tunes on tuesday 011111

After last week's monstrous update, you'd think there'd be nothing left... but NOT TRUE.

You know about BritBrit's new song "Hold It Against Me." I'm sure you love it. Now let's find out what else you'll love.

Bruno Mars--> Marry You

It's the year of Bruno Mars, folks. I totally love this song. I love the change of tempo throughout, I love the words, I love his voice.

Iyaz--> Rule the World

This isn't a song that had me excited or dancing, but I don't hate it either. It's more of a background song or a song you play before the night really gets started.

Jeremih ft. 50 Cent--> Down On Me

It's definitely not a bad song. It's not great either, though. Another song I'm indifferent, but it definitely has more potential than Iyaz.

Jessie J ft. BoB--> Price Tag

The studio version is a little different, obviously, but I totally dig her sound and this song. I'm also feelin' B.o.B. right about now.

Kotadama--> See You Tonight

Holy emotional. The video and the feel of the song definitely scream emo.

New Boyz ft. Dev--> Back Seat

Umm... I think this is very dirty. Like more dirty than at first listen. DANGUH. I like the beat, though. New Boyz are still a bit too amateur to me, but it's a pretty fun/hilarious song.

Tinie Tempah ft. Eric Turner--> Written in the Stars

So... Tinie is a guy's name?! Really?! He's got the nasally sound like Wayne, and he has potential... I don't know that this will get huge, but that's completely up to you.

Miranda Lambert--> Heart Like Mine

I'm not always a fan of Miranda, but I definitely like this song. It's not super country.

Zac Brown Band--> Colder Weather

It's another soft one from the boys. It's really sweet. I totally dig it, I'm just ready for something upbeat from them again.

Ashton Shepherd--> Look It Up

SASSY! She's got a real, genuine country sound. I'm surprised she hasn't stuck around with past singles. Maybe this will be the one for her.

Rascal Flatts--> I Won't Let Go

Just like they said, it's a VERY strong ballad. The sweet sound reminds me of "Skin," but nothing will beat the emotions of that, obviously.

The Band Perry--> You Lie

These siblings are totally going to take country music by storm in 2011, and I can't wait.

That's all for this week! Now all you gotta do is tell me what you want to be hearing on the radio ASAP!

love,
elizabethany
