DAYUM it has been a while since I went back to my Real World/MTV roots! I've thought about it a few times, but I would ultimately rather talk to people who deserve to have an ego than those who are on one or two reality shows and think I need to go through some super fancy secret agent to talk to them.
When it's Johnny Bananas, though.. I'll make an exception. This is like a former bucket list item!
Johnny's been cursed since he took all the money from Sara, but he won't admit to that of course. Will he admit to having ONE person he'll never hurt in the game?
Before a mini series of challenges begins with "Champs vs Stars," he called me so I could test his ego and see how calculated he really is. Also- Terrell Owens. Turns out he's not going to be a big fan of Johnny like he had hoped. Shocker.
Will I do more of these? Meh. I don't HATE it... but I've got bigger plans coming... you'll see. [Unless of course this gets thousands of listens....]
Welp, I decided it's time I give myself another challenge... One that's way harder/more involved than what I've ever done....
Every day for the month of May, I'll be doing something that was inspired by a pin. Outfits, food, hair, make-up, crafts, decorations, work-outs... a little bit of everything!
I've put together a list of my favorite pins that I'd really like to try, but part of this challenge will also be seeing if some of these popular pins actually work like they're supposed to. If you have one that you've been wondering about but don't have the time [or desire] to actually try it yourself, send it my way and I'll try it out for ya!
Everything will obviously be posted on the blog, and yes, I'm even going to try and do some on the weekends for once.
Wish me luck! I don't want to take the easy way out and always do the simple/quick pins, so this could be a long month. The plus side: It will be a lot of fun and it will keep me occupied. It will also [hopefully] get me and my house more than ready for the summer.
Challenge podcasts aren't something I normally do, but there's no real reason for that beyond it being my "off season." Of course I still watch and get into it, but it's not as intently as a fresh season of Real World.
When Trey tweeted me about doing another podcast, I was totally down! And I had a genius idea: having Sam on as well! She comes into the studio to hang every once in a while, and it worked out perfectly!
They agreed and disagreed, and covered a LOT of ground... and considering this season leaves a whole lot of questions like "WTF JUST HAPPENED THERE?!" and "WHY IS THIS GOING ON?!"... they were able to answer a lot of those.
Just SOME of the things we talked about:
Trey and Laura's "activities" while filming
All of the couples' current relationship statuses
How Trey and Marie were while filming
The truth behind potential cast members being evaluated by psychiatrists
The REASON everyone hated Trey
What made the fish challenge even grosser than what we saw
The prank that was pulled on Sam because of something Trey did
and "Flagpoling"... the new pic trend thanks to Alton.
I really should do more of these, huh? I enjoy having Sam's take on it, too. If only it had been on video. Some of her facial expressions said WAY more than any of her words. How 'bout this: Next time I'll Ustream it live for you fancy folks.

Ohhh snap! They're rolling these seasons out quick! As soon as Real World St Thomas is done, the new Challenge: Battle of the Seasons is up, and four of our St Thomas'ans are in there!
So are four of our favorite peeps from San Diego, including Sam! And I'm very pumped to see Jemmye back in action, along with those crazies from NOLa.
I've heard things from a couple people who were out there, and the hook-ups/fights sound random/unexpected and totally intense. I'm definitely excited for this season.
And YES! You're seeing the original AND the new Las Vegas in there, but they'll be teaming up together!

Get ready! This is going to be a fun season of rooting for our favorites from a LOT of seasons! [Except RWDC.. LAME!]
Everyone anticipated this season of the Challenge, so I wonder how y'all are feelin' about it so far...?! Do tell! In the meantime, I was able to rope our favorite Las Vegas boys in for a podcast about their progress, being the rookies of the season, and other things we don't get to see after the edits happened.
Plus, as usual, they didn't hold back on how they really felt about some things. When it comes to Wes, Leroy says " After seeing him on the show, I got some words for him." He also told me who he calls "Snowflake," and who cock-blocked him [and from who! ah!].
MikeMike talks about how he wasn't afraid of anyone, and even had the nerve to stand up to a certain monster on day one! I also had to get to the bottom of him and Miss Paula.
It's all things Rivals, and a little added drama thanks to Johnny Bananas suing Entourage. Find out what they think in the podcast below!

