new day26 song: "made love lately"

Um, HELL YES I'm still a Day26 fan! I've been keeping a close eye on their Twitter waiting for the day they put out a new song, and now they have!

For those of you who loved them as much as me, or still do, here's "Made Love Lately."



I just love their voices. I immediately get happy hearing them again. It doesn't hit as hard as some of their first songs, but each time I listen to it, I love it more.

New album coming soon they say, called "A New Day," without Que.

watch: preview of aubrey oday's new show- all about aubrey

Tweet If you've been around for a while, you know my feelings regarding Aubrey HO'Day are pretty strong. She's still been doing all the same things she always did, but I've decided to just not give a bleep.

Now she's about to have her own show on Oxygen which means a couple things: People will have "a reason" to talk about her. She'll have "a reason" to be cocky. And she just MIGHT have a musical comeback [but probably not].

The show is debuting in the Spring, but here's what they call a preview:



Part of me likes her attitude and perseverance, the other part of me still wants to punch her in the face. I guess we'll actually have to see what this show is all about.

i'm practically an mtv superstar

Alright... It's time for me to take a moment of your time and talk about me, myself, and I.

You see... As of last night, I've officially been on MTV 3.5 times, and I think that's reason to celebrate. 3.5 sightings on MTV practically makes me a celeb... especially since they were spread out over time so my 15 minutes never let up.

Yes, I finally made my debut on Real World: DC! I can finally prove that I was there for all these things I showed you, and not just hiring someone to do it for me. Lance may have gotten a little more face time but let's not forget the "no elizabethany's allowed" rule.


If you're wondering "how is she counting 3.5 times?!" let me explain.

It all started when I was a junior in high school and my wildest dream came true: I became a TRL VJ.

[Okay... So it may have only been for 10 minutes and to introduce "Holiday Inn" by Chingy, and talk to Vanessa Minnillo about how cold it was outside, and I may have stuttered big time, and my mom may or may not have been there with me..... but it still counts!]


Many of you may not know about my Making the Band obsession, but it's pretty ridiculous. My fellow stalking BFF and I [who you saw in eTV's episode 1!] went to their concert in Baltimore, found out which hotel they stayed in, waited for them, met them, then hung out with them. [I guess now's a good time to tell you RWDC wasn't the first to be stalked by ebethany....]

Well... Come Fall of 2009... There we were on MTV again.

Of course my third time was last night. I guess I'm getting less face time each time, but I understand... I know how to share, it's okay. I'm still going to be excited.

Plus, I'm mostly pumped that the Flip was super prominent...

And my partner in crime was practically the main focus...

As for my "half-time," well, that happened a couple weeks ago. I was on MTV.com for our weekly Real World DC chat! That totally counts as being on MTV, but not a full tally. Fair, right?!

So, I'm sure you can agree with me; EB= no stranger to MTV. Don't worry, I'm not one of those mean celebs. I'll sign an autograph for you any day.

watch: stadium music video

I meant to include this in the TOT last night, but I completely forgot.

It's the latest released video from DAY26. [They've been shooting 4 videos all week, so hopefully they'll be released real soon!] The song: "Stadium Music." I like the song, but the single didn't do too well. [I still don't understand why they're not on Top40 stations... Whatever.]



Wanna know how I feel about it? I think it's terrible. I'm a little embarrassed for them, actually. I could make a video of this quality.

Where is Diddy at?!?! Shouldn't he be the one to go "Oh HELL no we're not using this as the video!" ?? I'm just not a fan of him as a producer at all. I don't know if I'm a fan of him period, really... But he puts together these groups that are amazing, and don't do nearly as well as they could.

I hope the other ones are better, boys...

watch: day26 vs donnie klang

Whatever Hardknock TV is, it sure did spark a serious debate/issue.

They asked Day26 how they felt about Donnie making a comment about them stealing all of the airtime, and they clearly have some strong feelings about it. And by they, I surprisingly mean Mike.

Donnie responded and posted the video of him watching it. He's heated, of course. But I'm going to do the right thing and present both sides, then say what I want to say.



Yikes. I agree with Donnie that A) they got more airtime and B) Mike sure did have a lot to say for once. I agree that Donnie shouldn't have said that, but then Day26 shouldn't have gone off, either.

It's funny how "New York" Donnie got when he was mad though, right?! And Robert has really matured a lot since last year. I used to hate him, but now he's got a good head on his shoulders, and I'm happy about it.

They're all tweeting saying they are cool now and stuff, but this all just got posted not long ago, so who knows. I hope so!

I wonder how Diddy feels about it. I bet he's not happy. Labelmates shouldn't fight!

And my boys Day26 need not to be seen in a bad light. They're too amazing for that.

countdown: forever in a day is out so soon!

Day26's new album, "Forever in a Day", is out in TWO DAYS, so I thought I'd put a little somethin' somethin' up to get you pumped.

Seriously, I don't buy full albums very often, but I will ALWAYS buy these groups' no matter what... On opening day! And I think all of you guys should, too!

