meet my new little nugget!

I've been saying that Slutty Cat needed a friend ever since I moved to Texas, and now we finally got her one! Meet Lil Nugget!

IIII KNOW! He's perfect. I've always wanted a little ginger cat.

When we picked him out, I figured Slutty would go back into mommy mode and take care of him because he's only 6 weeks old. I thought she'd love him and be besties and probably try to hump him when he got bigger [in more ways than one]. *And yes, they're allowed to hump. They're not blood related!*

All of my visions were so wrong. All she's done is watch him like a hawk and hate his guts.

Hopefully one day they'll be friends. Until then, allow me to show you the many faces of Nugget. [FYI he doesn't have an official name yet, but Charlie, Bailey, and Kirby are up for grabs right now. Feel free to vote!]

This is my "I'm photogenic and adorable so take more pics, please!" face.

This is my glamour shot.

This is me practicing my senior portrait.

*Tell me it's real, this feeling that we feel!*

 Watch me go! I'm awesome!

BETCHYA CAN'T FIND ME BACK HERE!

 RAWWRR I'm Simba!

This is my "I know I'm cute, Mom... but I'm trying to sleep so please stop taking pictures" face.

Yoga kitty!

Hey look! I can tweet too!

And of course, two gingers debating who has less of a soul. Obviously that'd be Corey. There's way too much cuteness in Nugget to not have a soul.

This begins another journey of a cat's life on my blog. But before you call me a crazy cat lady, you shut your mouth and... yeah. Just shut your mouth.

Also, if you've never read Slutty Cat's story and background, you need to. It's freakin' ridiculous. [It's backwards, so make sure you scroll down first.]

watch etv: jumping on the manti teo and lance armstrong bandwagon

Pretty crazy week in pop culture, thanks to two guys' stories. No need to explain what happened because if you don't know, I'm not sure why you're visiting my blog and you should probably excuse yourself.

Since they were revealing things about their life, getting things off their chest, etc... we decided to do the same.

NOT SLUTTY CAT! She HAS to be real!

But really... did you spit out your drink when Jeremiah threw his curveball?! Cuz I woulda.

Also... Slutty Cat really would make a great meme. Next time I see her sticking her vajayjay up in the air, we're making it happen.

watch etv: slutty cat celebrates national pet day

Today is National Pet Day, and because Slutty Cat is still just as awesome as ever, and now fetching her new favorite toy [the plastic seal thing from a milk jug] 24/7, I thought I'd bring her back to the Internet.

She's been cooped up on my apartment since the move, so her sluttiness involves staring out the window and meowing at all the boys. Poor girl. Can't get her needs fulfilled anymore. Maybe one day...

PS: Feel free to follow her on Twitter. She says she's gonna start being more active on there... just like her mama.

slutty cat update: the end [maybe]

Imagine that. I took forever to do a much needed update.

Slutty Cat's babies are no longer with us.

Ah! No. They didn't die. They flew the coop. Found new people to give their love to.

Am I the only one that finds it terrible that twins had to be separated?! They're not even in the same town anymore. What happens if they grow up and happen to run into each other in the woods and discover they had a twin and forgot! Yikes. Traumatizing. I can only imagine how much they'd rebel after something like that.

I'm not okay with it, but Great Grandma and Great Grandpa were pressuring me to get them outta here. How rude.

Another thing I'm not okay with: Schnook's new name--> Rhet.

What the heck!? They said he seemed smooth, cool, calm, collected. False! The all black kitten that I knew was a badass who never stopped running around like a mad man! Hmph.

He got a good home, though. One of Mom's stamping friends [yes, they have stamping parties here at the house and make all these crazy cool cards and scrapbooks] is a fellow crazy cat lady, but worse! She had four cats, and one was about to die, so she was uber glad to have another baby to add to her collection.

Pandy is now known as Harley. Unfortunately, like I said, Dad did put her on Craigslist. Can you imagine having to put your daughter on the Internet listed as FREE because no one wants her?! I have never felt like such a terrible grandmother in all my life.

This is where it gets bad. We found someone who wanted her and seemed like a good home! WOOHOO! Then we found out she has a hernia, just like Slutty. Her new mama called threatening to give her back. Great. We finally give her a new home for free, and they want to return her?! We have nothing left, maam, and it's store credit only.

Thankfully, she decided to keep her and deal with her "issues." Until today. She went in to get spayed, to find out she had to go to the cardiologist for $500, or risk the surgery that she might not make it through.

What an emotional rollercoaster! I can only be glad of one thing: Slutty has no idea about all of this.

The end result: They risked the surgery, and Pandy... Err, Harley.. Is going to be just fine! For now. She's a young girl with a heart problem, but she's loving the spoiled life with her new mommy.

Well, there's the kitten update, but this is a Slutty Cat update for a reason. All I can say about the little ones at this point is that I hope their new mamas are prepared for their future of sluttiness.

