My granddad is pretty hilarious. In a family that seems to frown upon most things I do like drink and *occasionally* say words that are sometimes frowned upon], he's the one that secretly approves of me drinking a bottle of vodka on a Friday night.

I've wanted to have him on to talk about things he probably knows nothing about for years, and on Friday I finally made it happen. It was his birthday, and the week's news was very classy...... full of sex tapes, drugs, and topless photos.

Trust me... you've gotta here his opinions.


Sure, some of it was a little uncomfortable to ask, but mostly because I knew my mommom was right next to him... and that my mom would eventually listen to this. Luckily, I haven't heard their reactions yet.

Jimmy K gathered some of the hottest gals in Hollywood and had them demonstrate the new way to get fit: Humping.

By hottest gals, I mean Jessica Alba. Jessica Biel. Sofia Vergara. ScarJo... to name a few. And oh yeah, Lindsay Lohan.

Normally I hate Jessica Biel, but I think she was the funniest for me in this. Something about her intensity was just outrageous!

And OH HEY LiLo. Is this your big comeback before going back to jail?!

Pure gold. I don't normally love Late Night stuff, but this one is freakin' fantastic.

Lindsay may have headed to jail today, but she's not completely disappearing. She's the next cover girl of GQ!

Alright, so it's the German GQ, but she's still on the cover and she looks HOTT. Talk about going to jail on a high note!

My favorite quote in the article is this one about how the game has changed since she first started:

"When I started working in the industry, I wanted to get to the very top, and I was painted as something completely different from what I really was. Nowadays in Hollywood, it is so much more about celebrities and gossip, which can distract many great actors from their actual ability. The public comes to know so much about these people that it gets superimposed upon on their work in movies."

It all goes back to giving people a little privacy and knowing them for their talent. I hate that it's all about personal lives and paparazzi now.

because you want to know: mtv movie awards

So the MTV Movie Awards were last night [duh] and it's time for me to tell you my thoughts... Because you care... Obviously.

I'll make it quick and simple.

What I hearted:

• Tom Cruise becoming someone we can all like and think is great again. His Les Grossman character that was shown throughout the show was hilarious. It was also cute to see Katie smiling and loving it!
• Speaking of him, his performance with J. Lo was great! I love seeing her back in action and looking hott, and it was funny!
• The Kiss Cam. As lame as it was, I thought about it again and it was totally funny. It's a shame some people didn't play along, but Russell Brand and Jonah Hill made it all worth it in the end.
• Sandra Bullock. Not that I wasn't a fan before, but I LOVE her now. I want to spend an entire weekend watching all of her movies. She's a class act. She addressed what's been said about her and said let's move on. Who cares if she got the award outta pity?! Either way- She deserved it.

What was not so heart-ful:

• Twilight being the main focus again, duh. Annoying. There's no way you can say that's honestly the best movie of the year. And WHO CARES if R. Pattz and K. Stew didn't kiss?! It was LAME! Stop talking about it. [I know.. I just did. I fail.]
• The Sandra/Scarlett kiss. I know, I know. I'm a hater or something. Whatever. I just didn't get it. Maybe there's something I'm missing, but that whole situation just confused the eff out of me.
• The performances. Katy Perry and Snoop Dogg were rather awkward, and Christina Aguilera was no bueno. I think her time is up. There's no coming back. Plus- what was that heart on her cooch?!
  
• Lindsay Lohan. Homegirl needs help. Just because she avoided sitting next to Dr. Drew doesn't mean someone shouldn't step in. It's scary what she looks like now!

Also worth mentioning because everyone loves them: Jersey Shore walked the red carpet. Why does Angelina still get to do everything?! UNFAIR! Also, can we all agree that Sammi is the hottest girl by far? And Vinny wins for the guys!

lindsay lohan is dead to the magazines

I guess the Summer of Death is still haunting magazines everywhere. They must've really freaked out as person after person died and they didn't have features prepared for them.

Why? Because they've already started preparing obituaries for Lindsay Lohan.

Everyone's been predicting that she's the next to die for a while [and the mysterious white powder on her shoes recently aren't helping], so everyone is making sure they're prepared for the tragedy.

Wow.

Can you imagine being in your early 20s knowing people think you're going to die soon, so much they've prepared your tributes? First of all, I'd want to see the tribute, then I'd probably have more of a desire to die knowing people would rather prepare such things than help me.

It's like a domino effect waiting to begin... Or maybe it already has. Either way, I feel bad for LiLo, and agree with the mags. I totally used to love her.

In hopes of the obituaries/tributes/whatever not needing to be released anytime soon, let's listen to her latest song.

