watch: "remember 1999" makes me think it was the best year ever

I always thought 1996 was my most favorite year. One reason: The Magnificent 7.

After watching this here video of everything 1999 included, I'm wondering if I was lying to myself my whole life.

• Pop princesses really took off
• "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" debuted
• Big Daddy and Toy Story came out
• Napster made getting music so much easier
• Robin Williams was still effing great
• Macy Gray, Creed, Lenny Kravitz, and S Club 7 all hit the charts
• There was an extra girl in Destiny's Child whose name I don't even remember.
• Saying "so let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel" was totally acceptable

It's a long video, but every second is a nostalgia mind-eff.


And just for fun, some more fun facts about 1999:

• Cher’s "Believe" is No.1 on Billboard's Year-End Hot 100 singles. 
• Backstreet Boys’ Millennium is the biggest selling album of the year.
• Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez and Eminem release their debut albums.
• Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace is the highest grossing film of the year (also, the first new Star Wars film since 1983) 
• The Nanny, Home Improvement, Sister, Sister, Mad About You and Melrose Place, all ended their series run.

watch: new toy story short film

When I first saw about this, I wasn't too happy... but now that I've watched the teaser, I really wanna see it!

It's a Toy Story short film that will be shown before The Muppets, but it's not adding on to the story or taking away from what we've loved. Instead, Buzz gets stuck with a bunch of kids' meals toys from fast food places!



It still leaves a LOT to the imagination, but OMG! I totally remember that steak toy! And the mermaid?! Just like all the Barbie toys from McDonald's!

I need this to hit YouTube in full-length eventually.. I'll keep my eye out.

watch: i played barbie in toy story

I'm getting really excited about this YouTube channel I started with some of my coworkers. It's teaching me different editing techniques and giving me plenty of opportunities to use my green screen!

Today is Barbie Day, and we inserted ourselves right into a quick clip from Toy Story 3.



I look nothing like Barbie, but it's still fun to play around with it all. I'm still no perfect editor, but I just have to share my excitement in my daily improvement.

Subscribe to our channel, watch the vids, share with your friends! I really think these videos should be getting more credit than they do, but maybe I'm a little biased.

I wonder if that's just the kid they modeled Andy after but he's not telling anyone! Either way- Imagine going to see the movie and being like "that's... me...."

It would instantly become my favorite movie EVER if that happened to me.

Then again, the movie was pretty freakin' awesome anyway. If you haven't seen it- you need to. It absolutely, without a doubt, 100% lived up to the hype. Phew.

watch: something to get you pumped for toy story 3

OMG THE DAY IS HERE!!!!

I've been telling you since day 1 how excited I am for Toy Story 3, and now it's finally in theaters!

If for some reason you're not as pumped as me, I think you should watch this video.

watch: cribs with ken

You should already know how uber-pumped I am for Toy Story 3 to come out. It's my birthday week and I absolutely plan on spending one of those nights going to the theaters to catch this sure-to-be-amazing movie.

Why am I positive it's going to be amazing?! Well, it's Toy Story. It has to be amazing. They've done this whole movie-series right. Not too much, and perfect, real-life timing for all of them.

Also: Promos like this one make me giggle out loud. Normally that's hard to do with videos... but this one got me.

Maybe it's because I was a loser and played Barbies until I was in high school, or maybe I just like to pretend I'm still a kid.. Either way, that's hilarious.

They picked on all the funny things about Barbies and Ken seems to have a totally funny personality! I CAN'T WAIT to meet him and Barbie in the movie. YES!

Alright... I'll calm down now. Sorry. Kinda.

watch: toy story 3 trailer

I haven't been this excited about a movie in a really long time.

Wait... Maybe I take that back. I haven't been this excited about a sequel to a movie in a really long time.

I posted the teaser to Toy Story 3 a while ago, but now we officially have an official trailer! It totally has the same "Find Andy and make him love us again" storyline, but with a whole new twist, of course!

There's also new characters!!

So. Freakin'. EXCITED!!! In 3-D!!! AHHHH! AND! It's on my birthday weekend!!! That's a good sign for my 23rd birthday, right?! That I'm excited for Toy Story 3?!

watch: toy story 3 teaser

Somehow I missed this when it hit the Internet a couple weeks ago, and I'm uber upset about it.

BUT... Like I've always said... It's better late than never!

Toy Story 3 is set to come out in June [which is WAY too far away], but they have released this teaser for us all.

Seriously, I can't even explain how excited I am for this movie. I'm always saying how I hate that classic movies get added onto, but I think this one is going to be done right.

I will be the first in line for this movie, you can bet your bottom dollars on it.

nifty: toy story legos

So apparently Disney and LEGO have some sort of partnership, so you can expect a lot of exciting and sweet LEGOs in the future!

The first group of LEGOs that I'm pumped about are these Toy Story guys! [Probably a huge promotion for the new installment for the series of movies and I'm totally okay with it!]

Seriously... How awesome?!? Not that I play with LEGOs or ever have, but I want the little alien guy!

I wonder how big they are...? Normal size of LEGO people? They're very detailed for such little people!
