New month means new ipsy and Birchbox.. and new LC Lauren Conrad at Kohl's! 

It's definitely not my favorite month of new stuff from her, but you know she can make anything look awesome.

This dress is totally gorgeous and I love it for Thanksgiving or holidays.. with a jacket of course.

Bows! I'm tellin' ya.. I'm diggin these everywhere.

This dress is presh, but like.... winter?

Minus the shoes, finally something we can wear in the winter on the East Coast... and I won't even be mad about all the light colors.

When it comes to her clothes, as much as I love seeing the new stuff every month, I've learned to be patient and keep my eyes on Kohls.com. A lot of her stuff ends up in Clearance and that's when I scoop it.

I'm in love with this whole "get a peek at the new collection every month" thing. It's gonna do damage to my wallet, but whatever.

what i wore last week- a whole lot of denim on clearance

Most of last week was spent working on the beach, so I didn't really have to get dressed much beyond Wednesday, but here's what I had on the first half of the week!

This is quite possibly the easiest outfit I've put up, and it's obvious. 

-open back tee c/o Kohl's, but on sale for $8 right now

-shorts also from Kohl's last year, I think

-shoes from Target clearance $7

-DIY elastic strap bra

I finally got a denim vest that [mostly] fits and I went a little happy with it last week. Since it's similar in color to my mint jeans, I wanted something super contrasting underneath. Enter one of my favorite color combos of the season: Coral and mint/turquoise.

OMG WHAT. Are we going to get new clothes at Kohl's every month now?! My credit card is going to be so pissed. [Or happy, I guess... since it's going to rack up some interest.]

the first look at lauren conrad's summer kohl's line

Eep! These days are always exciting for me! It's a lot like getting a new Delia's catalogue way back in the day. I wait all season for a look at Lauren Conrad's next line of clothes, drool over them when they come out, then cry when I go to buy them and decide I really can't afford a $60 dress.

Still... it's fun to drool over them when they do come out! Here are some of my favorites for the summer line!

This is so simple, and if I can just get over my personal rule of not wearing long sleeves in the summer, I can dig it!

This is absolutely gorgeous. For anyone looking for a white lace dress to buy, I'd say this is the one.

Maybe my favorite of the sneak peek... It's so different from anything I wear, but it's also so cute and versatile.

These crochet tanks are everywhere, and I'm not mad about it. They make looking like a hippy totally acceptable.

These were screenshots from her photoshoot video. That orange dress needs to be mine.

I read an article about her not long ago and she said she was realizing she needed to make more clothes that fit everyone, not just people like her. It's pretty obvious she's starting to make more clothes that are suitable for middle aged women who want to be "hip." I'm not mad about it, though. They're all still awesome.

lauren conrad's spring line is revealed!

AH! It's time to drool, and countdown the days til spring collections are on clearance at Kohl's. LC released the first looks at her newest line, and as usual, I'm OBSESSED!

Get ready for a lot of polka dots! I'm so not mad about it.

These jeans, I need them. And this entire outfit for the 4th of July.

A little unsure how I feel about these jeans, but on her, I love them! Obviously.

She had two outfits in hot pink jeans, and I am obsessed. So glad I already have some, now I just need to take notes on the outfits!

I think I like this high-low maxi skirt style... especially after seeing a pin that shows you how to wear them as skirts, shirts, dresses, and halter tops. Awesome.

This whole picture right here... I need it. The polka dot jeans matched with stripes. The carefree hair. The adorable pup. GET IN MY HOUSE.

Those are just my six favorites, but they represent the whole line pretty well [unless you're a dress person... they're a little too girly/feminine for me this time around].

If anyone wants to surprise me with a free shopping spree at Kohl's, I'd fully appreciate it.

Lauren Conrad just released her Holiday Collection for her LC Lauren Conrad line at Kohls! It's freaking great. Sugar Daddy, get the card ready.

Here are my favorite looks:

That red blazer is now a must-have in my closet. The black and white shirt- Out of my norm but holy casual and dressy cute!

Sparkly dress- What to wear for NYE 2013. The perfect LBD, and the like pink dress... I don't know when I'll wear it, but I'll find the time. Just gimme!

Sometimes her collections come out and I'm all "let's get to the store now." Sometimes I think "meh." This one could put me into debt.

