Oh what a raunchy little song... Kinda. I hate when guys say things like this, but I'm diggin' the song. Not sure how I feel about this Nicki chic, but I think I can get used to her.


Alicia Keys--> Sleeping With a Broken Heart



It's a different sound for Alicia, I feel. It's a softer sound rather than the very bold singing we're used to. I don't hate it, that's for sure. It almost has a 90s feel to me, too.


Benny Blanco--> Bounce



This song isn't anything new, fresh, something we've never heard before, but that doesn't mean it's not going to be a huge hit. It has potential, my friends. I enjoy it.


Chris Brown-- Crawl



Everyone is saying Rihanna's album is going to be a lot of reflecting, but I'm thinking Chris Brown's is going to be too. It's obvious he was hoping for them to get back together, and this is a great, cute song about trying to give it another chance and make it great again.


Green River Ordinance--> Come On



I always think I'm not going to like these songs, and I always skip them on my iPod, but whenever I play them, I totally enjoy them. I don't know who these guys are, but I'll listen.


Pitbull ft. Akon--> Shut it Down



Pitbull and Akon both create gold these days. Need I say more? I'm sure we'll be hearing plenty of this... In the club, on the radio, in the cars... Wherever.


Jessie James--> My Cowboy



Oh snap! Jessie James is on the country side now, too! She's totally my new favorite female [next to Britney, of course.] I love every song she's done, she's totally hott, and anyone can like her... Even guys who don't like country will find something to enjoy here, am I right?!

I have a huge crush on Trey Songz, so I'm a little biased, but I totally do enjoy this song and I thank a certain DC blogger for making me listen to it. Now I'm going to be singing it in my head for the rest of the night.

Another biased opinion because obviously she's my girl... So bias aside- I don't think it's going to be a radio hit, but it's definitely worth a download. It's totally a sexual song.. Leave it to BritBrit.


David Guetta ft. Akon--> Sexy Bitch video



1st of all- I had no idea David Guetta was white. Woopsies. 2nd- HOTT video. Plus after seeing Akon last week, I have an even stronger love for him.

I don't know how I feel about Birdman, but the song has a good beat, and I have a good taste in my mouth when it comes to Jay Sean. Wait... Did that sound.... Nevermind.

Oh wow... Jesse McCartney and T-Pain?!? He's really trying to make sure little Justin Beiber doesn't get in his way! Why do I like these stupid, uber poppy and corny songs? Ugh. I try and deny it, but I can't.

I did not expect homeboy to sound like this after seeing pictures. Apparently he's releasing an album that has a reggae/R&B combination. I'm interested to hear more!

The beginning of the song is really pretty boring, and I don't know that I like the rest much better, but I love her story. She's a YouTube discovery. I wanna be a YouTube discovery!

There's been a lot of Twitter hype about this song and I must say, I'm a little disappointed. I didn't know what to expect, but I don't think I love this like everyone says. It's good and pretty, and maybe it'll grow on ya, but eh.

These people know what they're doing. Every song I've heard is a great party song, or a great song in general. Plus, they have a pretty sweet name.

I heart this man. This may be a typical "I miss my ex" song, but it's a flipping good one. Period.


[Unfortunately, because Country artists somehow protect their songs to the max, that's all the country I have for you today. Ugh. Look up Josh Turner's "Why Don't We Just Dance" and Miranda Lambert's "White Liar." They're bound to blow up the radio soon.

Imagine that. She's wearing a leotard and has two dancers beside her. Why is she feeling her boobs? And seriously.. She needs to fire her choreographer and get a new one because she has the same dance for every song. Ugh.

I actually enjoy this song, it's good to dance to. I'm not used to heard her/them/whatever sing an original song! The video could be better, but whatever. I won't hate... Yet.


Ace Hood ft. Akon and T-Pain--> Overtime



I actually really dig this song, too. I think because I actually enjoy the lyrics... Or at least what they're trying to say.


Black Eyed Peas--> Imma Be



I think BEP had a lot to live up to after Boom Boom Pow, and I don't think this was the song to do it. It's not a terrible song, but it's certainly not my favorite by any means.


