If you told me Xtina was posing in Maxim a year ago, I would have cringed a little and said something along the lines of "we see more than enough of her on "The Voice." But now, she's looking damn good.

Welcome her to the cover of the October issue.

She's showing off what looks good and hiding her "trouble spots," as every woman should learn how to do... even though I think she has very few trouble spots these days.

Seriously, I love this! She's not the skinny little girl she used to be, but her body's gorgeous! She's a woman now, not a teen pop princess. 

Also love: Her quote about being sexy. 

"I'm such a down-to-earth girl, I'm comfortable in just a jersey and boy's underwear. Trying too hard to be sexy is the worst thing you can do. Sexiness should be effortless." 

And when they asked her about Justin Timberlake and Ryan Gosling back in the day:

"They were both very charismatic, but I think I have to shy away from the question. I don't want this to bite me in the butt later. They were tight, you know. They'd walk around together all the time, same as me and Britney [Spears] would. Now look at us. It's funny how that played out."

Are you saying you guys still can't be friends, Xtina?! Come onnn.......

what i wore last week: skater dresses and gold touches

There's actually no real theme or similarity in my outfits from last week, but here it goes:

I'm always looking for something to wear with this tank cuz it's really an odd color... but after being Pinspired by this outfit, I was pumped. It also inspired me to do an entire week [this one we're living in right now] of white after Labor Day. There's no reason this outfit can't be worn well into fall.

Friday was the only day of the holiday weekend I actually got dressed... the rest of the days were spent in a bathing suit. I found this dress last week and had to get it. I'll be able to wear it during any season! Plus, I'm a bit obsessed with the skater dresses/skirts right now because they hide the lower half.

This Instagram makes me happy... And the house looks neat! [Not in the clean way...]

I also enjoy the front door area!

And we're back! Seems like I was gone forever, but mostly just a few days. Know something worth waking up to? Finding out we'll get to see this, mostly naked, for an entire movie:

• I'm not that pumped about it being "the end of summer," but knowing which shows to look forward to helps a little. I guess.
• How do the 50 sexiest songs of all time make you feel? I think I'm going to need to make a playlist!.. but add a few, fo' sho.
• Musta been listening to that in the drug fueled sex party in this temple.
• These videos make me cry like a baby every time. Soldier surprises his family by dressing as a racing mascot.
• Another really awesome story: This high school football player returning to PLAY on the field after getting his leg amputated.
• For some reason, Diane Keaton decided to start rating how hott men are on Twitter.
• Newest oddball airline offer: In-flight nannies to calm down your crying baby. Because babies love strangers.
• Probably true: Ladies more likely to give their number out on sunny days.
• *sigh* Best of Summer 2013... in signs.
