THURSDAY! WAHOOOO! The weekend is RIGHT around the corner! Let's get there soon, shall we?!

  • Want to make a picture something someone will always remember? Pay attention to the people in the background and take notes.
  • As the year starts to come to an end, we reflect on the past year... Like all of the ridiculous Twitter fights.
  • There are tramp stamps, and then there are slutty, skankalicious, stupid tramp stamps.
  • Have you ever checked out the random questions people ask online? These questions about sex will blow you away.
  • Mmmm, food. These are America's greatest food combos.
  • So you just robbed a house.. What should you do now? Why not ask her out on a date?
  • An easy workout: sex. Now you can know exactly how many calories you're burning depending on position, place, sound, etc.
  • Why is it that everything this world loves ends up becoming illegal?
  • Mom... Seriously... Stay off of Facebook.
  • Have dinner with Sarah Palin... For $25,000
  • Want to cause a hilarious scene? Take off your clothes for George Clooney at a press conference.

  • Yo, um, um, Ellis Lankster, I um... Think you should um.... I um think you should um... Try this again.

  • A precious baby tiger just to brighten your day.

There ya have it! Have a super day! And enjoy the NFL KICKOFF tonight!!!! YAYYYY!

big freakin' surprise

We can't escape the Palins... No matter how hard we try.

Long after the election was over, we're still hearing about little Bristol Palin and her love life.

Remember when we found out she was preggers, and her lover immediately put a ring on her finger? Of course we figured it was because her mom was pushing for it and didn't want her daughter to make her look bad, but now it's pretty much official.

Bristol and Levi Johnston have broken up. Imagine that.

They broke up a few weeks ago, which wasn't too long after their 2 month old son Tripp was born.

They're going to remain friends and raise the baby together, but not as a couple.

But I mean really, who DIDN'T see this coming?! No one.

amazingly contagious

Since it's too late to do a Top 10 Thursday [Ugh, I'm sorry I suck! :(] I'm just going to share some Top 10 lists with you this weekend.

I said I love the end of the year because of these lists, so be ready for 'em.

Right now, I present to you, the most viral videos of 2008.

10. The Late Night Wars of O'Brien, Colbert, and Stewart.
I don't think this is the actual video.. But with as "viral" as it is, I'm not sure I can find the specific right one. Who knows... I don't find it all that funny either, but I'm not a huge Late Night watcher.

9. The Grand Central Freeze
This video is AMAZING. Or, the concept is and what they did. If you haven't seen it, you need to. I can't even imagine being there when this happened. I would have geeked out.

8. The Puppy Cam
I never heard about this, or watched it, but apparently it was a live stream of a litter of puppies as they were born, grew up, and found new families.. And over 4 million people kept up with it. Wow.

7. Sarah Silverman's "I'm [Effing] Matt Damon"
Hilarious. Her and Jimmy are seriously the most hilarious couple ever. Agreed? I think so.

6. Paris Hilton Runs for President
In a response to McCain saying that Obama was celebrity like her and Britney, Paris had quite the comeback. Funny.. Even though it's her. :)

5. Dr. Horrible's Sing-along Blog
I haven't watched this, and it's 43 minutes long, so I'm probably not going to. But, maybe you'll have the patience. I've heard it's funny.

4. will.i.am's "Yes We Can"
All of my from-the-beginning readers know how much I LOVE this video/song. If for some odd and terrible reason you haven't seen it yet, you need to.. NOW.

3. Christian the Lion
I just posted this a couple of days ago.. And I agree.. It's incredible. In case you don't believe the actual video, check out everyone reporting on it.

2. Sarah Palin comes to SNL
Seeing Tina Fey do Palin was the best [literally.. look below] but when she came on herself, it was ALMOST just as good... Almost.

1. Tina Fey does Sarah Palin
We've seen them, or at least heard about all of the videos by now. Tina was awesome.. Perfect even. And everyone witnessed it. And it probably brought a lot of fans back to SNL.

The top 4 of this list, I completely agree.. But I haven't even heard of #5, and I do my share of surfing the net. Maybe I'm just ignorant to long videos. Who knows.

Ohh how you have changed the world, YouTube... It's incredible.

hangin around

If you thought you were going to get rid of Sarah Palin after the election, think again.

The lady is still crazy.

Recently, she pardoned a turkey for Thanksgiving.

Even more recently, she did an interview, right in front of a man who was slaughtering turkeys [and awkwardly staring at the camera], while she talked about how she was in the right place to take care of the turkey for dinner.

First of all, even if she hadn't pardoned a turkey, this has got to be the worst placement to do an interview.. Both on her part and the reporter's. It's terrible that you see that going on.

Second, she's an idiot. You have to observe your surroundings, Governor Palin. Not everything is super pretty, and great, and awesome and whatever else you want to call it in Alaska.

the final hoo-rah

So who was lucky enough to get that last spot on Saturday Night Live just 3 days before the election??