Cobra Starship ft. Leighton Meester--> [I Make] Good Girls Go Bad



Leighton Meester= Blair from Gossip Girl. Interesting. The song is okay, she sounds a lot better than I expected her to. I may actually like her songs when she comes out with something of her own. The song as a whole- I give it a C.


Ida Maria--> I Like You So Much Better When You're Naked



This song isn't my absolute favorite, but it's that kind of music that people are going NUTS over lately, so I'm thinking it's going to give this Indie girl a huge in to the pop world. Mark my words.


Daughtry--> No Surprise



Are ya'll ready for another Chris Daughtry song to take over the airwaves? He's back! I fully enjoy this song, too. For once a song admitting that both people knew a breakup was coming, and it's alright. Oh Chris.. You're great. Can you believe this is the first song from his second album!? All of those before were from his debut album. Wow.


Finally, your American Idol! Kris Allen--> No Boundaries



It's maybe one of my lesser favorite Idol songs, but it's growing on me. And since Kris won, I definitely won't complain when I hear it on the radio.

This one is probably going to be big, too. It's Katy Perry, it's about Vegas, and apparently it has a crazy video. She's stickin' around.

No idea who this girl is, but I'm LOVIN' the song! I love the remix/sample/whatever of the old Goodbye song, with a little kick! Could she be the new hottness?! This song will be, I bet.

The words are really pretty corny, but because his name is on this song [even though he's not that tite...], it'll probably become something. Brace yourselves, people.

OOH!! I love this!!! She's like... Part Pink, Part Christina Aguilera, and maybe part Kelly Clarkson... I love it! It's more of a style that we would have been sick of a couple years ago, but this might be my favorite of tonight. Maybe. I don't know.

Ummm... Hmmm... Eh. I'm whatever with this song. Don't hate it, but I don't think it'll do to hott either.


Taylor Swift--> You Belong With Me

Make way for MORE Taylor Swift! She's basically like Carrie. She comes out with a song, and you're going to hear it, a lot, whether you like it or not. Take this as a warning: Here comes another one. [And maybe it's not TERRIBLE, but it's her, and I'm a hater sometimes.]


Darius Rucker--> Alright

This isn't my favorite of his first 3 singles, but it's not bad. You definitely hear his Hootie coming out. I like the song, I'm just not crazy about it. I could totally change my mind and love it, though. I already am kinda.


Bucky Covington--> I Want My Life Back



Typical, sad country song. It reminds me of "The Good Stuff" for some really odd reason. I'm still surprised this guy is making it. He was terrible on Idol. But hey, Idols succeed in the country world all crazy. I love it.

It's not the whole song, or video... It's just a sneak peak. BUT! This song AND video looks like it is going to be HOTT! So I'm pretty excited for it.

Another from Flo Rida! And another with a familiar sound-- Eiffel 65's "Blue." This is definitely a less annoying version of the song, the lyrics are fabulous, and I'm just going to say it... People are going to love it. Flo Rida is here, ya'll.


The Dream ft. Mariah Carey--> My Love



I still can't believe this voice comes out of that guy.. How weird. The song is pretty good... Nothing I'm drooling over, but definitely worth a listen. Mariah is all gangster in this video, it's funny to me.


Keri Hilson--> Slow Dance

This girl is amazing. This song is great. It's hott and sexual like the other one, too. She's going to have people bumpin' and grindin' to her stuff. Ohh snap!

I love both of them, and I love this song. It's great, and definitely worth your time and money, I think. Plus, she looks super in this video! It is very movie soundtrack, though.

Woahh.. A lady rapper!! Or.. duo... I can't decide how I feel about this song. I think I like the chorus, but the rest I'm really unsure on. Poll: Do you like it?

Billy Currington--> People Are Crazy



Not slow, not fast, almost just right. I kind of want it to be a LITTLE faster, but I like the lyrics a lot, no big surprise here. He's doin' his thing.


Derek Sholl--> But it Was



I have no idea who this guy is, and he doesn't have a whole lot of plays on his MySpace, but he should. This is a precious song, and I fully enjoy it. It's sappy, but I like it.