Rascal has never let anyone down. They're always great. And! Former American Idol contestant Chris Sligh helped co-write some songs! Nice!

Day26 needs more support, I feel. People underestimate them, which is stupid. So go out and buy it! Plus, they say it's a HUGE club album this time, which is exciting!

So budget your money wisely! [How I'll afford them, I'm not sure... But I'll make it happen!]

tomorrow!

Okay, so I planned on doing a whole countdown, and it just didn't happen. But.. TOMORROW is the PREMIERE of MAKING THE BAND'S NEW SEASON!!!

Aubrey, D. Woods, and Shannon are probably out of Danity Kane. Donnie hasn't really had a big hit. Day26 is looking at a couple of issues within the group, but trying to keep it together. Oh and also, they have a new single officially out called "Stadium Music."

Imagine that.. Another BANGIN' song from them! They're amazing and deserve way more credit. Period.

But ANYWAYS.. Can they keep it together? Can Diddy help out Donnie instead of always focusing on himself? What will happen with DK?!

We'll begin to find all of it out tomorrow, and I can not wait!!

here comes another countdown

When I get pumped about things that I think you need to get pumped about as well, I make countdowns.

The latest countdown: The premiere of the new season of Making the Band 4. [AKA MTB4.]

Danity Kane is down to 2. No one has heard anything from Donnie besides on the show. And the guys are struggling to keep it together.



I'm SUPER worried they won't be able to stop fighting, and Diddy will do that snap of the fingers and kick some people out.

Also, Willie and Que were always the two that held everyone together. They are the mature ones. The ones who seemed like brothers from day 1. If they can't keep it together, I'm REALLY worried.

Anyways, get pumped! It's time to find out if Diddy can REALLY keep a group together or not!!! [Yes, it lies in his hands. He's just got to give them a chance and not give up on 'em. And... they need to be produced and promoted better. Period.]

13 days!!!!! February 12th baybays, mark your calendars!!!

Another DK member is reportedly flying the coop.

Mrs. Shannon Bex has now left the group, which now only consists of Aundrea and Dawn.. And Dawn has a couple single tracks out sooo...

It's not confirmed by Bad Boy or Diddy or Shannon yet, but it's not looking good.

show must go on

Have no fear, MTB fans... Diddy announced that there will be "bonus" episodes coming in the beginning of 2009.

Surprise surprise.

I think everyone kinda figured the series wouldn't die with a comment about Obama. Diddy's "better" than that.

EVP Series Development & Programming at MTV, Tony DiSanto, said "there is so much more story to tell, amazing music and great drama to come. With Diddy you never quite know exactly what's next…But it's pretty certain you won't be able to take your eyes off!"

Well, for us fans, you're right. But there's a lot of people sick of it all at this point.

Also, for those of you who are wondering if it's real, Entertainment Weekly has an interview with Shannon.. It's real, ya'll.

I just hope the bonus episodes show them working this all out, and not falling apart for good.

And I hope there's plenty of action for my boy Brian.. and all of Day26. ;)

What to say about tonight's finale of Making the Band???

I mean, they didn't really END anything. They finished by talking about Obama. WHAT IS THAT?!

I really kept thinking that Diddy was just testing the girls, which he may still be, but it's a lot more "over" than I expected it to be.

They also seemed more real and shocked than I expected. Am I alone in thinking that they were just plotting this out for good reality tv drama?!

But yea, if you missed it, Aubrey is out of DK. D. Woods left when she made a comment about no one being happy for a while.

They left very swiftly. They thanked Diddy for the opportunity, said their goodbyes, and were on their way "with no regrets." They didn't seem TOO upset, but once the finale was live (minus D. Woods, which really put everything into reality) they were all on the verge of tears, especially Aundrea.

I'll tell you what, they left a lot of people stunned. When I met them, they weren't together. Not even two of them travelled together.. but I never thought anything of it.

Now they have to come together and prove to Diddy that they really do have family love and can work it all out.

What do ya'll think about it? I'm just really, pretty upset. The only good side of the whole finale is that Day26 does seem to be staying incredibly strong.

Diddy, you also have to realize you made a bit of a mistake. Proving a point is one thing.. breaking up the band is something completely different.

not so much a finale

Alright, I've GOT to express my thoughts on tonights MTB4.

We all know there have been 59384 rumors going around that Danity Kane IS really breaking up. And we have seen the commercials/previews for not only tonight's episode, but next weeks season finale of "Making the Band."

Now, we've seen tonight's episode.

Diddy did in fact tell Aubrey that she is no longer in the group. And that's where the episode ended. (Of course, gotta leave everyone hangin, right?) Then he says things about who wants to go with her etc etc.

It all happened because Aubrey and Aundrea have sent emails to Diddy wanting to leave the group in the past, different "cliques" within the group, and "trust issues." BUT, also because of his secrecy when it comes to doing things with Dawn.