Republican Presidential Candidate John McCain.

And of course, Tina Fey was back again as Sarah Palin! :)

It's pretty hysterical. The opening was a commercial of sorts on QVC, because "that's all he could afford" unlike Barack Obama's thirty minute advertisement thing on Wednesday night. They also touch on a bunch more things, of course.

Check it out-->

Haha, they did good! They're certainly rockin' the political skits this year! I love it!

This Saturday after the results are in should be great, too. But then what? Guess we'll wait and find out..

in case you missed it

SNL featured not only our favorite Sarah Palin.. I mean, Tina Fey, but also WILL FERRELL as George Dubya Bush.

Quick highlights:
  • Ferrell mentions that the VP is actually more important than the Pres.
  • Tina Fey talks about how her and McCain go shopping. Ha. Get it?
  • Will does Bush's eyes PERFECT. I love it.
  • "A vote for John McCain is a vote for George W. Bush."
I'll be honest.. I always liked SNL, but I never watched it all that much. Ever since this whole election thing, and how great Tina Fey does, I look forward to catching the clips! Of course, they know that too, seeing as they expected their ratings to skyrocket last weekend.

Ahh, whatever will we do once the election is over?!

Take a sigh of relief, probably.

Until then,

is this really happening?!

Problem: Spending people's donated money on things like clothes and plane tickets.

Bigger problem: Spending 150,000$ of people's donated money on things like clothes and plane tickets.

Biggest problem: All of the above, plus over 13,000$ for hair and make-up, all because you're running for Vice President of the United States.

Yeah, Sarah Palin has spent over $150,000 of the Republican National Committee's money on her WARDROBE. She also spent over $13,000 so that she could hire "So You Think You Can Dance's" make-up artist, FOR A MONTH.

Seriously, SEEEERIOUSLY, this is not okay. Not in my book, anyways.

I understand the money the committees raise are for the campaigning and whatever, but this is.. I don't know.. uncalled for maybe?

Oh and by the way, while being Governor of Alaska, she would constantly buy her kids plane tickets to wherever they wanted, and then charge it to the state's funds. That's tax money, people.

Are there REALLY people out there who are voting for her?! To possibly become the next and first President of the US? [Assuming McCain doesn't make it, of course.] I just can't grasp this. She doesn't seem real to me. It's like she's pranking us, and come Nov. 4th she's going to say YOU GOT PUNK'D!!

Yea, so, if it wasn't clear before, I guess it is now. I'm voting Obama.

Please, Miss Alaska Barbie, save us the time and just tell us we're being punked right now. Why wait?

he's responding

After Sarah Palin's basically record-breaking performance on SNL, Barack Obama and his team are not ready to let her get all the shine.

There are tons of legit rumors going around that Mr. Obama will be on Saturday Night Live again on November 1, just 3 days before the election.

Hmmm... Good or bad timing if it does happen? I'd say good, unless he does a terrible job.

He was on Ellen this morning, too, dancing and cracking jokes about the election and how it's working. He said Michelle can dance better than him, but he's certain that he can dance better than McCain. He also gave a motivational speech for "Clooney Watch '08." [Ellen, now on the Warner Bros lot, is trying to get Clooney on her show any way that she can.] It was a good one.

Really though, what do you think about him possibly being on SNL Nov. 1??

Good luck, B! I'm rooting for you, of course! I hope you can do better than Sarah!

why not mix halloween with the election?

I feel like everything going on has SOMETHING to do with the election these days.

They're saying the candidates, most importantly Sarah Palin, are the top costumes for this Halloween.

Welp, if you're cheap like me, and want to be one of the 4 candidates, have no fear, the Chigago Tribune is here. ;)

They made these masks for you to print out and wear.. [Click to make em bigger.]

So great. They even got McCain's 2398 chins and Obama's ears. (Well, duh.)

Download em, print em, wear em, have fun! :)

freedom of speech

Remember when I talked about DJ AM and Jay-Z performing together earlier this week?

I failed to mention some of Jay-Z's comments.

Before playing "99 Problems," J expressed some feelings about the election, most specifically the Republican candidates.

"I'm gonna get in trouble for this, but [eff] it, this is freedom of speech. I'm playing this for Mr. McCain and his homegirl. The one that says 'You betchya.'"
--Jay-Z before performing "99 Problems"
HAHA, wow. People are really gettin' them, eh? By people I mean celebrities, obviously.

Good one, Jay! Clever! :-P

PS: Who else is endorsing him? Well, at least 40 music celebs. And looks like Colin Powell could be next!

what's worse?

So, I guess for everyone who is worried about Sarah Palin being president.. what would you do if say.. Paris Hilton won?!

Not sure if you've seen any of the videos of "Paris Hilton for President".. but now she has done an interview with Bazaar Magazine about her policies.

