In case you've been hiding somewhere and haven't heard, my station is putting on our first summer show- the HOT Summer Fiasco! Featuring: Carly Rae Jepsen, Icona Pop, Cher Lloyd, MKTO, Nikki Williams, and Classified. [OMG OMG I GET TO MEET ALL OF THEM!]

It's going down June 8, and yesterday we went out to the venue to plan out some details and shoot some video for between the acts. FYI: It's the coolest venue I've ever been to. It's an intimate pavilion that doesn't have a bad seat [everything's close to the stage!], and it's right on the water.

Anyway, we wanted to share our excitement with the world, so we went around to different places in Hampton Roads and got all up in people's faces. [I also got yelled at in K-Mart, and almost got a ticket for being in the middle of the street, so....]


Also- probably the most unpleasant Chick-fil-A workers ever, right?! Heyzeus, girlfrand. Live a little!

I'm really excited for the show, but I'm like REALLY PUMPED to see other people doing this, too. Tickets aren't that expensive, but a free pair is obviously the bomb diggity. Who knows... it might even get ya a little something extra.

Pretty crazy week in pop culture, thanks to two guys' stories. No need to explain what happened because if you don't know, I'm not sure why you're visiting my blog and you should probably excuse yourself.

Since they were revealing things about their life, getting things off their chest, etc... we decided to do the same.

watch: a merry hotmess music video from us and karmin!

I am SO excited to finally have this video done and able to share with you all! This week I've been all over Hampton Roads with my coworkers shooting this music video to get ready for our holiday show, Merry Hot Mess Fest, on Monday night!

We got silly, played with Santa, completely took over McDonald Garden Center, and even got Karmin to make an appearance in the video! [They sing the song we used and are headlining our show, after all...]


Can we talk about how lost Corey is throughout the whole video? The poor guy's awkwardly hilarious and he doesn't even mean to be!

I've been trying to make a fun group video like this for a while now, so I'm very glad we could make it happen for the holidays! Hopefully it was as fun and ridiculous to watch as it was to make!

watch etv: a parody of the nicki minaj/mariah carey american idol fight

It was beyond obvious that someone was going to die at the new American Idol table as soon as they announced who'd be sitting there... I'm just surprised Mariah doesn't have the balls to fight back.

pics: i got a new photoshoot!

It's been a WHILE since I had a photoshoot done, and considering the move altered by body in unflattering ways, I was hoping it'd still be another while.

BUT, the station was in need of an update when it comes to our pictures on the website. Half of us don't look anything like what our picture does anymore.

So I called on my cousin, Paige Engel, to come take some pics! Here are some of the best she got of me in the studio:

Obviously I had to "spice" it up by getting on the desk/table/whatever you wanna call it. Beyond that, I'm surprised I smiled so much. That normally doesn't happen.