So, I'm going to do a full post on this guy either tomorrow or Thursday, but why not point out one of his songs now? It's Ryan Star, the current opener for David Cook's University Tour, and this is "This Could Be The Year."

He's hott, and he's an amazing singer and performer, so I want to point him out to everyone. Definitely check more out, and be ready for a Ryan Star-dedicated post.

I also have really been enjoying The Dream. His voice is super pretty, as I've said before.. The video is interesting, but I kinda like it. Maybe I'm just in a good mood? Who knows.

I don't love it, but I definitely don't dislike it either. It's just a little plain to me, that's all. It's a good song to study to or something, ya know? Something to calm you down but not grab your attention. :)

Umm, I love this song. They really are a good match music-wise, and they need to do it more. They performed it on Ellen, and I loved every second of it. I've been hooked ever since, and if you like their stuff, I think you will be too.


Ron Browz ft. Forever the Sickest Kids--> Jumpin' Out the Window Remix



Yeahh, I like this one too. It'll get you hype! If you're about to go work out, or you are working out, I feel like this is the song to do it to.


Romeo ft. Akon--> Get Low Wit' It



Okay, if you can get past the fact that Romeo still looks like he's 10, it's not a baddd song. Anything with Akon is good, right?! I'd give the song a C+ if I was its teacher.


Jazmine Sullivan--> Lions, Tigers and Bears

This girl is somethin' else. She's got a serious talent. I love this song. I like the lyrics, the meaning, I like the tune, I like her voice.. I like it all.


Ballas Hough Band--> I'll Do It For You



A boy/girl music group? Are they S Club 7?! Okay.. Far from it. But I'm thinking I'm in a good mood because this song is good, too. It's VERY pop.. So if you like Pop music, you'll like this. Plus, it's cute. :)


Rebstar ft. Trey Songz--> Without You



This song is NOTHING like I expected it to be after the beginning of it.. And I still don't know if I really understand the video, but whatever. This Rebstar guy is okay.. Not the best.. But I LOVE Trey Songz, and he definitely saved the song. So it's definitely downloadable.


Darren Kozelsky Band--> Good Day to Get Gone





This new country band is GOOD STUFF! I love this song. It's one of those "I just got paid now let's get outta here and have a good time" songs! I love it. And the rest of their stuff is good, too.


Eric Church--> Love Your Love the Most



This is just a nice little love song for Valentines Day. :) It's nice and slow and chill and all about loving everything... But your love the most. How precious.

Nice collabo of people, for sure! The two of them are taking over the music world. I like the song, it's got a cool beat and stuff. But for the words, they're very powerful in the sense that she's going to kick his you know what, so I feel like the whole song should be more powerful. But it's not terrible.


Katy Perry--> Thinking of You



Wow, I'm impressed. Not that I didn't like "I Kissed a Girl," but I never would expect Katy Perry to come out with a song like this. I really like it, too. Hmm. Nice. I like the video too. Maybe she's about to be something big, eh?


Teriyaki Boys Ft. Pharrell and Chris Brown--> Work That



This is so wack. And I'm mad that Chris and Pharrell had anything to do with this, because it's terrible. It's a waste of a decent beat. Ugh. I'm mad.


J Holiday--> Fall

I enjoy this song. It's nice. I like him, too.. I feel like he's not around much, but maybe that's just the radio stations I listen to.. Who knows. It's a cute song, though. A nice little love/crush song. :-P


Freeway ft. James Blunt--> When I Die



Here's a rap song for ya'll. It's not bad.. I think the most interesting thing is that James Blunt is a part of it. I never would have expected him to be singing on a rap track, but I'm okay with it.


And for you country fans, here's a new one from Josh Gracin--> Telluride

Typical, nice, country love song about a fun time. I love it. But I'm biased when it comes to former AI contestant Josh Gracin. It's good, though. Promise. :)

I really kinda like this song. And I want to learn the dance. I wonder if it will be one that everyone learns, or one that I'll be completely alone in doing..? I know!! How about you learn it too!! ;) It doesn't look hard, but it looks cool!


Jesse McCartney--> How Do You Sleep



It's very Jesse. That's the only way to describe it. It's not my most favorite song of his, but it's not terrible, either. If you like him, you'll probably like it. If not, you probably won't.


