It's not as "bad" as you'd imagine from a JoBro... it's super catchy and very reminiscent of the early 2000s. I don't think it'll hit the top of the charts, but it might be heard quite a bit.

She's lookin' to shatter records with this album. This is single #6 that has a pretty good chance at #1. Listeners loved it, and I kinda do too.
Bruno Mars--> It Will Rain
It's from the upcoming Twilight movie soo... FAIL. Just kidding. It's alright.
Steve Hott--> Here For You
Cool name, duder. It's a little Daughtry-esque, without the big American Idol name standing behind him. I definitely don't hate it, but I don't know how it'll do.
BoB ft. Lil Wayne--> Strange Clouds
The bass is a little obnoxious, but I like BoB. Maybe it'll sound better on better speakers... or something...

If I had a hangover and this song came on, I'd throw my stereo out the window old school style. It's fun, it'll definitely be fun to dance to, but heyzeus they're going for the Katy Perry TGIF sound and it's not working for a "Hangover."

OMG! I LOVE it!!!!! I knew I was going to like his music, but I was a little worried that it would fall under the same category as Blake Lewis's-- Good, but not good enough to be a radio hit. Ummm... I could listen to this over and over again. It has the Jason Mraz/John Mayer feel I assumed it would, but better! Gah. Obsessed.
Whitney Houston--> Million Dollar Bill
She looks great, and she sounds the same as she always did! It even sounds like a classic Whitney song with a little upgrade. I'm pumped.
Jessie James--> I Look So Good [Without You]
I really like her. I love her sound, and she's totally hott! [So is the video!] I love everything about this song, and it's going to be huge. Mark my word.
Black Eyed Peas--> Meet Me Halfway
I hope you weren't ready for the Black Eyed Peas to fade away. They've taken over the charts all summer, and just as you might be getting sick of "I Gotta Feeling," they're releasing a new one. I really don't think it's an amazing song at all, but I didn't think so about the last one, either.
Leona Lewis--> Happy
Speaking of people who have songs you can't get off the radio.. She's baaaacckkkk. It's a bit slow. I don't really ever get into it because of that, but maybe it'll grow on me. I feel like it may be fun to sing once I know it.
The Ting Tings--> Great DJ
Yikes.. I just don't know about some of these songs. I really don't know about the Ting Tings in general but... Urgh. I know this is going to be played all types of crazy. Fabulous.

This song has a very soundtrack feel to me, but I really do like it. It may have something to do with Flo-Rida being involved, but what's it matter? It's a good song.
Amy Pearson-- Butterfingers
She's an Australian pop singer, and that's exactly what this song is. I do kinda like it. Some of the lyrics are things I feel a guy should say but.... Whatever floats your boat, woman.
Darin Jassy ft. David Jassy--> Pop That
I was really worried that this song would be called "Pop That" and not be a good dance song.. But I can TOTALLY get down to this! He's a SWEDISH pop singer! Hmmm.. Am I going to start going global with my choice of music!?

Not a bad song at all! I'm not going OMG OMG LISTEN NOW, but it's definitely worth your time and a download.... And multiple listens.
Ester Dean ft. Chris Brown--> Drop it Low
I know a lot of you aren't supportive of Chris Brown but I am so excited to see him in a music video again! First of all- the song is hott. Second- he's still got it! [Not that he really has had anything else to do but practice.. but still.] I'm not sure how I feel about Miss Ester, but I enjoy this.

Whattt.. Flo Rida in a Disney movie?! Well, his music anyway! That's interesting. I'm definitely a Flo Rida fan, not going to lie. I like this song, even though it's not his best.
Tinchy Stryder ft. Amelle Berrabah--> Never Leave You
Nope, I have no clue who these people are except for that he's British and she's from the Sugababes. I dig the song, though. It sounds like something else but I can't figure out what it is as this very second.
Paul Wall ft. Baby Bash--> Lemon Drop
This is one of those songs that I don't hate, but I probably won't be rollin' around bumpin to on my own time. It's not bad, though. I'm sure lots of people will be rollin' around with it. Plus, it's not exactly G-rated.
Jadyn Maria ft. Flo Rida--> Good Girls Like Bad Boys
Imagine that, another song involving Flo Rida. Imagine that, I kinda like it. It's still nothing I'm super excited about, but it brings up the valid point... Why DO the good girls like bad boys?!?