And no, I'm not kidding.

Who's her veep pick? Rihanna. "She's hott."

How will she celebrate victory? A Rockband party. Expert only. Her on drums.

Who's in her cabinet? No one. She won't have one. She's going to have a closet instead.

And, what's her advice for Mrs. Palin? "My advice to Sarah Palin is, you’ve got a hot bod; don’t keep it to yourself. Why wear a pantsuit when you can wear a swimsuit? Welcome to the Lower 48, girlfriend."

Homegirl is out of control. But it is pretty funny, I guess. I still just don't know what would be worse, her or Sarah Palin....... :-P

You never cease to amaze me, Paris. Yet, I'm never surprised either... if that makes sense.

elizabethany

PS: Anyone sick of hearing about Sarah Palin? Sometimes I definitely get sick of typing her name 238947 times a day on this blog..

she's at it again

So, I thought the first time Madonna said something about Sarah Palin was funny.

Now she's done it again.

This time, she wants her off of her street, not her party.

Check it out here.

I have a feeling she's not gonna quit, either.

Atta girl, Madge.

love,
elizabethany

apparently she's really multi-talented

So what will Palin do if she doesn't win the election with McCain?

The Pussycat Dolls want her to join the group.

....... What?!

Nicole Scherzinger, the lead singer of the Dolls, said "She seems like a headstrong woman, a tough chick. And she's hot." I guess that's all you need to be to be in that group.

AND! The Hef has even asked her to strip for Playboy! Wow.

Now I don't know if I'd rather her win the election or not..

Syke. That'd be totally entertaining to see. Good luck dancing, Sarah! :)

talk about being rejected

What is a good indication that you officially suck at life?
a) Tina Fey does an impersonation of you and EVERYONE loves it.. because it's dead on, basically saying you're an idiot and ridiculous.
b) Your daughter decides to have a baby right when you announce you're running for VP of the US.
c) Madonna bans you from her concerts.

The answer: C.

And yes, it's true.

Madonna declared Saturday that Veep Candidate Sarah Palin was not allowed to come to her concert.

"Sarah Palin can't come to my party. Sarah Palin can't come to my show. It's nothing personal," she said.

She then made a comment about Palin's husband's snowmobile not starting, followed by a loud screech.

Hilarious.

But really, EVERYONE likes Madonna. And if they don't now, they most certainly did at some point. Imagine being like "I'm going to be VP.. I can do whatever I want" and then have Madge say "no way will I EVER see you attend my shows." Wow. Ouch.

I don't see the scrutiny ending any time soon, Sarah, so you might as well get used to it, I guess.

on a role

Who says Tina Fey isn't coming back for more?!

Last night's SNL featured her, once again, as the beloved Sarah Palin..

It's making fun of the veep debates the other night and, once again, I think Tina deserves a standing ovation. She's incredible. She nails it right on the head every time. My personal favorite part is during the marriage issue.. and her comment about young kids getting married. I can't remember it exactly, so watch it for yourself ;)]

They got Biden good, too.. with all of the McCain is my BFF type comments.

I don't watch SNL on a regular basis, but I've been keeping up with these.. and I must say, you're doing a fabulous job with ALL of them, SNL! And Tina, more next week please and thanks.

diddy's a fool

HAHAHA

Diddy blog #24:

OK, all jokes aside, her answer IS scary. Scary in the sense that IF McCain does win, and happens to die, this lady, who can't even name one publication, is our president. Uhhhh....

Now for the jokes.. Diddy, you're a FOOL! Hahahaha, I can't believe he hid under the sheets and did all of that. He would, though. He of all people definitely would.

Get out and vote, people! Don't make Diddy run scared! :-P

while i'm on the topic of republicans..

Since I just posted something about McCain.. why not post something else about Palin? They ARE on the same ticket after all right? Like, they come hand-in-hand...

This video shows Mrs. Sarah Palin in the 1984 Miss Alaska Pageant.. Swimsuit Competition.

First of all, I'd like to say she would have never even come close to winning these days. Second, did you hear the "Sarah says that she wants to prepare for a career in television broadcasting by majoring in Telecommunications and Political Science" ???

Sorry guys... sorry if you like her but.. I just don't see the credibility in this lady. I always thought the fact that ALL of the national FOX News ladies were beauty queens in order to start their career.. let alone the possible next VP of our country. They're taught how to answer questions from an even earlier age than politicians.. aka-- deceiving.

But, I'm not saying who to vote for. Simply putting what I find out there. And if you have anything you want me to share about ANYONE.. please send it my way. :)

she came back again!

Here's another "in case you missed it"...

Tina Fey is back at it again, despite her vows to not come back to "Saturday Night Live," as Sarah Palin...

She's simply amazing at the role. Unbeatable.

My only question is.. how many more times can the ratings talk her into coming back to the show??