This is where I side with Miss O'Day for once. She was being very firm with Diddy, but I think she had a very valid point. She was saying that when he does things with Dawn, or when management does things without telling them, it creates huge trust issues and that they should all have the right to know when things are going on.

Diddy's reaction: I own Bad Boy, I don't care.

Uhh. Yea, you own it, so when they sabotage something to get you back, YOU'RE the one who looks bad. YOU are also the one who looks bad when you give these girls NO respect, Mr. Combs.

He definitely showed his cocky, high-horse riding self in tonight's episode, and it was not cool at all. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole group offered to follow Aubrey.. but I still hope that no one leaves.. Not even Slut-brey. :)

Diddy, get your act together. And by act, I don't mean DK, Day26, Donnie, or other Bad Boy artists. I mean you. Stop being such a pain to work for.. it's not cool anymore. YOU are letting people down.

PS: I am officially picking Brian as my favorite Day26er. He doesn't get enough love, and he's HILARIOUS, and so genuinely nice.. So move over, ladies. ;)
PPS: Their trip to Cabo looked like TOO much fun! For once I thought Diddy was going to be awesome for an entire episode.

Guys... according to Perez and his sources.. it's true.

Aubrey and D. Woods are going to peace out next week on Making the Band.

He didn't say if it's permanent or not, but it still makes me sad.

The only good thing is that they did perform together sometime last week, so MAYBE it's all for show. I guess all we can do is hope, right?

This is at the performance last week.. [Personal opinion: They look pretty terrible, minus Aundrea, who's always positive. Since when is D feminine? Dawn looks bored. Aubrey is a slut with a dog? And Shannon.. greek goddess?? :(]

Pull it through, ladies! All we need is love, love. Love is all there is... :)

in lieu of making the band tonight..

...A couple of things..

First off, Mr. Sean P. Diddy Combs, is coming out with yet ANOTHER show. (Is it just me or does it feel like every show on tv has to do with one of a few people??)

It's called "StarMaker." Think part American Idol, part Making the Band. It's been said he's looking for one solo artist like AI, but also photo-ops, press interviews, paparazzi and living together.

Wait. That IS Idol... they live together, make commercials, walk the red carpet... hmmm. I guess just more focus on that aspect is what Diddy is going for.

It's set to begin in January, probably on MTV since that's who he is working with, along with Survivor mastermind Mark Burnett.

Does this mean he's giving up on Making the Band and letting down fans like me? Or is he playing the role of Seacrest on Idol, and taking on way too many jobs for one person?


About the actual episode from tonight.. [If you didn't watch, it shouldn't affect your further reading..] I'm sad that the tour is over tv-wise... and I'm super worried this means the season finale is right around the corner.

What I'm even more worried about--> Danity Kane's breakup rumor actually coming true. There's so many reasons to think that it IS true.. but I won't want to admit it. I'll probably become one of those crazy Clay Aiken fans who blogged about how they'll never live their life the same after he came out...... (ok ok, not that serious.)

Diddy, keep your main priority, which I declare the Making the Band Family, on your mind and at the top of your to-do list at all times. Please.

OMG!! Did you see last night's Making the Band?!

While I will admit that it was super cheesy, Dawn and Que have GOT to be the CUTEST couple EVER!! Oh man, it made me laugh, and made me jealous at the same time!!

Dawn FINALLY dropped the L-bomb on screen.. :)

And that boxers and GOLD sneakers combo! HAHA! I loved every second of it.

I hope ya'll work out cuz it'd be a shame to see the cuteness go to waste! :-P Get married! Just like Que said :)

going solo?

Oh man... after checking everything out, I think it could totally be true. Dawn Richards is working on some sort of solo career, and Diddy is def helping her out, even though he's denying it til the end.. this picture is part of her "promo" set..

Danity Kane members are also denying it.. saying that a break-up is definitely not happening... and of course Mr. Combs doesn't want people giving up on his first prodigy group yet, so he "knows nothing about it." HOWEVERRR, reports are saying that he's been flying her to all sorts of places to help "promote DK".. and just having her secretly meet with him in all different places...

Take a look at this video and tell me if you think he really has no intentions of helping her go solo.. or that he's not favoring her a little bit...

Didn't Diddy tell Aubrey O'Day to NOT come off as a slut?!

I'm sorry, but even though I'm an EXTREMELY loyal fan [I'd consider myself obsessed..] this is just too much for me! I even get sad saying it.. I root for this girl but all of this is just too much.

She's such a hott girl! She sooo doesn't need these pictures to prove it, I promise!

What makes it worse is her interview with them.. She talks about gettin hit on by all the "urban guys".. and even a married, famous NBA star! [I mean, I'm all about putting guys on blast if they deserve it, I guess.. so go 'head girl!]

And really, I can TOTALLY support the half naked... or.. 3/4 naked pictures because her body is hott so why not show it off?! BUT... that FACE! She's totally got an O-face.. which is awkward, to say the least, and really doesn't even look GOOD ever..
