Normally I'm not jumping out of my seat or bed or anything to see a Jackass movie, but I might be there for opening night with this one.

It's kinda scripted, but it's real pranks, performed in front of real people, with their real reactions. AKA my favorite kinda videos on YouTube or anywhere.


I laughed out loud in the trailer three times. That doesn't happen. Ever.

the sandlot cast has been reuniting across the nation!

Well, it's a little late to be finding this out since the tour is almost over, but to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Sandlot [hi, you're old], the cast has been traveling to a ton of different ball parks to meet with fans!

Squints, Ham, Yeah-Yeah, Timmy, and Tommy "Repeat"

Let's just admire the guys in their grown-up state:

They got honored at the field in Salt Lake City where most of it was filmed.

Maybe most of them aren't super hott nowadays, but for some reason I kinda wanna hump Squints. Never saw that sentence coming out of my mouth. ...or... fingers.
Also... Yeah-Yeah!? Woah guy. You're large. You should take a break from the gym sometimes.

You should also know that Ham is married in real life.

Get it, boy!

where are they now?: don't tell mom the babysitter's dead

So... I actually had NO IDEA what this movie was when I went to college. Like most classic movies, my friends always mentioned it and I pretended like I kinda knew what they were talking about until one of them called me out and made me watch it. It was a fantastic moment of revelation. 

I haven't known [most of] these characters for a long time, so it's a bit of a mindblow to see that they're old already! For you, they might be strangers. Let's see where they are and feel old. 

Bryan AKA Josh Charles has aged well... which is a good thing since he's still acting! You mighta seen him on "The Good Wife," which got him the Emmy nomination.

I'm glad Kenny AKA Keith Coogan grew up a little, but it's not helping him as much as Josh. He's acting in independent films and hosting a podcast show called "The Call Sheet."

Yeah boys... Melissa grew up to be the super hott Danielle Harris. She's been in some Halloween movies, and has more scary movies coming out soon.

Rose AKA Joanna Cassidy is the pro here. She's still going, and has gotten two Emmy noms since the movie for "Six Feet Under."

How is it that the smallest one Walter, AKA Rob Gorman, looks like one of the oldest now? [I tried to pick a better picture of the ones on the Google machine] He's tried acting, but mostly really small parts since becoming a grown up, including on One Tree Hill.

And every cast seems to have one sad story. Zach, AKA Chris Pettiet, died in 2000 of a drug overdose.

Now I want to go watch it again, as if I'm knowing their future while watching it. So.. see ya.

watch: remembering 2002

We've already lived through 1999 again, but now it's time to fast forward 3 years to 2002, when everything was beginning to change forever:

• Technology is now real: Small Nokia phones and iPods are introduced
• Reality TV starts to take over
• Boy bands have faded out
• A white rapper has the highest selling album of the year
• Movies are all about sequels, trilogies, and beyond

Just the thumbnail itself aggravates me. I'm team Barbie. Bratz are stupid. 2002 is when the world officially went downhill and started getting rid of the 90s.

watch: nsync does a cover of "that thing you do"

Either my memory has gone to sh!t or I never knew they did this [I'm going to proudly say it's a memory issue since I'd hate to have missed out on this for my whole life 'til now], but way back in the day... NSYNC did a cover of "That Thing You Do!" while on tour.

Fun fact: That Thing You Do is my favorite movie OF ALL TIME. Like easily, hands down.

I think I had a little girl orgasm while watching this just now.

the backstreet boys are making a tell-all documentary!

Ohh snap! Time for another super [bittersweet] awesome moment!

[PS Apparently this is older news, and I somehow missed it. I'm embarrassed, but better late than never!]

Since the Backstreet Boys were totally left out of the Package Tour, they're celebrating their 20th anniversary and new album with something more intimate: A documentary all about their rise to fame and what they're doing now!

It'll be another documentary about celebs to hit the theaters, hopefully by this fall!

It's another one of those moments where I'm like super pumped but the inside of me is weeping, struggling to ask "why can't it just be NSYNC?!"

Maybe it's time I admit I was on the wrong team of the boy band battle....

the cast of cool runnings: where are they now?

It's been 19 years since Cool Runnings came out. NINETEEN! That's pretty crazy to me. It also means it's been 18 years since their amazing coach John Candy died. Hmph.

