wearing: baby pink

The Kane Show announced that they were throwing a baby shower for Danni at a casino with Ed Sheeran and I was trying to figure out ways to make my way in. Then... magic happened... my boss demanded that I arrange my schedule so that I could be there yesterday. 

Oh.. okay... I'll see what I can do. 

It was really awesome. Being in any environment with a bunch of listeners is always my favorite ever [even though two out of the three times someone knew me, it was because of the Real World days], but being around the Kane Show and my new Baltimore team made me feel a part of the fam even more.

I wish I would have actually pulled out my good camera instead of only using my phone for Instagram... but they are a seriously adorable couple.

Ed was crazy good, and really personable with all the listeners. Videos over he-uh. 

People kept telling me to relax, but when I'm in work mode, I'm in it. Pictures x a million! INSTAGRAM. NOW. HASHTAG. @(#$*&@$(*#

But I was genuinely honored to be there for the moment, event, day... and I'm super impressed with my team for making it happen and happen with greatness. 

Now some outfit details. I had to go with pink for the baby girl 2.0 Danni's having! I wanted to do 100% pink, but I couldn't find a top in a shade of pink that went with this skirt at all. I'm happy with it.

I love that the skirt is longer even if I have it at my rib cage... it's appropriate for anything! And the pleats make it more fancy. Did I mention it was $10?! The entire outfit was under $40. Holler. back.

The American Music Awards last night spent some time reminiscing on "the good ol' days" throughout the show, but now it's time to see more. I wanted to compare last night's sights with those of the past.

In 1992, Boys II Men won the R&B/Soul award... while Usher [drunkenly] accepted it last night.

In 2003, Pink took the stage with an acoustic version of "Trouble..."

And last night she killed it with her "Try" performance...

And just for fun, here's what Britney Spears looked like in 2003, just two years after rocking that denim look with Justin Timberlake.

Last night's show was pretty good, I'm not going to act like I hated it. I was a tweeting machine most of the night, so you can see how I felt about it there... 

Yay awards season! Judging people is fun.

watch: awesome britney video to pink's "perfect"

She's been through a lot, but she's still our girl, we like to think she's perfect, and this video was put together beautifully to Pink's "F#@*ing Perfect" song. Beware: It says the f-bomb in this one.

pink's baby bump is weird

Tweet Pink is one of those hardcore, badass lady celebs, and has always had the body to go with that reputation/image. When we found out she was preggers last week, I tried to imagine her with a baby bump and honestly couldn't.

Now I don't have to use my imagination. She stepped out on the beach in a bikini and showed off her new addition [whether that be pounds or a baby or both].

She's definitely glowing and I'm more than excited to see her as a mom, but does anyone else just think it's weird?!

Seeing her out of shape is like seeing a championship runner in a wheelchair or something. [OK, maybe an exaggeration, but still...]

I can't wait to see her bump get bigger and find out if it's a boy or a girl! I hope she still does crazy acrobats in the air after she becomes a mom.

rihanna is having an identity crisis

Rihanna is on tour in Europe right now and is putting on quite the show, it looks like.

Here were some of her outfits in the Netherlands this past weekend:

Seems like she's channeling her inner Lady Gaga, right?!

Maybe it's just a new trend. Maybe everyone is trying to go all weird and outrageous and unpredictable....

But knowing that Rihanna came on to the scene a completely different person, and seeing that she's taking a lot of looks of others' and putting them into her show, I'd say she's in a bit of an identity crisis or something.

Pink totally did this white duct tape looking suit first.



Is she trying to be in the Mickey Mouse Club? It's a little late...



Too bad we can't see more of what the design was that was lighting up... I'm sure it had to have some meaning... right?!

I'm not hating on her. I'm totally rooting for her. I just feel like she needs to start having her own image or something. Everything keeps changing and nothing ever seems "right."

Maybe I'm wrong, but let's be honest... The proof is there. Homegirl is trying to find herself and is having a little trouble with the creativity aspect.

pink tries the nude suit

Another female is copycatting BritBrit's ways! Pink performed in a completely nude-colored outfit donned with rhinestones and what seems to be masking tape all over her body last week in Seattle.

First of all... I'm just going to say it. Britney did this whole nude-suit plus rhinestones thing the best. No one is going to top her.

On another note... Pink completely trumps Heidi Montag.

I don't understand the random white stripes, though. It really does look like the outfit started to rip so they threw some masking tape in random places just to hold it all together.

I want to say this is absolutely ridiculous and hideous and stupid and WTF PINK?!?! ....But I know that she puts on an amazing show that I have yet to see, so I will refrain from saying such things.

She probably needs to talk to Lady Gaga before the weirdo freaks out because she didn't come up with this outfit first.
