Brandon and I were back at it again last week, completing the dares people submitted that were Olympics-themed!
We did synchronized "diving," belly flops, and super fast swimming... but I'll be honest- The "synchronized diving into personal space" is totally the new "Dance Dare."
How is it that we'd CLEARLY jump all up into their business, and they STILL wouldn't really notice anything going on behind them?! Yikes, this world is beyond oblivious. NONE of the "victims" ever even saw the cameras.
On a side note- I'm beyond sad the Olympics are over, but they were hella fun while they lasted, right?! Maybe we can do some Shark Week related dares or something now....
OMG. I can't even begin to tell you guys how excited I am right now!
I've known [and told you in a podcast] that the next Real World would be in Portland for a little while, but I was waiting for some good details to share with you. Well friends, those details are finally here! But that's not exactly why I'm excited.
He even posted a video of a mysterious dog on their balcony/porch/rooftop! [Which, by the way, is pretty neat... but while BMP probably thought they were being sneaky and hidden up there, they had no idea this spy dude existed.
Some people may have thought I'd be jealous when someone did this, but absolutely not! [Truth is, I know I was the first to do it on Twitter/video/blog/podcast, so it's fine! ;)] I'm so excited to see what they post and I'd really like to talk to him ASAP!
I'll RT stuff I think is interesting, and of course keep you updated on here with big happenings. In the meantime, here are some of the things he's posted:
And as soon as I saw that picture, it totally took me back to RWDC. I know we shouldn't always compare, but whatever. It looks so much like the scene on S St.
Well, maybe not exactly in the pictures... but definitely in my real-life memory. ;)
I think that last picture seems very old-school Real World for some reason... Of course, just a first impression off four pictures of people I know nothing about, but that's fine.
We do know some stuff about one person, though! Meet Averey Tressler:
21
From Tecumseh, Michigan, now lives in Phoenix/Temple, Arizona
Hooters waitress
Played basketball and volleyball
[That second picture is her HS senior portrait from 2009, I believe...]
Not much to know about her as of now, but Hooters waitresses always provide a good time, eh?!
And that's basically the gist of what's been happening in the past week! Comment or tweet me about your thoughts on Portland and the new "spy!"
Finally got Laura on, and with perfect timing! Last night's episode was pretty crazy with her having a good time and Trey being the ultimate Debbie Downer on life.
Obviously we had to talk about all of that... and as much as she hated it at the time and agreed with my opinions, she told me I shouldn't ream him out next time I have him on.
She also let us in on where Trey and the other roommates had been before he "randomly" showed up at the same club she was at... and also the grossness that went down when they got home/between the yelling fits.
Beyond that dramz, she compared Marie to Trey when it comes to relationships and revealed who was the first roommate to really get on her nerves.
I'll be honest, I expected her pets at home to have much more *different* names, but I do enjoy the other nicknames she has come up with.
Starting next week, I will post a poll as soon as the new episode is done for you to vote for the next interview/podcast! Then I will hope and assume that that person is down since I've really had a great time with all of them so far! Very easy to talk to!
A couple Fridays ago it was "National Walk on Stilts Day" again. Last year, I made my coworkers try my stilts out, this time I had volunteers while doing at event at the Nissan of Chesapeake!
These guys were down to try them immediately, even though they had dress pants and shoes on, and even trusted just me to spot them. Luckily, I convinced them I'd need more help... and they soon found out why.
Watch the crashes!
I try to tell people all the time- you just have to go for it! No holding back, get your chest up, and sieze the moment. Wait... am I talking about life or the stilts now?
Either way, it's true! If you ever see me out and about, I ALWAYS have them in my trunk, and I love a reason to bring them out, so ask to give them a try! We'll have fun!