Buzzfeed posted an update on the fine fellas of the movie, but I've gone and found a few more recent pics...

We've seen plenty of teases, now we can see the full theatrical trailer for "Men In Black 3!" Check it:



You guys... I think it looks really good! Considering it's been a bazillion years since the last one [okay, only about ten years], Will Smith looks great, and it seems like the plot will be pretty good!

Also, I'm gonna need one of those circle bikes. And to rewatch the other movies before I go and see this one. It's been far too long.

It's out in May, good thing I have some time.

watch: first trailer for "men in black 3"

It's really happening! Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are back for a 3rd installment, in 3D!, of "Men in Black!"

It looks like there is going to be a whole lot of time travel and "truth finding" in this one, including jumping back into the 90s and all the way back to 1969, and though their looks may be a bit different, it doesn't look like Will's character will be changing at all.

the cast of the little rascals: what they look like now

I watched The Little Rascals over the weekend and decided it was time to see what all of the cast members look like now. We saw the picture of Alfalfa and Darla, but here's some more about those lovable kids:

Travis Tedford, AKA Spanky

Poor guy is already balding, and apparently had to take a job at Walmart. He did have a decent amount of gigs after the movie, but nothing bigger than "The Amanda Show" and a random voice on "A Bug's Life." Follow him on Twitter, maybe it'll help get him back in the game...

Bug Hall, AKA Alfalfa

The nerds always grow up to be the best... and dang, this is definitely proof! Bug is a total babe now, and has been doing a bunch of one-episode roles in TV shows, and seems to be in some upcoming movies in 2013. Could this be a serious comeback?! He seems pretty great on Twitter, too.

Brittany Ashton Holmes, AKA Darla

The perfect little girl didn't get much of anything after the movie, and now seems to be your average, slightly slutty 22 year old.

Ross Bagley, AKA Buckwheat

Okay, I really did think he was a girl... like, until just now I think. Woops. He was in "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," which I guess I just didn't put the two and two together, and now he's... umm... glad the NBA is back?

Jordan Warkol, AKA Froggy

He was also in "A Bug's Life," and some episodes of "Hey Arnold!," but not a whole lot beyond those. He said on Twitter he wants to get back into the acting world. Good thing his looks are much better these days!

Courtland Mead, AKA Uh-Huh

The cutie did a bunch of things up until the mid-2000s, including "A Bug's Life" and "Recess," but nothing since 2006, making him say his occupation is "washed up child actor" on his MySpace. He does look like a hell of a "Myspace shot" photographer.

Zachary Mabry, AKA Porky

This kid didn't do much acting after the movie, but now he goes to University of Oklahoma, in case you might be out that way, look out for him! He's still a total cutie!

Sam Saletta, AKA Butch

I feel like I remember him playing a lot of bullies in shows, and he does have a pretty resume, but it stops in 2003 after some episodes of "7th Heaven" and "Rocket Power." It's a shame, really... he's a beautiful man now, and just writing for a sports website. Holler at his Twitter!

Blake McIver Ewing, AKA Waldo

Wait, what?! He's not a Culkin?! Weird. He did have big roles in "Full House" and "Hey Arnold!," but apparently focuses on theater now and is pretty successful with it. He even released a choir Christmas CD called "On This Christmas Night."

Heather Karasek, AKA Jane

Not too surprising that she didn't do any more acting after the movie, but she's looking pretty successful nowadays as she works with the wardrobe departments of some movies in the past year. She seems really normal [well, duh] and cute on Twitter.


It's so weird to think that these kids/characters are some that we'll never forget, and yet they've been completely forgotten about in the acting world as they grew up! They get to tell people they were in this awesome movie, and live a normal life. That's pretty neat.

Now I shall stalk those that are on Twitter forever.

watch: lil p-nut returns to ellen and hilariously dumped his girlfriend

Oh. Em. GEE! Remember 7 year old rapper Lil P-Nut?! He acted like a little grown-up tellin' kids to stay in school if they want their dreams to come true on Ellen, and then he got an Escalade of his own from her.

Well now, he's freaking starring in Happy Feet Two! Amazing! And that means another trip to the Ellen Show.



