exclusive interview: autumn reeser of no ordinary family grew up a nerd

Tweet If you've ever seen two of my favorite shows, The OC and Entourage, you know who Autumn Reeser is. She played Taylor on The OC and the confident Lizzie on Entourage. [You boys probably saw her lookin' smokin' hott in Maxim, too.]

But now she's on a new show on ABC that people are talking about: No Ordinary Family.

She plays Katie, a science lab assistant to the mom of the not so ordinary family who has to keep the secret of this family while trying to figure out what caused the magical change.

All of Autumn's characters have been quirky and different, with a touch of nerd and smarty pants in a variety of ways. Apparently that comes naturally...

"I spent most of my elementary school in the GATe Program, the Gifted and Talented... I was one of the only girls in it so I spent most of my elementary and junior high years with that stigma then kinda ran in the opposite direction."

And when it comes to this latest character, it sounds like she's going to step closer into the spotlight and get her own storyline on No Ordinary Family.

"You're gonna get to see her date and her awkwardness when it comes to men and relationships. She's such a novice when it comes to dating and relationships."

But it looks like there's some DRAMA comin' to the show! Tonight's episode brings answers to what gave the family its powers, but she says after reading through episode 10 last night, it seems like the show may push some limits.

"It gets really dark. It's still funny but it deals with some dark things that happen in real life. [Episode 10] is a really good episode. Everyone's jaws dropped."

Beyond the show, she's starting up a blog with friends that will offer women a little bit of everything.

"I love the web community and there's so much potential there... It's gonna be fun to get involved."

watch: matt damon freaks out on entourage

I've finally been able to get back into watching Entourage thanks to someone who DVRs almost all of the shows I watch. [Minus Ellen... Which I'm totally behind on and very depressed about it... But that's another topic.]

This Sunday's episode was HILARIOUS. It was the Season 6 finale, and Matt Damon made a nice guest appearance as he pushed Vince to donate money to his charity.

I think the funniest part of it all was after the credits when Matt Damon once again showed up on the screen, calling Vince, and having a breakdown.



It makes me wonder how much of his Entourage character is like his real personality... Is he pushy? Either way, homeboy rocked the show! I say invite him back again!

Also funny from the episode: Ari "Terminator" Gold shooting people in the office with paintballs to tell them they're fired.



Ari= My favorite Entourage character. Ever. He should probably copyright this way of saying "you're fired." They should also come up with a reality show that terminates people in the same way. Fantastic.

Oh, Entourage... How it's been wonderful having you back in my life. Come back soon!

watch: entourage sneak peeks

The new season of Entourage is kicking off on SUNDAY!! Who's excited?!?!

I would be except for the fact I don't have HBO. Ugh. Stupid pay-extra-for-good-TV concept. Maybe I'll be able to find it online somewhere.

Anyways, everyone says the show is almost over thanks to the not-so-exciting last season. There's a lot of talk about this season being able to save it, though. What do you think? Check out these sneak peek videos:

I think they're all funny characters regardless, although I think it was Season 3 that I never stopped laughing. Either way, welcome back, fellas!

It's official. "Lil" Bow Wow, is no longer little.

Yea, he removed the "Lil" part a while ago, but who could look past it?! Well, apparently the people who cast "Entourage" can.

He's in this week's episode.. doing a sex scene!!
