I forget where I've heard this song. There must have been a movie or I included it on my Tunes on Tuesday or something. Anyway, it's Tim Halperin's "She Runs."
That's not really what matters.
His music video is a one-take video with changing scenes and everything! It's... amazing. I like the direction music videos are going with their creativity.
SO GOOD, right?!
And just in case you wanna know how cool it is to make this all happen, there's a behind the scenes video:
I have no idea the reasoning behind this, besides maybe to get it viral, but the Simpsons decided to join the crazy phenomenon of lip dubbing! Ah!
Instead of the usual intro last night, they swapped it out for this:
Ke$ha is an interesting choice of song, but I obviously don't hate it! It's pretty hilarious.
It also makes me want to do one of these videos even more! I wonder if the peeps over at Candy95 will be down to make one when I get over there... Hmmm... We can only hope!
Yes!! Another lip dub video with 100s of people being involved!
Boston University is the latest to jump on the viral bandwagon we call LipDub. 120 students got together to sing along with the Jackson 5.
I'm a little disappointed in the video quality, but other than that, it's not bad! It's totally hard to tell what's going on throughout the video, but I still love that people can put these together. It takes way more effort than a flash mob!
So bravo, BU! The dance party at the end looked fun, too. Next time please hire a new camera guy... Thanks.
20 great signs from the National Equality March on Sunday.
Making all of the Jersey boys hard: Ed Hardy beer.
There is lip gloss that tastes like Cheetos... For the fat kid in you.
This fireplace was declared the world's most beautiful object.
A groovy graph that shows which drugs are used in each region.
Japanese spazzes in slow-mo.... I think you'll really like around the 4:00 mark.
I'll never understand how people have enough time to create these things, but it's freakin' awesome. Stop motion video with cardboard bugs:
Another LipDub: Backstreet Boys version. At first I thought it was lame, then there was the girl who didn't do anything, and the climbing on the desk. Priceless.
The new show Community... Remixed. [It's a really great show, for the record.
Apparently these "one take" videos that I have become obsessed with are called "lip dubs." Apparently I'm a little late to jump on the ball. Whatever. Better late than never, right?!
Anyway... The KIIS FM staff in LA made this video to Miley Cyrus' "See You Again" and I fully enjoy it.
As soon as I get a real job [which will hopefully be in the next two weeks- keep your fingers crossed, people!] I plan on doing this, fo sho.
I never really knew about this fascinating thing we shall call "one-take videos." A group of people gets together and creates a video that is not edited and is done in one take.
You probably think "yeah.... Uhhh.. Okay.. I don't get it... Nor do I care to really watch this video."
You're wrong, my friend. You should watch this video that was done by a school in Quebec because you will enjoy it. You will also want to create something just like it. I know this for a fact.
That was awesome, wasn't it?! Am I right or wrong?! If I'm wrong- please keep it to yourself... I'm not in the mood to get my heartbroken.
172 people were involved in this and they planned and executed it all in just a couple hours! The timing was perfect for everything, and it all looked super cool!
I can figure out how they did it, but the planning is the crazy part... Along with them all ending up in the same place at the end.
My gears are going a mile a minute in my brain right now... Trying to come up with something similar. No luck so far.