He is so. freaking. funny. I've been having a really rough couple days [any hilarity that you wanna send me, I'll definitely take it, duh!] and he made me LOL more than anyone else. And that's not even the full interview! I wish Ellen posted all of it. Her reaction to some things he said were fabulous.

I think I might have to see that movie in theaters for the simple fact that he's in it. Who's comin with me?!

watch: the trailer for pixar's "brave" might intrigue you

When I first saw teasers for this video, I was disappointed. It seemed way too dark for a Pixar movie. Now that there's an extended trailer, I might give it a chance.



First of all, her hair is a fabulous mess. Second, it did make me giggle a few times...
BUT, anyone ever see a movie called "Mulan"?! Plus- I like it best when Pixar makes super colorful, fun, non-human movies.

I guess I'm just a hater, but I really do plan on giving this movie a chance. I just don't think it'll live up to Pixar expectations. Agree or disagree?

watch: new toy story short film

When I first saw about this, I wasn't too happy... but now that I've watched the teaser, I really wanna see it!

It's a Toy Story short film that will be shown before The Muppets, but it's not adding on to the story or taking away from what we've loved. Instead, Buzz gets stuck with a bunch of kids' meals toys from fast food places!



It still leaves a LOT to the imagination, but OMG! I totally remember that steak toy! And the mermaid?! Just like all the Barbie toys from McDonald's!

I need this to hit YouTube in full-length eventually.. I'll keep my eye out.

watch: first look at "one day on earth"

Remember a few months back, they asked everyone to shoot some video during one specific day and upload it to YouTube? It was for a movie called "One Day on Earth" that will literally show things that happened on that day, all over the planet.

I'm freakin' pumped. Even within one town so many things always happen on any given day... Imagine how huge this could be WORLDWIDE.

SO. MUCH. CULTURE! Crazy. The people putting this together are putting in so much time and work, but it's going to be so worth it. I can't wait.

watch: awesome movie trailer marriage proposal

As much as I pretend to have a mild heart that only desires a sugar daddy, I have a secret- That's not entirely true. One day I want my movie-like life to be something like a love story. Someday.

Imagine sitting in the theater to see a movie, and literally seeing your story on the big screen as your boyfriend proposes to you. It'd be incredible. It was incredible for this couple:

exclusive interview: raini rodriguez of disney's "prom" [and rico!]

I think two of the biggest celebs I've talked to are also my two favorites. Raini and Rico Rodriguez are from Bryan, TX, which is the next town over from where I am now, and have stopped by my studio a few times now.

The first time we played Truth or Dare and had a lot of fun, but this time we talked all about Raini's movie that is premiering on Friday: Disney's "Prom."

To give away some prizes, we took calls on crazy prom stories. Some were typical, but some were very clever and the one we picked definitely had me shocked at the end. It was crazy.



I also caught up with Rico a little bit! He told me all the shows he's been making cameos and guest spots in [which I LOVE!!] and how he's staying busy. Plus: Raini is going to be starring in a new Disney Channel show!



We broadcasted the entire thing live on UStream and took a bunch of pictures, so if you want to see exactly how it all went down, click the pic below!

watch: mike manning in the ecupid movie trailer

Since filming the Real World: DC, Mike has been the one cast member making serious moves towards a real career. He makes me pretty jealous, to be honest. He even hosted the red carpet during awards season!

One of his projects: Starring in small feature films, such as eCupid.

It was set to release in February, but as far as I can tell [until I talk to him], it looks like it's a little delayed. Either way, the movie looks like it's going to be a genuinely good movie.



It looks like a very gay-community-driven movie, but so what?! What matters in the movie is the story, the characters, and the entertainment, and call me crazy, but this looks pretty damn good!

I'm really proud of Mike and even more excited to see this finished product. I'm sure we all are! So here's to him and being able to say "I loved him way back when."

watch: bring it on- the musical preview

Maybe it's the cheerleader in me, but I think this sounds freaking INCREDIBLE!

They're turning "Bring It On" into a musical and traveling around the nation! Um, YES PLEASE!



Gleeks will love it. Cheerleaders and gymnasts will love it. Fans of the movie will love it...

And let's be honest- It's gotta be better than all of the ABC Family sequels.
