hot or not?: temporary lip tats

The Sally Hansen nail strips, and just cool/designed nails in general are becoming uber popular right now. I'm not gonna lie, I love the trend!

....But I don't know how I feel about the same trend carrying over to lips.

"Violent Lips" are temporary tattoos [yes, the same things you loved putting all over your body as a kid] with animal print, glitter, and other designs on them.

All of these would look awesome on your nails... but your lips?!

Most of the designs would make you look somewhere between a clown and your own version of Lady Gaga, in my opinion... but If I were to try any of them, it would be these:

At least those are somewhat normal with a little flare, and actually, I'd love to give them a whirl. I watched the tutorials and they seem a little iffy, but it probably depends on lip shape. Chances of them working on my barely there, crooked lips- slim to none, I bet.

And if any of you have ever tried them, let me know! I really want to see these in real life, without a pro. Color me intrigued, for sure.

hot or not?!: jay fresh kick's "go"

Another Wednesday means another Local Limelight on the elizabethany show on Party934!

Another Wednesday morning has come and gone and I did my usual show on Party934!! That means I had another person to introduce you to for the Local Limelight!

This week's focus: Fuzzy G.

You may recognize him from Wicked Liquid, the band on Real World DC. He's the guitarist, and he's freakin' talented.

He does his own solo thing on the side, and this is the song he picked for me to feature this morning. It's called "Lady in the Water," and I need you to decide: Is it HOT or NOT?!






Now... Can he become a Local Limelight Legend?! [By winning 5 weeks!] Eddie Smotkin won it last week against D-Why!.. Who moves on this week?!

This morning I did another edition of elizabethany's Local Limelight on my radio show!

I featured D-Why!, my friend from Morgantown, WV who is doin' the damn thing.

People tweeted me earlier today and told me what they thought, but now I want to know what you think! Is his song, "Mr. Right Now," HOT or NOT?!





Now, I want to do a little "survivor" thing... To keep up with the alliteration, we shall call it Local Limelight Legacy.

HOTT or NOT?! eddie smotkin "abe lincoln"

As you should know by now, every Wednesday morning from 8-11am I host my own radio show with Party934! I play a lot of 90s music, talk about a lot of fun things, and keep it entertaining for everyone.

Today I started my "Local Limelight" segment. Each week I will play a song from a local artist and ask you to rate it!

My first subject: Eddie Smotkin. His song: "Abe Lincoln" The description: "Perfect for the soundtrack to your keg party."



You be the judge! If it's HOTT, maybe I'll play it again! Maybe I'll even turn this into a competition! It all depends on you.
