Another week, another episode, another Real World DC: As We Saw It podcast! This means you've gotten four new ones in the past week. You're welcome.
This week: We needed to catch up with one of the faves, Mike!
Why was the conversation with his mom so hard? How does he feel about the drama of this week?! How did he stay out of it, or what did they not show?! They're all questions he's answering for us!
FYI: All of our iTunes subscribers got to listen to this super early! Make sure you subscribe so you can get that privelage, too! Just sayin'. ;)
Alright, ladies. NEWSFLASH: Waxing your bikini completely bare= SO yesterday!
Nowadays, that's only step one of making it pretty. Step two: Putting gems all over it.
Get it? Vajazzling. Bedazzle+Vajayjay. Wow.
Sure, it's pretty when things sparkle... But remember those stick on gem tattoos from back in the day?! Imagine those down there. Imagine doing things with them down there. Uhhh... Uncomfortable! For BOTH parties, right?!
We can thank Jennifer Love Hewitt for this fancy new fashion. Ya know, Party of Five the chic we haven't heard from in a while?!
I don't get it. If I want to sparkle, I'll get some freakin' glitter. I hear glitter is in these days. Hmmmm...!!
Would you do it?!
I bet people do it as a way to cover up their herpes. ....What? Nevermind. I didn't say it.
We're bacckkkk for another episode and another chat!
I've really enjoyed each week's chat, so we're keeping it up! This time we will be monitoring comments a little more because of special guests feeling uncomfortable last week.
Same rules apply, though! Get there early and be one of the first 25 and you will be unmoderated [as long as you don't say anything inappropriate!]
As for special guests, it's unknown! I hope to have some of the girlfriends in the chat, but the roommates will be in New York! Who knows... Maybe they'll all come join together!
Don't forget: SPOILER ALERT throughout the whole chat!
Oh. Em. Gee! We have a SUPER-Bonus episode of the Real World DC: As We Saw It this week! We've already given you two, and now it's time to hear from the one guy we have yet to hear from: Ty Ruff.
Chris and I were both excited to call him, for different reasons, and I think it's because we knew it would be an entertaining chat.
That's exactly what it is. A lot less formal than usual, and a lot more laughs. Meet Ty. The real Ty. Ty the lover, not the fighter.
Ohh, Ty baby... You're silly. Thanks for chatting with us! I will now tell everyone to leave you alone and stop yelling at you.
Tomorrow is Thursday which means ANOTHER podcast! Woo boy! Join our chat tonight to help decide who we should talk to!
As you should know by now, every Wednesday morning from 8-11am I host my own radio show with Party934! I play a lot of 90s music, talk about a lot of fun things, and keep it entertaining for everyone.
Today I started my "Local Limelight" segment. Each week I will play a song from a local artist and ask you to rate it!
My first subject: Eddie Smotkin. His song: "Abe Lincoln" The description: "Perfect for the soundtrack to your keg party."
You be the judge! If it's HOTT, maybe I'll play it again! Maybe I'll even turn this into a competition! It all depends on you.
Thanks for your input! Feel free to leave more feedback in the comments box below! I'd love it.
I can't remember how long ago it was that I posted the video of the guy who had painted Aubrey HO'Day on Photoshop, but I do remember how freakin' cool it was and I've wondered why no more have popped up.
Well, I've found some more!
This guy, Nico Di Mattia, is basically a Photoshop god and has a whole YouTube channel of his "speed paintings."
The most popular, and probably my favorite, is one of Megan Fox.
On a scale of 1-10, the awesomeness is absolutely at a 10. I can't draw on paper, let alone the computer!
This one of Michael Jackson is also pretty amazing:
Someone teach me to be amazing, please? This "job" shows me more and more how ordinary I am. Hmph.
This is one of the most awkward videos I have ever seen.
Ya know the feeling when you have to find a bathroom like... pronto?! Don't lie. It's happened to you. And stop acting like this is gross that I'm talking about it. Fact: It happens to everyone.
Poor reporter lady had that feeling at the wrong time: When she was interviewing someone. Instead of finding a bathroom, she took a risk, and straight pooped herself.
No... Scratch that. She dia'd herself.
Poor lady. She's never going to live that down. White pants, too?! Yikes. I feel like I'm watching someone's nightmare.
Good afternoon and happy National Tortilla Chip Day! The reason for the later Hangover today: I have my radio show on Wednesday mornings! Did you listen? What are your thoughts?
I'm so mad at myself for not finding these videos funny when I first saw them. I now have a completely different outlook on life thanks to Hitler and these fantastic captions.
It doesn't matter what they're about or if they make any sense. Someone, somewhere, is making me laugh with a video of Hitler.
What?!
Today, he's talking about how terribly disappointed he is in Canada's hockey team.
He's mad USA beat them?! Rude. We're obviously da bomb at hockey!
Alright, I know nothing about hockey. I still found this fantastic. You did too.
Everyone's been asking: What's going to happen to the Real World DC house?! I've gone by it, it's all gutted out, but it doesn't look like anything is set up.
Well, it looks like one of the businesses entering the corner mansion will be a restaurant!