Akon, TI, Snoop Dogg--> Day Dreaming

Ummm, I LOVE IT! Really, I do. What a sweet combination! Snoop's voice kinda comes out of nowhere, I feel, but it's okay.. I'm okay with it. It brings a different flavor to the Akon sound. Officially downloaded.


Jamie Foxx ft. Yung Joc and T-Pain--> Blame It

This song is cool, too. I'm not jumping for joy.. Especially because I need more Jamie Foxx in it.. But the song is cool and the lyrics are interesting. :)

I like the song, and I like the lyrics, and I totally love anything Akon, duh. It's very typical for him, so of course I don't hate it. It seems kinda plain to me, but it's worth a download.

Call me American Idol biased, but I like the song. It's very teenager-breakup song, but I love these! :-P The video is good, too, I think. I like the taking pictures concept. The only thing that urks me is when he looks into the camera. There's something awkward about how he looks, but I can't put my finger on it. Meh, download it.


Justin Timberlake ft. T.I--> If I



Okay, I love what this song is about.. And I love JT's parts. But TI sounds... Not so hott to me in this song. I'm actually kinda anti him being on the track. I don't know though. Maybe this is what worked best. Good song though.


Jagged Edge ft. Nelly--> Part Time Girl



I totally love this song. I don't know why. I don't know what brings me into it, I can just chill to it, I think. His voice is so pretty, I've always thought so, and I like the lyrics, I think.

I know I know, I'm a day and 2 hours late, but please forgive me. It's been a super busy couple of days, so like I said before, it's better late than never, right?!

Of course, first I have some Britney for you.

The UNofficial video of "Circus" [Still some editing to be done, apparently. Official release date= during ET on Friday.]



I love it. I knew I'd love it when I saw her filming it on "For the Record" though. "The lights are in her eyes again." What's funny is the convenient product placement advertising for her perfumes at the very beginning.. Way to go, girl! But really, I have grown to love this song more than Womanizer, and this video is good and different.


Tami Chynn ft. Akon--> Frozen



Hmmm. I like it. I think it's very typical of most things coming out right now.. The whole lots of computer generated voices with a good beat and catchy chorus.. But it's not bad, and I can enjoy it. The video, eh. Not a fan. This Tami girl, don't know how I feel about her, but I don't think it's anything good. We'll see.


Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes featuring TLC and Missy Elliot--> Let's Just Do It



Yeah, you heard and saw right. She pulled a Tupac. The late Left Eye recorded this song as a part of her single album "Eye Legacy" and it has recently been released to the radio stations. I think I'm a little biased just because I loved this girl, and I think she's great.. But I'll admit, I like this song. I also love Missy. And TLC. I love that Chili and Missy were able to take this song and add a more up to date beat and record their vocals for the song and to remember their friend. Precious.


Soulja Boy ft. Sammie--> Kiss Me Thru The Phone



Ugh. I didn't think I'd like it because it's Soulja Boy, but then I heard the beginning, AKA the chorus, and I was sold. Then, he started rapping, and now I'm returning my purchase. It's a shame, really. He should have been one of those crazy 1 hit wonder guys.. Sorry, but I don't see the really great talent that some people do. Sammie, well done.

He's back! Remember from American Idol? And he sang "Wait for You." This song is very much like every other song I have heard him do, which is a good thing! I totally approve. [Of course! He's an Idol... ;-P]


Yung Jeezy feat. Pharrell--> Rumor Has it



It's good, but not amazing. I love everything Pharrell does, but this isn't one of my most favorites. I don't know how much I like the way they "compliment" each other.

SUCH a clever song! I laughed a lot. Sound-wise, or overall song-wise, I'm not a huge fan.. But I LOVE the lyrics.


Chris Brown--> Froze



A slow song from Chris! I feel like it's been a while since I have heard one from him, and I love this one! Lyrics are pretty good, too. I approve, for sure.

I don't like it. At all. I LOVE the original version, so maybe that's why, but this is terrible to me. Ugh, remixes aren't ALWAYS necessary, guys.