Ladies and gents, I've been hearing some things about this upcoming Challenge, and it's going to be INSANE.
As usual, I don't know anywhere near everything for the Challenge, but what I do know- It's not going to be a dull season.

WOAH, CRAZY! You probably caught two Las Vegas boys in there- Adam and Leroy. Ty is also making a comeback to stir up some ish... Plus a ton of classics.
What ya think? Excited?! I am. As much as I don't love the drama, I'll love seeing everyone again, and some of these people aren't even humans.
Tweet Dancing With the Stars is about to get better- by adding skates.
On Monday "Skating With the Stars" premieres with Bethenny Frankel, Sean Young, Vince Neil, Rebecca Budig, Brandon Smith, and my interview subject of the day: Jonny Moseley.
You might know him from the 1998 Olympics where he won the gold medal for skiing. You probably saw him host 3 of the Real World/Road Rules Challenges before TJ Lavin took over.
I had to ask him the obvious questions: Who his biggest competition is, what kind of tricks we can expect, and how hard it will be. I also asked who might be the Bristol Palin of the show.
Surprisingly, his answer was HIMSELF!
I also had to ask him about the Challenges and what he misses most. One thing he had to say:
"I miss it. I kinda made a rash decision. I was a TV rookie and kind of got bored of standing around all day waiting for them to do the challenges, but turns out that's what TV is."
He also said why he wishes he was still involved, but for all the answers, you're going to have to listen to the full interview:
He was easily one of my favorite people to interview... Ever. We really vibed right off the bat, which you could tell kinda caught me off guard at first, but he's a really down to Earth guy which makes an interview go a lot better.
Be ready to watch the show Monday! I'm excited to see what kinda hurt they put themselves through. This isn't dancing... this is SKATING.
And maybe, just maybe, if TJ Lavin can't come back to the Challenge, maybe Jonny can come back into our lives.
Tweet I was unsure if I'd be able to get a good Cut Throat podcast with a vet who is probably beyond doing podcasts, but when I noticed that Derrick, one of the Challenge's most well-known players, does his own podcast, I figured I'd give it a try. Luckily, that worked out for the best and "his people" told "my people" [AKA me] to make it happen.
I asked you for your questions and I got SO MANY good ones. I wish I could have squeezed in more time with him, but duty [AKA work] called.
I talked to him about everything. Past Challenges, his favorite, how they've changed, how to become "the ultimate player," who left earlier than the team wanted, and who he'd want on his dream team, if he could choose.
He also told me what "the weirdest thing he's ever seen and the biggest disappointment of the season" was for him and many of the people there.
I'm not going to ruin the whole podcast, but this is my favorite thing he said.. when talking about what brings him back time after time:
"I'm 27, I find thrill in playing competitive flag football. I come into the gym every day and look for a new challenge. being able to do it under the lights in front of thousands of people is pretty cool. I've never been big enough, fast enough, or strong enough to play professional sports but I have the heart and the passion and the drive to do so... So this is like second best."
You can tell he really enjoys the game and his friends within the game. This is his life, but as far as I can tell, it's not about the attention, it's about everything that comes with the challenges. Hopefully I'll be able to talk to him again after this season is said and done.

Normally I don't get too into these... Or at least not as much as I do the Real World. This time we have TWO DC'ers involved [Ty and Emily], and from what I hear, Ty makes quite a name for himself.
Don't you worry.... I'll still be here for weekly chats and info [and probably podcasts more than right now] once it gets going, but in the meantime- check out the trailer.

It doesn't show much, and I can't tell who is who, but there sure are a lot of "mother f#@%*%$" in there... And from what I hear, it was an interesting time. As usual, don't expect our favorite newbies to have a blast moving into the house.
Challenge 5 [woah... Can't believe we're at the end already!] for MTV TJ was to interview a celebrity of their choosing and report on the interview.
I got FeFe Dobson!
You may remember her from back in 2003 or so with songs like "Take Me Away" and "Bye Bye Boyfriend," but she's back now and seemingly stronger than ever!
I'm totally diggin' her latest song "Ghost!" It's all about getting back at your boyfriend after he cheats on you. Think "Before He Cheats," but a bit less Country and a little more Rock N Pop.