They say it has great potential for outdoor seating [though I'm not exactly sure where they're talking about having more than two tables] and it'll bring lots of people wanting to finally make it into the house!
One thing is for sure: If they do turn it into a restaurant, you can bet your bottom dollar that I will absolutely be there on opening day to finally make it into that freakin' house.
Who cares if it's not the same as it was during the summer? Maybe I can get Ty or Mike to take me on a date of sorts.
Welcome back, Tuesday! What do you have for us and our iPods today?!
Cascada--> Pyromania
They sure do know how to make songs that'll have you dancing, eh?! She's totally hott, too. Interesting video, I enjoy it all.
Ludacris ft. Nicki Minaj--> My Chick Bad
Mannn, I loved Luda until A) I saw him at the station today, sunglasses on, clearly acting "too cool" and B) I didn't like this song. Hmph. Luda-fail.
Taio Cruz--> Break Your Heart
How nice of homeboy to tell us he's probably going to break our hearts ahead of time, right?! He seems a little typical of the time right now, but probably because he's normally a songwriter and producer. Not bad, though.
Taylor Swift--> Today Was A Fairytale
Another T Swift song. She's not going anywhere. Hmph. Of course it's from the Valentine's Day movie I still haven't seen. Of course it's about a fairytale. Of course it's about falling in love in a dreamworld.
Apollo Drive--> Papercut
I enjoy their voice! A bit of a depressing song, but I like how it's all related to a papercut. I don't hate it, that's for sure.
Chris Brown--> Sing Like Me
Oh man. This is one of the songs on his album I skip when I'm listening to it. That's a shame. There are definitely way better songs. I'm sure listening to it on the radio will make me like it more, though.
Colbie Caillat--> I Never Told You
Ya know, I really like her. I didn't expect her to stick around, but I hoped she would, and though she's not making a million #1 hits, I like her songs! This is no exception. It's really pretty.
FeFe Dobson--> I Want You
I totally didn't expect her to look like that, but this is a really fun song! It's nothing crazy, amazingly good, but it's definitely enjoyable and singable.
Kim Sozzi--> Feel Your Love
Meh. My least favorite song so far today, I think...
Why not take a family portrait as your favorite board game? Clue, anyone?
Today we learn about boobs. [Is it true if they itch, they're growing?!]
RIP Kurt Cobain. Here is what you'd look like today.
No one better to learn about Internet porn from than Sesame Street.
That's all for now, my darlings! Have a fantabulous morning!
love, elizabethany
PS! Don't forget to listen to me on the radio tomorrow morning at 8am! I'll be on Party934 playing any requests and your favorite 90s music from 8-11! [Who knows... I might even be wasted again.]
We all know that reality TV isn't very real, that fictional series and movies have a decent amount of special effects in them to make them work... But they're all a lot more fake than I thought, apparently.
This video shows how often the green screens are used, even for the littlest things.
I can't believe it! It's like all of my dreams have been crushed. I thought they really filmed in all these places and I wondered "how come there are never scenes being filmed in DC?!"
Hmph. I guess I'm just a dumbass. I should probably thank the green screen for being awesome and making TV awesome, but I'd rather be bitter that I didn't know all of this.
Apparently there's something new playing cupid these days: The Olympic gold medal!
Nastia Liukin won it in the All-Around for gymnastics in 2008, and now she's dating Evan Lysacek! [He's the first one to win a gold for men's figure skating in 22 years!] Apparently it's been going on since last summer! Looks like the world missed the memo.
When I first saw him, the first thing that came to mind was "Woah. He looks just like a Ken doll. I hope he's dating Barbie!"
Well, I think he is. Look at the resemblance!
Ohh, the irony! It's only right that Olympic gold medal Barbie date Olympic gold medal Ken. Too bad they don't come in the same box... I'm more of a money-saver, all-in-one-deal kinda girl.
A lot of people thought Chris and I wouldn't be talking to Erika on The Real World DC: As We Saw It because of all the haterade we were throwing her way.
False. We talked to her! And I'm pretty sure we'll talk to her again.
Maybe we all got off on the wrong foot. That's something I was willing to find out. We called Erika and let her talk about the things everyone's been talking about and set the record straight.
Since I'm a terrible liar, I can promise you that I'm not lying when I say I'm glad Erika joined us to talk about it all! Everyone needs their chance to tell their side of things, and it's about time we took down the fence between Erika and the bloggers.
Thank you Erika, and thank you everyone for listening, subscribing, downloading, etc! Stay tuned... We may have even more in store for you this week... ;)
Everyone likes to watch a good fight, let's be honest. There's nothin' better than seeing two guys square up for 30 minutes before someone finally lays a punch, or a girl pullin' out another girl's weave.
For some reason, I think it's just as entertaining to watch some animals fight, too. Of course it's more typical for some, but this video of Koala Bears wanting to kill each other has me LOLing.
The one is teasing him and clearly just pissing him off! He's probably the annoying little brother or something. Rude. You can only push someone so far before they explode, little guy! [I guess that's probably what he was going for, though.]
I always thought Koalas were so nice and cute and happy. Apparently they can get feisty too!
