Oh man. The second to last week of The Real World: DC! As much as I'm starting to get a little depressed, it's not slowing us down!

This week for our podcast, we talked to Erika! Though she wasn't on the episode, she was on The Sh!t They Shoulda Shown, and definitely seemed to add to the fun.

I wanted to find out all the pranks that went down that weren't shown, who was behind them all, and who was too much of a p-word to break the rules a little. She also helped to give us the Guide to Livin' It Up and Breakin' the Rules on The Real World.

the real world dc: as we saw it, mike speaks his mind

I know, I know... We're a half a week late. My apologies. [If you must know, there are some technical difficulties going on forcing us to use Skype instead of the studios, which makes it a bit harder.]

Anyway, it's time for another The Real World DC: As We Saw It podcast!

Last week's episode was crazy! Erika finally left, and Andrew stepped foot in the White House! [Did anyone else laugh uncontrollably at him throughout the whole episode?] We also did our usual chat, despite my somewhat intoxicated state thanks to St. Patty's Day.

Erika must be in hiding or something because she's been MIA since Wednesday, so we called Mike so he could get everything off his chest. I mean.. Let's be real. We know he was not very happy that Andrew saw Obama before he did.



By the way, he said his meeting/interview/audition went well! Everyone keep your fingers crossed for him and annoy him with "good luck" x 34987. :) I'm sure he'll love it.

Who should we talk to next week?? The episode will be about Josh and Mike mostly, from what I hear, but we haven't talked to Callie, Ashley, Emily, or Ty very much... What's your vote?!

the real world dc: as we saw it, meet pandrea!

Another week of The Real World DC: As We Saw It!! Sorry we were MIA last week, but NYC and the reunion show taping were calling. [Even though thanks to a certain someone's phone call to the production company, we got DENIED entry.]

We had to finish talking to Andrew, AKA Panda, and then find out all the deets on his new girlfriend, Andrea! Because they're living in a celebrity world, I'm glad someone in our MTV live chat came up with "Pandrea."

Listen to what happened in the ambulance, how the two met, and why Andrea should be taken seriously... despite her curvy model figure and appearance.

[You'll have to excuse the awkward, not so hott quality of this episode. Unfortunately the studio was unavailable for me to use, so we had to be a little ghetto and use Skype.]

getting ready for tonight's chat

Yesterday I finally told you what I've been wanting to blurt out for the past two weeks: I'm hosting the weekly LIVE Real World DC chat on MTV.com tonight at 9:45pm EST!

Some things you should know before the time comes:

• Everything will go as normal. Chris and Lance will both be in the chat giving their thoughts on what they saw while the crew was in DC. Polls will happen. Pictures will be shared. Videos will be shown.
  
• So far Josh and his band, Wicked Liquid, are confirmed to join us in the chat!!! I'm super pumped. Those boys are awesome and hilarious and deserve a lot more credit than they're given.
• Callie is a maybe/probably for tonight! She's chatted with us before, and she knows tonight is going to be bigger and better! I think it depends on her schedule.
• Andrew and a special someone will also be chatting!! Your favorites!
  
• Like I said before, everyone is going to be moderated except for myself, Chris, Lance, and the cast. Please be patient if your comments aren't sent through the second you hit send. They will be sent ASAP. You will be heard.

Alright, it's time to reveal my big news that totally gets you in on the action! [And finally relieves the pain down there that I gave you yesterday.]

Happy Monday, peeps! As you know, we've been doing these special editions of The Real World DC, As We Saw It podcasts on Mondays whenever we can so you can get an even more in depth look into the show!

A lot of people thought Chris and I wouldn't be talking to Erika on The Real World DC: As We Saw It because of all the haterade we were throwing her way.

False. We talked to her! And I'm pretty sure we'll talk to her again.

Maybe we all got off on the wrong foot. That's something I was willing to find out. We called Erika and let her talk about the things everyone's been talking about and set the record straight.



Since I'm a terrible liar, I can promise you that I'm not lying when I say I'm glad Erika joined us to talk about it all! Everyone needs their chance to tell their side of things, and it's about time we took down the fence between Erika and the bloggers.

the real world dc: as we saw it, week 8!

Another episode has been seen around the world, but now it's time to talk about it with the cast, no editing, no professionals, just real people.

Last night's episode was a great mix of a couple different stories, thank GOODNESS. As many of the roommates said, it was absolutely one of the best episodes of this season thus far.

Also exciting: The introduction of Wicked Liquid.

It only made sense to talk to Josh this week to have him give a deeper look into the band and respond to all of the haters that have been all over Twitter, my chat, and my YouTube.



BTW- We recorded two more podcasts tonight with the roommates that we have not yet talked to! They'll be put up sporatically in the next week, so stay tuned!

the real world dc: as we saw it, week 7!

Ah! We're officially halfway through this season!!! I'm sad! It's amazing how many things they're not showing!

Also, FYI- I posted about the fight that happened last night on Metromix on August 18th, which is only about a month after they got to DC! They were here for another two months after that, yet we're going to have to squeeze 2/3 of their time here into half of the season! It's a little ridiculous.

AND! SPOILER ALERT! It was not that long after that a certain someone left the house.

Needless to say, I'm a little unhappy about the timeline of events right now. There's way too much still to show, and not nearly enough time. They're wasting too much time on silly things, such as the fights last night.

This week I decided it was absolutely necessary to get Emily on the phone. She was a neutral party in the fights, so who did she side with in the end!? Plus... How does she feel about the ridiculousness that is her and Ty?!

She's definitely one of my faves from the house, so take a listen! If there's someone that every guy imagines as their dream girl, I have a feeling it's Miss Emily Schromm.



Unfortunately Chris was uber sick and couldn't join this week! :( Fingers crossed he's feeling better by next week! It feels weird talking to myself!

Ahh! We're ONE EPISODE away from the halfway mark!
This week we finally saw a little more job action, but more importantly- less Ty/Emily, and a pretty yucky fight between Ashley and Andrew.

wasting time: jerzifying yourself

When your "job" is to search all over the Internet for fun things to share all day, you definitely get sidetracked. Luckily, it's normally a good sign and that it's something worth sharing.

What I discovered this morning was something I knew would be pure gold the second I found it. Then, I wasted almost an hour playing around with the options that is what I will call the Jerzifier.

The website: JerzifyYourself. The gold: You can turn yourself and/or anyone you know into guidos and guidettes in minutes.

I took it upon myself to obviously make myself into a guidette, but also some "familiar faces" from love, elizabethany. The other girl you may not recognize, but let's just say she's a certain kind of contest having BFF of mine.

Are they not the most beautiful things to ever grace this here blog!? Wow.

I know I'm still buying into these guidos 15 minutes of fame and I shouldn't be [especially because they're taking away from the ever so wonderful Real Worlders], but I just can't help it... Just like the rest of the world.
