Tweet I noticed that there are no Christmas movies in the theater this year and it has honestly saddened me quite a bit. Luckily we can count on ABC Family to deliver some goodies straight to our TV sets.
This Sunday "Christmas Cupid" is premiering! It's just like every other "Christmas Carol" type movie with a twist... Except that it deals with an extremely attractive cast.
I got to talk to the two female costars Ashley Benson [Pretty Little Liars] and Christina Milian [singer and Love Don't Cost A Thing/other things].
We talked about everything from the fact that every "Sloane" on TV is perfect, to their amazing costars, to the 90's and their upcoming album with Vanilla Ice. [WHAT?!]
"He's a cutie pie. He's really tall and really handsome and everything about him is just really cool... It was easy to flirt with him, let's just say." -Christina Milian on costar boyfriend Chad Michael Murray
"We're actually working on an album together that's going to have to do with the whole 90s thing, and Vanilla Ice is going to be on it." -Ashley Benson
They totally remind me of two besties in high school or college! Very fun.
I definitely think there might be a bit of a connection there with Christina/Chad. I know Chad is supposedly with/engaged/married to Kenzie Dalton, but I'm not buying it. If nothing else, Christina definitely felt a flutter when she was with him in the movie.
Be sure to watch the movie this Sunday night at 8pm/7c on ABC Family!
This month is bringing out the hottest of the hott in magazines.. Seriously. The latest: Christina Milian in Maxim.
I won't say anything right now, I'll just let you fellas soak it in...
To make it even better, she talks about how she regularly goes to strip clubs and gets lap dances. She even dresses up in costume when she hits the bedroom with her men.
...like a maid costume; a cute apron with the mitts and a robe, too. Yes. It was red. It was really cute. I try a little bit of everything. I’m all about keeping the excitement in the relationship. That’s why I sing songs like “Dip It Low.” When I’m with somebody, I like to keep it exciting.
A lot of people are saying "but WHO is she and WHERE has she been?!" Well, that doesn't matter, my friends. Now, she's in Maxim.. that's where. And if you didn't know her before, I bet you want to now.
I know it's late in the night, but forgive me! I finally have my internet back and it's officially time to give you your TUNES ON TUESDAY!!
Because American Idol Season 8 officially begun tonight, I find it completely appropriate to share some Idols from last season's songs that have been released, or whatever.
But before that, Kelly Clarkson is back!--> My Life Would Suck Without You
A lot of people are starting to think of Carrie Underwood as the best Idol ever.. But I still disagree. Kelly was the first, the original, and the greatest.. In my eyes. And what better way to release a new single to the radio than the day Idol also returned?! Anyways, it's a little different for her, I think. No more screaming [well, not as much] and it's not so I-hate-guys. I fully enjoy it, duh.
Okay.. On to Season 7. Brook White--> Free
She was little Miss Innocent on the show.. Almost too innocent. She has amazing talent, though.. And unfortunately I don't think this video shows it. The song is okay, not amazing, not terrible. They're liking it on the country charts, though.. Interestingly enough.
Kristy Lee Cook--> 15 Minutes of Shame
I hated her on the show. She was obnoxious and not good.. Or so I thought. But, Idols are all good singers, and studios can do even better for them. So, that being said, Kristy sounds good, and when she performed on Regis and Kelly, she looked good. The only irony is the title of the song. How can someone's first song be anything about 15 minutes? It's like suicide, I feel. It's good, but I'm worried. And I won't dare admit to anyone that I like it. Also, is it surprising another Idol is becoming a country star? Not to me.. Seems like the trend. Yes!
David Archuletta--> To Be With You
This is such a cute and beautiful song. It sounds like it could be on the soundtrack of High School Musical or something, but I still like it a lot. It's a nice hopeful, love song with two beautiful voices. I approve.
David Cook--> Always Be My Baby
This is an amazing remake of Mariah's classic, and you need to download it. Now. Seriously, I love it. Obviously it's not much like the original.. But it's fabulous. It might be my new addiction. Yeah.. It is.
Teairra Mari feat. Pleasure P--> Hunt 4 U
I have no idea who this girl is, but she's a great singer. It's a pretty song, but I don't think I'm blown away. It's nothing I haven't heard before, I guess. But I'll welcome her in with open arms if she's got anymore for me/us!
Justin Moore--> Back That Thing Up
I don't know who this guy is either.. And I guess this is a mix between "Back That Azz Up" and "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk." Except, maybe not really. It's more of a read between the lines, maybe? I don't know. It's kind of a plain song, and I was definitely hoping for more.
And finally... I love this song, and it's a pretty/hott video, so check it out.. Christina Milian--> Us Against the World.
She's hott, the song is hott, so obviously this is hott. 'Nuff said. [Even though the Egyptian outfit is kinda weird....]
And that is all for today! I hope everyone had a FABULOUS Tuesday! Break out them iTunes!
Kanye's video and Hil Duff's new song are in previous posts.. but here are some more songs I listened to today and think you should check out too. :)
T-Pain ft. Chris Brown- Freeze
Now, I think anything either of these 2 guys do right now is gonna be hott. And I don't know that this is an exception. I definitely like it, it's got a good beat, they sound good. Only beef I have is the beat-boxing. It's super cool and different, but comes out of nowhere. But who knows, maybe in another couple listens, I'll love it.. and be trying to do it. (Oh boy.)
Nicole Wray- Dice Roll
The only song I have on my iTunes from her is "I Wanna Kiss You" so I don't know much about her. This is the first single from her upcoming album. I like the idea of the song, and what she's saying and all that, but I don't know how I feel about the overall sound. She's very Fantasia or Macy Gray, right?! Which is cool, I just don't know if it works all together.
Akon ft. Lil Wayne- Get Paid
I feel like maybe I'm late on this and heard someone talking about it before, but I could be wrong.. who knows. Anyways, two more guys who no one can get enough of right now, so it's not going to be a good song. But, I don't think it's anything new or something that hasn't been doing. For some reason the chorus reminds me of the Pretty Ricky song "My Body"... Am I alone? Eh, it's not bad. I'll download it. But it's nothing for me to be excited about.
Christina Millian- Us Against The World
This is the first single for Christina from her album which is set to be released sometime Spring 2009. She calls it a "cinematic power ballad" and I think I agree. I definitely like the song. Unfortunately, as some of you may have noticed, I tend to be a bit biased, and I definitely have always liked her. I also like cute love songs. ;) But I think this is a great song.. and a great single to get that album started!
Rehab- The Bartender Song
Someone over the summer told me this was a really old song. Still, when it got played the other day, I heard so many people saying "what is this song?" Well, it's the Bartender Song. And it's hilarious. So if you havent heard it yet, today is the day.
I'm trying to find some country out there for my country lovers, but I'm having a harder time than I hoped. Sorry!
Thanks to The Hype Factor for supplying me with the songs!! :)