There's more here. I'm too afraid to look at the prices at Kohl's right now. I am beyond broke at this point.

pinspired outfits: mixing brown and black, and a rainy day

Three days into my challenge, and I'm already all mixed up. Rather than doing the weekend's outfits [Friday-Sunday] today, I only have Saturday and today's thanks to getting mildly mugged Saturday night. [No worries, I'm totally okay, and kicked the dude in the face. AKA I feel like a muh-fuh badass right about now.]

I'll get Friday's outfit up tomorrow, in the meantime, let's get all outta order, shall we?

I've always been one of those people that thinks everything needs to be matchy-matchy, and black and brown can NOT go together. Pinterest [and Lauren Conrad] proved me wrong.

I have a black tank from Ross [$4], purple skirt from Forever 21 [$8], shoes from Ross [$18], purse from the $10 airport store [that is actually falling apart, so I should probably invest in a better one ASAP... I guess sometimes cheap isn't always good.], leopard print earrings from Forever 21 [$3] and a belt that came free on a dress I got a couple years ago.

If only those heels weren't wedges... I woulda done some serious damage on the dude's face. Hmph.

Today was rainy, and I thought we were going to be outside with hundreds of Cody Simpson fans, so I went pretty simple and with rain boots. Turns out we were inside the whole time, but oh well!

I got my sweet lace-up boots from Old Navy before Mardi Gras for much more than I wanted to spend, but I do love them! [$30] My umbrella is also from Old Navy for $5 or less. My favorite pair of jorts are from Kohl's and actually came with the "scarf" as a belt [clearance- $7]. Finally, the shirt is from Aeropostale [$5]. 

Sock bun for the WIN on a rainy day that I only had 30 minutes to get ready for! I also love how it shows my hair color contrast again, which I didn't realize until now!

I will admit that ever since I was in high school I've had a philosophy: "If I can't see it, who cares what it looks like?" AKA I never pay attention to the back of my hair or clothes... hence why I had no problem just tying the "scarf" behind my neck and pretending like it was an infinity scarf. Maybe I should wear my hair down next time I do that.

A couple weeks ago I Instagram'd this pic of a necklace my dad made for me out of old washers and ribbon he found in his garage:

Today, I was stalking my BFF LC and she's teaching the world how to do it!



I mean, OBVIOUSLY she saw my pic and was like "OMG, I need to learn how to do that." So she helped me out a little since I couldn't figure it out. Thanks, girl!

It IS neat though, right? I think it's more of a "badass/rocker" style when I wear it, but hers does look a little more fancy.

jennifer lopez's line for kohls is to die for

Somehow I missed the news that Jennifer Lopez and Kohl's had teamed up, but that doesn't matter because now that there are a few sneak peeks of the line coming out on September 7, I'm sharing.

I HAVE to! I'm obsessed with everything she is going to be putting out. I thought Kohl's was steppin' up their game with LC's line, but [even though I hate to say this] I think Jennifer Lopez's line is better! It's certainly true for this upcoming fall season, anyway.

Here are some of my favorites:

I can't even pick a favorite. I love it ALL! I have definitely loved JLo's fashion lately, so it's no surprise I love it... but I'm seriously about to start counting down the days til it's released.

I should also probably make plans to rob a few banks or friends so that I can afford some of it.

It's fine. I won't get caught.

Tweet YAY! More clothes from Lauren Conrad hitting all the Kohl's stores! I think it's time to put my gift card to good use. [Or, at least some use... considering it'll only cover a portion of anything from this line. Hmph.]

True life: I had a dream about those jackets last night. I started working on this post yesterday, then had a dream I went to buy them and they weren't there and I had to settle for something else. Issues.

I also dig these, but unlike LC, I can't make everything look good.

Seriously, though... HOW IS SHE SO PRETTY!?

Some stuff is really girly, but that's the Spring-time vibe, for ya! I can't handle anything too girly, people will give me the o_O. BUT... I absolutely adore the whole line, as usual.

Every time I go in to Kohls, there seems to be a lot of stuff still on the rack or on Clearance. this is good and bad. Good for the bargain shoppers [make sure you're always checking!], but I really hope it's not a bad sign for the line.