I'll be honest, I've never heard of Muse Magazine until today, but apparently it's a fashion and art magazine, and it's got everyone talking right now.

The newest cover features Lindsay Lohan.

The cover: Not so controversial. The photoshoot inside: Very much so.

I just don't really understand why she's still being featured everywhere. When is the last time she did something worth noting? She's just another Paris Hilton nowadays.

Anyway, I guess it's important to show her in threesomes and showing off her entirely too skinny ass. Apparently it's a beautiful thing, according to the photographer.

"She is stunning and radiates in the pictures. Lindsay is incredibly focused where it comes to her career and fashion is her passion. It's raw, it's exposed, this is her at her best. She told me: 'I want to make this iconic.' "

I must be missing something. I don't find any of these pictures appealing, hott, interesting... They're rather disgusting to me, actually. I'd rather vomit in my mouth than look at these for much longer.

Quick updates on some thangs... Of course it seems like 239473324 things happen when I CAN'T be at my computer.

• If you didn't already get the memo, SamRon and LiLo are done son! And Sam is thinkin' Lindsay is going to do something crazy. [As if that's something different. Maybe Sam IS the better one of the two?! Who knows. I see a Britney-freak-out-type thing happening here real soon, though.] [People Mag]
• Patrick Swayze, who's dealing with pacreatic cancer, is down to just 105 pounds!!! It's absolutely terrible looking at the pictures and makes me want to cry... But he's not crying! Apparently he's still hangin' in there, so everyone pray uber hard for him! [National Enquirer]

The people they got to do it are very different from one another.. It's a great variety. Not sure if I love some of the picks, but Alicia Keys makes a GREAT Michelle Obama, and I'm totally okay with Alexis Bledel as Rosie the Riveter and Hayden Panettiere looks good [as always] as Amelia Earhart.

I am NOT okay with Lindsay Lohan being Madonna. There really wasn't anyone else?!

And there was no Marilyn Monroe. Weird?

I'm someone who likes to live in the past.. In the sense that I like looking at old pictures of celebrities and seeing how much they have changed over the years that I have known them. So, after some research, asking around, and looking at HUNDREDS of pictures, I have made my decision...

Top 10 Transformed Celebrities

10. Will Smith
He's gone from being the Fresh Prince of Bel-air to being an action-movie hero. He used to be the guy everyone looked at as the epitome of a player who had all the best lines and got all the ladies. [Some still do, of course.] Now, he's happily married and has a wonderful family. This change wasn't good or bad. It was simply a reinvention/maturation that worked.

9. Olsen Twins

Let's just say they're clearly not making their home videos anymore. Well, hm, not the kind we grew up with. No more Full House, either. And, no more being best friends/inseparable! The twins have grown up, partied, made new businesses.. But one thing has indeed stayed the same; They're making bank.


8. Christina Aguilera
From being a genie, to dirrty, to a mama, she's a pop princess that has certainly changed with age. She had the innocence, the naughty-times, and now the maturity. Fortunately for her, it's worked for the most part. She's good.

She went from cute, to HOTT during the Mean Girls and Freaky Friday days, and then, BAM! She was out partying, getting crazy, dying her trademark hair, and losing her figure. Doctor, I think we lost her.

Princess of pop or princess of reinvention/ comebacks?! I guess it'll take time to tell, but she's certainly had her changes over the years. Even if she might be headed back to one of her old "characters," she's had enough of them to say she's changed quite a bit. School girl--> Toxic--> Slave--> Pink hair--> awkward VMA performer--> VMA winner. Wonder what's next?

3. Arnold Schwartzenegger

How does someone go from body builder to a terminator to a GOVERNOR?!?! When he was running, I thought it was a joke, but apparently he meant business. Does this mean someone like Hulk Hogan will run for senator somewhere? That's quite the unusual change. I hardly doubt anyone would have ever thought ANYTHING like this would happen with ANY celebrity 10 years ago.. But he IS the Arnold. He does crazy things.



2. Madonna
DUH Factor #1. Do I need to say anything about her? She's the Queen of Reinvention... cone boobs and all. As much as we can look back and say "Woah, what was she thinking?!" At the time, she was all the rage with whatever look she had.. She's a trendsetter keeping up.. or setting, rather... all the trends.

1. Michael Jackson

DUH Factor #2. Again, no need to say anything. This man went from human to weirdo. From black to white. From guy to basically a girl. His voice has stayed the same, pretty much.. Nice and high.. But say someone was stuck in the underworld for 15 years and came back looking for MJ. Bet ya they would never find "him."