Slutty Cat has been ready to go, if ya know what I mean, ever since the babies left. When her genius grandmother decided it would be a good idea to leave the door open for a minute, she ran out as fast as she could.

I can only assume one thing: Baby Daddy was outside waiting. That little smut. He better not be dealing her drugs, too...

Why I say that: JoJo has been acting weird again. She's following me everywhere, making noises, throwing up, and gaining weight. That can only mean 2 things: Drugs, or... *gasp* She's preggers again.

For my sake: I hope it's drugs. I'm pretty good at convincing others to say no to drugs. Also- I'll be dead if more babies pop out of this pet of mine in my parents' house.
For Baby Daddy's sake: It also better be drugs. He's going to be needing to make money to pay me after Maury Cat and I are done with him.

For now... We can only wait and see what will happen. Yikes.

my weekend in south carolina

This past weekend I went to Columbia, SC to visit the BFF, which turned into a weekend full of discovering fun things, totally worth sharing.

First of all, before I get into the fun things, I stumbled across two different Ed Hardy items on my way down, and nearly barfed in my mouth. I couldn't help but Twitpic them both and ask "WHYYY?!"

Computer mice and BEER. I'm speechless. I think the tweets I got back say it best:
@DJSTOUNDYN Lol dbags gotta drink to hahah
@vijayLdas SIGN THE WORLD IS COMIN 2AN END http://twitpic.com/t3jti
@murrainofswains Proof of impending doom?
@emshadow04 douchebeer. gagme
Also in the liquor store I noticed this beautiful bottle of vodka called p.i.n.k.

If the beauty and name weren't enough to excite me, the fact that it has caffeine/energy mixed right in captured my heart. If I wasn't so broke, I would have bought it with no hesitation.

Once in SC, we went to this place called Wet Willies, which is a chain in the South, and features a bar of alcoholic Slurpees. Basically, it's Heaven. It has a wall of these alcoholic frozen drinks that you can mix to make the most orgasmic drink of your life. Did I mention they have 190 proof alcohol in them?!

During our downtime, we totally sat in the living room on our separate laptops like a bunch of kids from this generation. Someone tweeted me about my post on MakeADare.com, and suggested I try out a few other sites.

Normally when I hang out with the BFF, we have a photoshoot. We didn't do too much of that this weekend, but when I found MakeAGif.com, we definitely took the time to play around.

Basically, you can either upload some pictures or take some directly from your webcam and combine them into one GIF image. It may seem nerdy and stupid, but it's also totally fun. This is our ridiculous creation:

A lot of other things happened while I was there [such as eating like an obese Southern girl, trying on wedding dresses, and watching her dog eat an opossum like it was a toy], but I'll save your time... For now.

Now that I'm back home, it's crunch-time trying to find little Pandy, Slutty Cat's last kitten, a home. Dad is threatening Craigslist by the end of the week, and she's better than that. So, if you'd like to have an amazing kitten that you got to see grow up right here on love, elizabethany... Let me know. I shall call it Mission: Save Pandy From Craigslist.

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Feel free to share anything you found, did, etc below!

the adventures of slutty cat: it's time for new homes

Ugh. The time has come. My little babes are all grown up and ready to leave Mama Slutty.

I should warn whoever wants them, though... In the past couple weeks, I have noticed a strong resemblance in their actions and JoJo's when I first got her.

Both Shnooks and Pandy have very different personalities, but both take after Slutty. Shnookie is the crazy, wild, run everywhere and do flips at all hours of the day version of Joey, and Pandy is the more laid back, waiting for a boyfriend, and wanting to play hide-and-seek Joey. She also looks just like Jo with her tie-dyed fur.

Whenever I come home, I yell "babies!" and they both come running out to me. It's the cutest thing ever.

They've totally made themselves at home here. No more laying in their bed all day. They've turned a fabric bowl thing into a bed, a wakeboard into a jungle gym, shoes into a hiding place, and some fake plants into their forest. There's no stoppin' 'em.

The good news is- they are using the litter box. Phew.
Also good news- They seem to like WVU gear.

They also love to come in here late at night when I'm blogging and run around on the hard floor and tackle each other. Joey makes these weird worried noises the whole time, but I can't complain. They're better than the moans.

A couple nights ago we got our first visit from Baby Daddy in a while. I heard Uncle Bigsby making these really scary noises while Slutty Cat was kind of screaming, and the kittens were trying to hiss and make some other random noises. I walked out and saw Baby Daddy having a staring contest with Bigs.

I'm not kidding. This all really happened.

Once Baby Daddy saw me, he ran away. Smart cat. He knows he can't come up in here lookin' for the babies without any dollars! If I don't find Maury soon, I'm sure I can find the Madea of cats!

Anyway, that's about all the excitement. I'm really more depressed than anything that I have to say goodbye to these precious things. I was hoping I'd find out about a job by now, but no such luck.

So.... My dear readers... Watch this quick and simple video I put together of the twinnies and check out the pictures. You know you can't get enough, either, so let me know if you want to become a parent. ;)

Gah. I can't get enough!