This is homeboy's first single and he's rockin' with Kanye and John Legend on it?! Shooottt... He's set! He sounds a lot like Kanye to me, though. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing? It's not terrible but really, this isn't my thing.
Sugababes--> Get Sexy
Oh.. So THESE are the Sugababes. Ummm, I love it!! I like how some people are using old songs in the new ones now and revamping them. It's fun. I like what it's about and I think it has a good beat. I enjoy.
Tim McGraw--> It's a Business Doing Pleasure With You
Leave it to Tim McGraw to point out the truth! Never thought this would be a song, and never really thought of it the way the title does, but shoot! With some people it IS a business doing pleasure with them! I enjoy.

Brad has definitely done some better songs. I'm a little disappointed, actually. It's not terrible, I just want every one of his songs to be GREAT!

Ha, the whistle thing TOTALLY reels me in! I love it! Dude, this song can totally get you pumped up and you don't even expect it to! I think it's great.

Ooh la la, who is THIS boy?! I really enjoy his voice for some reason. The song is good, too... I also enjoy the lyrics. He gets an A!

I normally don't listen to this music a whole lot, but for some reason I've been getting into it again. This isn't bad at all. I think anyone could like it, really. It's a little cheesy during the chorus, but whatever.

So he's some British pop star and has had multiple hits or something... Is it bad that I kinda like this song? It's definitely cheesy, but who cares?! And apparently Wayne is all about helpin' people lately.

In case ya'll forgot, I totally debuted this song months ago, and I have absolutely loved it from the second I heard it. Question, though... Why does this video look like something a small-town amateur would do?

Hmmm... Maybe it's good that they came out with "Boom Boom Pow" first so that they got a bunch of people wanting to hear more, but I have yet to be uber impressed since that song. I don't know.. This one is OK I guess...

So this girl was discovered after covering Justin Timberlake's "What Goes Around" and now he's producing this song. You'd never be able to tell by this video, but she's veryyyy Spanish. Or Hispanic, or Latina or whatever it is. I like the song though... I can hang with it.

Okay, I take back what I said before, I think. This is actually the new official single being released to all the stations, and I'm glad. I still don't like as much as BBP, but I like it... It's funny, and has a decent beat. Phew.
Beyonce--> Sweet Dreams
Woah. Could this be.... A different sound from B? No... It's almost like... I've never heard something like this from her! It has a different beat! I'm not CRAZY about it, but I like it.. And it gets 10 points for being different than the usual. BUT! Will she wear a leotard and have 2 dancers???
Lovesick Radio--> Loser of the Year
Consider me a big fan of them now, after hanging with them for a day. [Elaborate post coming ASAP.] So I'm pretty sure this is going to be their next single and I think you need to listen. Also, listen to more of them... Especially when they do covers at live performances. They're fab.
Shea Fisher--> Don't Chase Me
She reminds me of a brunette Julianne Hough or something. She also has the potential to pull a Carrie or Taylor and do pop and country. The weird cheer in the beginning and middle needs to go, though.
Jason Aldean--> Big Green Tractor
I fully enjoy Jason Aldean, and this song is alright, but it's not fabulous. Probably something I'll play on the random, but not something I'll be excited to hear.

I mean... Cool idea, I guess. Lyrics that you hear a lot in the country world but uh... These people were never talented, they just had a good voice for a funny song about Barbie. Why do they think it's a good idea to try and come back into the music world? Bad, bad idea.

I'm really trying to imagine this kids life in about 15 years. It looks so scandalous and dark. Unless, of course, he uses his amazing skills to become a choreographer.

Another from Flo Rida! And another with a familiar sound-- Eiffel 65's "Blue." This is definitely a less annoying version of the song, the lyrics are fabulous, and I'm just going to say it... People are going to love it. Flo Rida is here, ya'll.
The Dream ft. Mariah Carey--> My Love
I still can't believe this voice comes out of that guy.. How weird. The song is pretty good... Nothing I'm drooling over, but definitely worth a listen. Mariah is all gangster in this video, it's funny to me.
Keri Hilson--> Slow Dance
This girl is amazing. This song is great. It's hott and sexual like the other one, too. She's going to have people bumpin' and grindin' to her stuff. Ohh snap!

