need to visit: the coolest pools in the world

Ya know how sometimes you go to someone's house and they have a really awesome pool and you get super jealous? Yeah, well... Tell them they're not cool until they have a pool like one of these.

They're the 10 most fascinating pools in the world, and it's now a life goal of mine to swim in every single one of them. [I really need to write down my life goals. This blog has given me at least 100...]

Global warming advertising pool [India]

Coolest infinity pool ever. [Taipa Island Macau]

Deepest indoor pool- Over 33 meters deep! [Belgium]

Playboy pool [Las Vegas]

Is it morbid of me to think this blood-red pool is pretty sweet?! [Chaweng Beach]

Hanging over the edge! Sweet! Imagine looking down through the bottom! [Dallas]

Largest indoor pool equipped with fake volcano and waves [Miyazaki]

"Devil's Pool"- 360 feet tall! [between Zambia and Zimbabwe]

Largest pool- over 20 acres big!! [Chile]

Most crowded wave pool! [Tokyo] I don't see how this could be fun, but it'd certainly be an experience. Especially because it's probably a ton of.. Mmmm... Gettin' it on, if you will.

So who's ready for a road trip?!?! LET'S GOOOO!

morning hangover 092209

Happy Tuesday, y'all! Let's get this day started... Shall we?!

  • If you're going to steal a car, I don't recommend falling asleep in it while going through a drive-thru.
  • If you don't know where to stash your coccaine, your best bet is to give it to your 4 year old kid, tell him it's candy, and send him to daycare... That way he can share it.
  • Forget the matchmaking sights with profiles... Try CrazyBlindDate that will set you up on a blind date on super short notice! It's pretty sweet, really. Also pretty crazy.
  • There are several things women try to catch a guy's attention... These are 5 of them, and why they don't really work.
  • Ladies, have you heard of the "Hollywood"?! It's even more [or should I say less?] than the Brazilian!
  • It's no secret the media has a habit of skewing things every now and then.... But to completely stage something for a news story... That's no bueno.
  • I've posted numerous varieties of this as they've surfaced, but no matter how much I hate the song, babies dancing to "Single Ladies" is adorable.
  • Sometimes your favorite celebrity isn't Hollywood's favorite person to work with. Maybe you should double check their true reputations right now.
  • I want to punch whoever got this tattoo in the face... And maybe push them off the top of a very tall building.
  • Building great things with Legos is becoming a trend again. Next up: a Cello. It plays just like a normal one would!
  • Another foreign advertisement that's a little to PG for the US, but perfect for love, e.
  • If this isn't the coolest pet reptile I've ever seen, I don't know what is. It's a Spiderman lizard!
  • Really?! The new fashion is going to be wearing horns?!
  • When is the perfect time to announce your frustration with being a 56 year old virgin? A PTA meeting.

  • Bored? Why not set your hair on fire and take a couple shots! Yeah! GOOD IDEA!

Everyone have a fabulous Tuesday and remember- We're almost to the hump! That means we're practically almost to the weekend!
