gift guide: for the 90s obsessed

Have someone who is obsessed with the 90s? [Hopefully we've met... I have a feeling we could be best friends.] These gifts are 100% guaranteed to make them love you and what you give them.

If you have a way to print out a large picture or want to make a DIY canvas, these minimalist 90s Nickelodeon posters are awesome. Unfortunately not for sale, but that's where the touch of your hand becomes valuable.

Maybe you wanna go a little more simple and easier for you. This Friends poster is great! It lists all the lessons the show taught you! Right now it's on sale for $6! Easy and cheap.

Any 90s themed T-shirt is fabulous, but only the best 90s fans will know exactly what these shirts are when they see them: Legends of the Hidden Temple. They're only $18!

90s DVD sets- also great. You could go with anything from Boy Meets World to Saved By the Bell to anything Nickelodeon. If you want to go the Nick route, there's a website dedicated to it, with sets from 30-40$.

Speaking of SBTB, who doesn't wanna pretend like they're from Bayside? This sweatshirt is suitable for guys and girls, and is only $34.

If you've ever played Singstar, especially while drunk, you know what an asset it is in your household. Well, they have Singstar for the 90s. It's necessary and only $29.

For those of you who have a lot of money to spend, the 15th Anniversary Edition of the Tamagachi was recently released, is in color, and a whopping $130. Didn't they used to be real cheap?

And finally, the best thing you could give them in my opinion, this HANDHELD SUPER NINTENDO. It's totally worth every penny of the $85, and you can stock them up with a few games from eBay for anywhere from about $2-30.

As for stocking stuffers, I'd recommend things like scrunchies, Beanie Babies, and pogs [that you can find on eBay] that have a dopeness that will never fade.

morning hangover 121511

Good morning! This will probably be my last Hangover until after Christmas! In the meantime, I'll still be posting gift ideas this week, and I have an in-person Real World interview tonight with Ashley and Sam! Also, for random links that I'd normally post on here, make sure to follow me on Twitter, duh!

Internet, give us the goods!

And make sure you see my video of me pranking my boss yesterday by wrapping his entire office like a present. It was fabulous.

gift guide: what to get the fun drinker and/or your college roommate

There are beer bongs, pong tables, shot glasses, etc. that you could get for your favorite drinking buddy, or you could turn the next party up a notch with some of these fun things you probably won't see many people have:

Roulette games. The beer bong may or may not shoot out beer when you pull a peg out, and the gun may or may not shoot a shot after you spin the barrel. There's also the classic roulette with shot glasses. It's fun to take a chance.

Beer pager. Everyone loses their drink... now it's easy to find it again.

Shot-Checkers. It's a game everyone knows how to play, and if you like to get drunk, it's a win-win.

The Go-Plate. Never worry about carrying your drink and your food with a balancing act. Drinks fit right in and hold the plate on top, and best of all- they're reusable and you get 42 in one pack!

Seat cushion-flask. If this isn't genius, I don't know what is. Every college student obviously needs this pronto.

Remote control bottle opener. Now you really never have to get off the couch. Keep that beer fridge as an end table, have this remote, and you're good to go.

FYI.. if anyone is looking for something to get me, I would not be mad about any of these things. Hashtag party animal. [Yeah, I went there.]

watch etv: i wrapped my boss' office with christmas paper

I've been wanting to prank a boss for well over a year now, and with the holiday season approaching [and super cheap wrapping paper at the dollar store], it was the perfect time!

My boss comes into the office around 5:30am, so while he was somewhere in Dreamland, I covered everything in his office in wrapping paper. Then, naturally, set up two cameras to record his reaction.

I'm not going to lie... I was TERRIFIED for a minute this morning. My stomach literally dropped when I woke up around 5:30, knowing it was going down. If he had something important to do, he totally coulda fired me or hated my guts.

Thanks to him running late, he had to be shoved into his office... but considering he's normally a quiet, passive-aggressive type, he had more reaction than I expected him to....

Best part: Him unwrapping his monitor to see himself blown up on the screen. EXTRA SURPRISE!

Thank GOD I work in the industry I do... and that I have awesome coworkers.

watch/listen: girls do amazing covers of a medley of 90s songs

These are FANTASTIC! This duo, named VanJess, has done two medleys of 90s R&B songs and they're just.... great. No other words necessary, just listen.

