updated! my recent photoshoot

And now we move on...

A couple weeks ago I did a photoshoot with Kiyomi Photography, that was way more risque than I've ever done, and it wasn't even for a dare! [It was actually for "Undressed" purposes, but things have changed so now it's basically like I did it just for fun.]

She makes me look goodddd, and I'm so excited to see more [and share as many as I can]! 

UPDATE!! 7/31!

She has officially posted her favorite pics! [all but one of which I love... and only because I'm pissed about my ass-shrinkage.]

on the racks: rihanna is breathtaking in gq

...and when I say breathtaking, I don't mean cuz she's just beautiful.... but the poses and pictures she took... DAY. YUM. GURL. As Russell Brand said on Ellen "I'm heterosexual as it transpires, but sometimes you gotta wonder 'why not?!'"

i was in the "local's hottest" magazine!

There's a relatively new publication in Hampton Roads called "The Local's Hottest." It's a free little mini-mag that tells people all about the coolest things to do and places to go, happenings, and people they should know.

In the October issue, I was featured in the "Locals Hottest DJs" section! Just a quick little blurb about who I am and where to find me [and a quote from my Facebook bio].

Look around for the print version all over Hampton Roads, but you can also check out the website any time!

And I have to thank Leslie Woodruff of Woodruff Photography who took some pictures of me a couple months ago for it! Even though my hair is completely different now, I'm loving some of these shots she got!

Obviously I had to get one with my BFF Justin Bieber [and the photobombing Taylor Lautner. Rude, dude.]

celeb photoshoots in the 90s were terribly awkward

It's not like we've never noticed it before, but after looking at 41 pictures of proof, it's kinda crazy how ridiculous celebrities allowed themselves to look.

 

We'll never look at R-Gos the same again. Damnit.

pics: i got a new photoshoot!

It's been a WHILE since I had a photoshoot done, and considering the move altered by body in unflattering ways, I was hoping it'd still be another while.

BUT, the station was in need of an update when it comes to our pictures on the website. Half of us don't look anything like what our picture does anymore.

So I called on my cousin, Paige Engel, to come take some pics! Here are some of the best she got of me in the studio:

Obviously I had to "spice" it up by getting on the desk/table/whatever you wanna call it. Beyond that, I'm surprised I smiled so much. That normally doesn't happen.

flashback: the most ridiculous pictures of boy bands

Tweet For my 90s Dance Party hour on Candy 95 today, I did a boy band theme and it absolutely made my day. Apparently it made a lot of other days, too. A TON of people texted in thanking me for turning their day around.

Truth is- The 90s boy bands were amazing and impossible to duplicate. No group will ever be able to do what they all did, especially the Backstreet Boys and NSYNC. They're classic.