ALERT!! NEW BRITNEY SONG!!! YESSSS

"Kill the Lights"




Wow, I'm not a fan of the beginning of the song, but I can get down with the rest of it!! :) It's very much like a lot of her recent things, which makes me reallllly hope that there is going to be SOMETHING different on December 2. Either way, it's another good song to dance to from BritBrit.. And she's making a comeback. :) And she does the little laugh at the end that she used to do a lot! Maybe that's a good sign?!


Christina Aguilera--> Dynamite



Hmm, she did the whole computer-sound thing. Of all people, Christina doesn't need to do this. It's not as extreme as say Kanye, but there's a hint of it and I'm not sure how I feel about it. It's a fun song, a dance-tune, but honestly... It could be on Britney's album I feel.. And I think the whole having similar songs as each other things ended in the 90s. So, good song, but not for Christina, I guess.


Beyonce--> Radio



Again, the whole computer-ific background/beat. All of these songs could be on the same album. At least she's still using her actual voice.. Not messed with. And even though I'm normally a Beyonce-hater, I do like this song. It's a listen-to-in-the-car type song. It can get you pumped for things, maybe. Not bad. But don't tell anyone I said that... ;)


Kat DeLuna--> Am I Dreaming?



Okay, the beginning, before the words, sounds like I'm about to jump into a video game.. And it doesn't exactly stop. Her voice is amazing; she sounds a lot like Mariah in a lot of parts. I like the words, too.. But as for it all coming together, it didn't. Probably why I haven't heard of her.


Usher--> At the Time



OMG I'M SO EXCITED!!! I've never NOT liked something from Usher, but I wasn't loving anything recently.. Not like his old stuff anyways. I LOVE this song. Everything about it. That's all I have to say.


Akon ft. Kardinal Offishall and Colby O'Donis--> Beautiful Remix



Apparently there are TONS of remixes of this song, but I really like this one out of them all. Another up-beat type of song that will put you in a good mood, and has decently good lyrics. :) Plus, Akon is the man. We've already established this.

T-Pain ft. Chris Brown- Freeze



Now, I think anything either of these 2 guys do right now is gonna be hott. And I don't know that this is an exception. I definitely like it, it's got a good beat, they sound good. Only beef I have is the beat-boxing. It's super cool and different, but comes out of nowhere. But who knows, maybe in another couple listens, I'll love it.. and be trying to do it. (Oh boy.)


Nicole Wray- Dice Roll



The only song I have on my iTunes from her is "I Wanna Kiss You" so I don't know much about her. This is the first single from her upcoming album. I like the idea of the song, and what she's saying and all that, but I don't know how I feel about the overall sound. She's very Fantasia or Macy Gray, right?! Which is cool, I just don't know if it works all together.


Akon ft. Lil Wayne- Get Paid



I feel like maybe I'm late on this and heard someone talking about it before, but I could be wrong.. who knows. Anyways, two more guys who no one can get enough of right now, so it's not going to be a good song. But, I don't think it's anything new or something that hasn't been doing. For some reason the chorus reminds me of the Pretty Ricky song "My Body"... Am I alone? Eh, it's not bad. I'll download it. But it's nothing for me to be excited about.


Christina Millian- Us Against The World



This is the first single for Christina from her album which is set to be released sometime Spring 2009. She calls it a "cinematic power ballad" and I think I agree. I definitely like the song. Unfortunately, as some of you may have noticed, I tend to be a bit biased, and I definitely have always liked her. I also like cute love songs. ;) But I think this is a great song.. and a great single to get that album started!


Rehab- The Bartender Song



Someone over the summer told me this was a really old song. Still, when it got played the other day, I heard so many people saying "what is this song?" Well, it's the Bartender Song. And it's hilarious. So if you havent heard it yet, today is the day.


I'm trying to find some country out there for my country lovers, but I'm having a harder time than I hoped. Sorry!

To be honest, at first I was a little hesitant about the song.. I felt like I expected more out of him. But then I started bumpin to it.. and dancin.. and listening to what he was really trying to say. And I realized that this is probably going to be another chart topper by one of the current geniuses of the music world.

Akon, you're one of a kind. You may have a computerized voice, but it's amazing and genius.