[In case you're brain farting, these are the songs: Montell Jordan - This is How We Do it, Aaliyah - Back and Forth, Blackstreet - No Diggity, Mack Morrison - Return of the Mack, 2Pac & Dr. Dre - California Love, TLC - Creep]

[Zhane - Hey Mr DJ, Spice Girls - Wannabe, TLC - No Scrubs, En Vogue - Hold On, Dr Dre & Snoop Dogg - Aint Nothing But A G Thang]

Obsessed. Listening again and again.

podcast: what girls should never do vs. what guys should never do

Last week on the show, thanks to inspiration from this video of a guy pole dancing, I decided to talk about what guys and gals should NEVER do [as opposed to what they should do, as talked about before].

I expected a TON of girls attacking guys, as usual, and no guys having the balls to step up to the plate and complain about what girls shouldn't do.

I was so wrong. Listen to what everyone said. Many of them were brutally honest.

"Girls should never say no." Dear sweet baby heyzeus I hope that dude was kidding.

Why is it that girls have so many things we can't do? We're freakin' human beings. So what if we fart?! We're gonna need everyone to relax a little so this world is a funnier place 'cuz let's face it- farts are funny.

gift guide: super easy diy ideas for your besties

It must be a part of growing up, but when it comes to buying your best friend's Christmas gifts, it doesn't really happen much anymore. BUT! Isn't the whole point to show your appreciation for them? Maybe you don't have the money, but you don't have to if you make something! Plus: Chances are- you know what their room looks like and what they like.. plus, they'll appreciate something you make them forever!

Here are some ideas I'm considering! Click the pic for more info [and even more ideas!] on Pinterest!

If you took a picture or scene that was meaningful to both of you and included a quote or lyrics or an inside joke, it'd be great! Only takes a canvas, picture, stickers, and spray paint!

There's no real tutorial for this, but if you're handy at all and have some tools [especially a sodder] it'd probably be fairly easy to hammer wire out into shape.

Cute, simple, and best of all: You can make it out of scraps that you might otherwise throw away.

Each of these costs $1 if you already have paint and pictures! Those plaques/coasters can be bought for a buck at the dollar store or other craft stores.

Any kind of personalized, custom drinkwear is going to be fun, right? Imagine bragging at their next party: "I totally made these." Fun for you, too!

Don't throw out those beer bottles this week... instead, buy some yarn or twine and make them pretty!

If you're going to give a gift card, at least put some thought into it and make it fun for them to unwrap. Plenty of ideas!

A new twist on the picture frame! Black and white keeps it classy and easy to match. Love!

There are also plenty of candle ideas, like decorating votive holders, stamping quotes/lyrics onto them, and making them glittery!

Get crafty! It's fun! [and CHEAP!] You can also use any of the other Pinterest ideas I've already posted about!

i spy: the 1st annual santacon at virginia beach

I first heard of the NYC SantaCon from my fellow MTV TJ friends, then saw there was a fun bar crawl in DC, and then went into depression because I'd be missing out. THEN... we found out Virginia Beach was popping its SantaCon cherry this year!

I didn't know what to expect since it was the first one for the area, but considering it was mostly promoted solely though Facebook, it was pretty damn good! I'd say there was a solid 70+ people strolling through the Oceanfront all afternoon. Though I only made it to about 5 bars between 3-7pm thanks to having to work, they went at least 3 hours longer than me.

Everyone was super rowdy and obnoxious, just the way you should be during the holidays on a Saturday afternoon. Every couple of minutes the group would chant anything from "HO! HO! HO! HO!" to "When I say Santa, You say HO!" And everything in-between. It was one of the most beautiful things I've seen in a while.

As for the costumes, most people were in fact dressed like Santa, but there was also a solid Jack Frost, some elves, and the less prepared like me- ugly Christmas sweaters. The most prominent: Men wearing spandex body suits with added accessories like hanging bells from their balls. Yes.

Here are some of the pictures I took between drinks:

And these are thanks to Bobby Hollywood and Corey's Instagrams and tweets:

Please notice the casual inappropriateness of the top right corner.

Click here for my entire album on Facebook! and see how my night ended, with some seriously split pants, here.

If you have any pics from the event, leave a link in the comment box so we can all share!

UPDATE 8:45pm
Someone posted these pictures that show more of the timeline and random people... and of course more of the crazy.
Here are some of my faves:

watch: first trailer for "men in black 3"

It's really happening! Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are back for a 3rd installment, in 3D!, of "Men in Black!"

It looks like there is going to be a whole lot of time travel and "truth finding" in this one, including jumping back into the 90s and all the way back to 1969, and though their looks may be a bit different, it doesn't look like Will's character will be changing at all.

Check it out, let me know what ya think!
