It's official! Kate Beckinsale is the sexiest woman alive.

...According to Esquire Magazine, anyway.

The month of November features Kate Beckinsale on the cover declaring her the sexiest woman alive right now, even though she doesn't get that much attention for being sexy.

I'll be honest... When I think of hott women in Hollywood, she doesn't come to mind right off the bat. I think of all the cliches, plus a few of my favorites. After checking out this photoshoot, I think I might change my mind. You'll probably feel the same way.

To make it all better: She has a good sense of humor. This is what she said about getting the title:

"This whole notion of being named Sexiest Woman Alive is going to earn me quite a beating. You can't have that title with four brothers. I'll get wedgies. Headlocks. Noogies.... If you're any kind of a human, you know the title is utterly ludicrous..... But I like the idea of it, too. I do. I'm feeling that I must earn this. I need to go out and become much better at pole dancing or something."

Yea, "BRING IT ON" clearly gives it away, Kirsten.

I think the idea of covering her face is kinda clever, but why do it if everyone is going to know right away anyway? Plus, I think she's trying to make the point that it shouldn't matter if she's a celebrity or not.. yet, that's clearly a point she's trying to get everyone to focus on.

Silly Kirsten, you can't fool us, whether you meant to or not.
