tunes on tuesday 040511

Happy Tuesday! I have SO MUCH new music to share this week thanks to slacking off on it last week! ENJOY, and sorry!

Wiz Khalifa--> Roll Up

You might have heard this by now, but I haven't posted it yet. Thank goodness this guy is coming out with something better than Black and Yellow. Maybe I'm a hater on that song because of the Steelers, but I still think this is better and more chill.

Taylor Swift--> The Story of Us

You know how I feel about Taylor... At least this is slightly more upbeat than everything else. I probably won't cry every time I hear it for once.

NKOTBSB--> Don't Turn Out the Lights

Yes, they're actually collaborating on a song. Because they're two 90s boy bands, I feel obligated to love it. So I do. Let me know what you think, though....

Chris Brown ft. Benny Benassi--> Beautiful People

F.A.M.E. really is a great album, just like everyone is saying. I recommend it. I like this song, too. It's different in my opinion. The video is also different from what he does, but it's fun!

Kat DeLuna--> Dancing Tonight

It's a fun, upbeat, dance song that probably won't blow up, but I'll definitely get it in my library ASAP. I'll also play it on-air if you'd like!

Nicki Minaj--> Super Bass

Whenever I hear Nicki songs, I can imagine the video in my head even on the first listen... I don't know if that's good, bad, neither, or if it has anything to do with this song.. but it's odd. It's not my favorite song of her's, but I don't hate it by any means.

Jared Lee--> It's Over [Goodbye]

I LOVE this guy's voice! Mmmmm... I want more. I'm worried he'll become a nothing, but I really hope not. I like the male pop sound. It's almost like he's a former Idol.

Porcelain Black--> This Is What Rock n Roll Looks Like

Cruella DeVille? Is that you? I'm not a fan. At all. I feel haterade boiling, actually.

Michael Jackson--> Hollywood Tonight

I really hope they're releasing these singles because MJ planned on it... It definitely doesn't live up to his talent/music that we've always loved, but it's definitely fun to groove to. The girl starring in this video definitely grew on me.

J Lo ft. Lil Wayne--> I'm Into You

I still don't know if I'm supposed to call her J Lo or Jennifer Lopez... Too much Diddy wore off in her back in the day. ANYWAY. I think I like this one better than "On the Floor," which isn't hard, but it's definitely a pretty good one.

Britney Spears--> Scary

This isn't an officially released single, it's just one that was left off of Femme Fatale in the US! I have NO idea why she left it off because it's probably my favorite song on the album [assuming I had the Japanese version]. I LOVE it. I do love the album, but this shoulda been included.

That's all for now! I'm about to make a separate post for new country music because there is really THAT much! Enjoy!

love,
elizabethany