Not slow, not fast, almost just right. I kind of want it to be a LITTLE faster, but I like the lyrics a lot, no big surprise here. He's doin' his thing.

I have no idea who this guy is, and he doesn't have a whole lot of plays on his MySpace, but he should. This is a precious song, and I fully enjoy it. It's sappy, but I like it.
So, I'm going to do a full post on this guy either tomorrow or Thursday, but why not point out one of his songs now? It's Ryan Star, the current opener for David Cook's University Tour, and this is "This Could Be The Year."
He's hott, and he's an amazing singer and performer, so I want to point him out to everyone. Definitely check more out, and be ready for a Ryan Star-dedicated post.

The rules, as they say: Rule One: No poppin up un-announced, Rule Two: Never leave no clothes at my house, Rule Three: Can't speak if you see when I'm out, Rule Four: You cant' stay pass five, I gotta be to work by nine... Love it.

I don't know how much I like the reggae-voice sound, but I like the beat, which makes it an okay song. There's a part 1 and part 2, I'm sorry I don't know which one this is. Shoot me.

Yesyesyes, it's something I can listen to multiple times, and I love the lyrics, too. That doesn't always happen with these types of songs, but it did this time. And honestly, I won't even complain about Kanye right now. Bravo, friends!

This is cute and pretty and soft and genuine-sounding. I'm keeping it short and sweet.. I like it. [We KINDA know them. They're two sisters from the group Cherish.]

She's the girl who sings the t-shirt song [and performed for HOT 99.5 last weekend for their Bra's Across DC event!] and she's got a really pretty voice! [Seems unusual these days..] I like this song, but it's exactly my style. It's a song for my ladies! So listen to it, love it, download it, do what you gotta do. :)

This and "Irreplaceable" are the only ones I love from her.. Even if she kinda sorta stole the song. It's an interesting video, too.. But I think I like it; it's cute [until it kinda turns bad]. I planned on making this week's "Tunes on Tuesday" [catchy, right? I just thought of it.. :-P] completely dedicated to Woodbridge/Northern VA up-n-comers. I guess I will post-pone that til next week thanks to the lack of being able to get ahold of some people. ;)
First up: Pink--> Sober
I think this song [which is her second single from her latest album] is very different for Pink, but I'm not complaining. At first I was a little unsure, but it's another one of those you have to warm up to. I'm a little confused on what it's really about. Is it actually a love song from Pink? Or is she talking about drugs, and coming down from them? Hmmm. Either way, I enjoy.
Next: Montana Tucker ft. Flo Rida--> Turn It Up
First of all, who is Montana Tucker? I had no idea what to expect when I heard this. I was wondering if it was some country singer or something! Sounds like it, right? Anyways, no wonder I haven't heard of her before, she sounds terrible! She sounds very disney-star-turned-singer. Apparently she's some amazing dancer. I'll have to check some stuff out because her singing is not up to par for me. The song could be good, but I'm sick of computerized voices.
How 'bout Ace of Base--> Wheel of Fortune 2009
ACE OF BASE IS BACK?! CAN IT BE TRUE?! I was pumped when I saw this, since they were the first album I ever bought back in the day. I am let down, though. I'm not saying it's a bad song necessarily, but it's VERY European, and I don't see it working here. Maybe out at some clubs, but definitely not radio. But who knows, I could be wrong. It's being released to promote their Greatest Hits album worldwide, which explains the not-exactly-American aspect.
and Brutha ft. Fabolous--> Can't Hear the Music
The new group called Brutha just received my seal of approval. This is a fun, but pretty song! Their voices are great! [They might be giving Day26 a run for their money real quick!] They're even coming out with their own show called "My Brother's Keeper" on BET in November, and their music video premieres TOMORROW so I'll be sure to get that for everyone. I think we oughtta keep an eye on these guys.
Finally, I'm going to give you one NoVA-nator, as I'd like to call those kids from Northern Virginia. This is Duke Nice/GP/John Mayer--> Neon Mix
This guy, Duke Nice, went to my high school and has been working really hard ever since with this music thing. He's grown a lot, and he's only going to get better. As of October 25 he'll have a new site up so that everyone can check out what he's been working on. It's something different, something anyone and everyone can enjoy. They took "one of their favorite John Mayer songs" and remixed it to turn it into a great vibe of a song. I advise you check it out. :)