She looks hott, her sound is definitely worth some time on the radio, and as much as you want to say it: Don't compare her to Rihanna. She's a girl of her own breed.
I'm really excited about her return! Though she's been doing her fair share of writing and recording, I think she could be releasing some serious hits again in the next couple months.
All that being said, I decided to stick with my usual style of interviewing people. Ask a couple of the music-related questions, then hit the "8 Easy Questions with Elizabethany" segment to get to know more about who Fefe is and what she likes.
She seems cool and definitely seems to be working hard/non-stop! 10 minutes went by so quickly! I had so much more I wanted to ask, but a busy girl's gotta get on her way!
Let's hope I'll be interviewing her again in New York someday... in person! ;)
I had every intention of getting this up 24 hours ago, but in case you forgot- All of my pieces of technology pretty much hate me.

The show was absolutely INCREDIBLE last night. Over 150 people showed up, and that doesn't include the people we had to turn away because we were over capacity. DJ Get Low AND Flawless Escape put on an amazing show, and the BCS came out to support.
I could not have been a happier girl.

I'm still on a bit of a high from last night's success with the Real World New Orleans chat and the Flawless Escape show, but it's time to focus on the next challenge: Getting celebs to follow me, retweet me, and support #EB4MTVTJ.

@LaVarArrington. I want a Redskin follower... Bad. He was my first ever jersey, and the reason I LOVED going to the games. He may have become a traitor, but he's back in Washington again!
@TheEllenShow. I'm sure everyone's going to try and get her, but there's no way anyone's a bigger fan of hers than mine. I'm going to prove it. I'll have the most epic of all epic videos up later tonight. In the meantime- keep tweeting her.
@LaurenConrad. I genuinely think she'll be the hardest to get, but I love her. I have to try. I model my look and attitude after her. She's one of my realistic idols. She doesn't follow many people, but she's gotta follow me!
This is all I'm going to say for now. I don't want to be all over the place, I want to stay focused... And these people represent many sides of me.

What I did: head out to the corner of Texas and University, probably the busiest intersection here, with the sign required.... but the other side included info about Wednesday night's show with Flawless Escape and DJ Get Low! Two of the guys (Scott and A Jae) also joined me!
Dare: COMPLETE! It was totally fun. I'd do it again. I did it for an hour, but when people stopped honking [I tweeted AND Nibs said on air to honk twice if you see me... so that I know who hearts me.] it became boring.
Now speaking of tomorrow's show, can I just say I'm UBER PUMPED?! The guys, myself, Emo Sarah, and all of the BCS has really come together and come through for me to make this a really great, free show for EVERYONE to enjoy! Here are the deets:

I may be new to this town, and I may have been in DC when they gave me this challenge, but with the help of all of you and your suggestions, I found a group of guys that I can believe in!!

I first checked out their music on MySpace and was impressed, but I gotta be honest... Just like everyone told me beforehand, they're even better live! I went to their practice today and I was diggin' it! They really get into it, and they were only in their bedroom!

11AM today was the moment I've been waiting for! It was even crazier than I thought!
Anyway, our first challenge is WHO AM I?!
The goal: To express who I am as a person to the world.... [Without boring them] What needs to happen: [People need to love who I am.] More Twitter followers overnight than ever.
Because it's hard for me to come out and state who I am without sounding like a boring professional or something, I decided to do a few things... I shall present them without further ado.
First of all, I'm elizabethany, dangit! I've always said there's only room for one of me in the world.
Second, I think my videos describe me better than I could in words... Somehow I squeezed them all in under two minutes. [Not joking]
Third, photo galleries. Isn't there an old saying you don't truly know someone until you know their past?! Well, I absolutely believe that. Take a look at EB through the years... Including photographic evidence that I used to be the fat girl. Hmph. Also evidence that I haven't changed a bit.
Fourth, I asked my followers/readers/etc that have been following me for a little while what the world MUST know about me ASAP. Here are your responses:

I have a Slutty Cat who I recently took from her Baby Daddy and uncle/lover.
I stalked the Real World: DC, and it's likely the reason I have this opportunity. You won't regret checking out my adventures.
I don't really refer to anyone by name... everyone in my life has a specific "BFF" name on here.
When I mention "The DMV," I'm referring to my hometown area of DC, Maryland, and VA.
If I don't like someone in Hollywood, you're going to know it pretty quickly. I don't care if I'm being a hater for no reason. They put themselves in the spotlight to get scrutinized.
I've got the attitude of a guy, but the appearance of a girl trying to be hip. I love sharing my double perspective with you.
