tunes on tuesday 072611

Happy Tuesday! Let's hop to it!

Alexandra Stan--> Mr. Saxobeat

I assume this will really take off as one of the house/international songs that we in radio have to jump on board with. I'm not a huge fan, but I'll have to get used to it.

Candyman 187 ft. Snoop Dogg--> High Off the Fame

Also not my favorite song I've ever heard. I don't think it'll become huge, but you'll probably hear it around.

Gavin Degraw--> Not Over You

I love it, but I'm a fan of this kind of music, and definitely of Gavin. I'm glad he's back, and I could totally listen to this song over and over again!

Lady Gaga--> You and I

I like that she's switching up her sound a bit, and I can definitely appreciate this song. I know, it's crazy. She shot the video in Nebraska, which also adds a hint of I'm-okay-with-this. We shall see how it does...

Patrick Stump ft. Lupe Fiasco--> This City

I for sure enjoy a song that shows city-spirit, no matter where you're from. I love the sound of this song, and I think it could do pretty well as a single. I dig him and his voice and his song.

Rihanna--> Cheers

I love the weekend-anthem theme, obviously, but what's with the Avril chime-ins for "yeahyeah"? A lot of things throw me off, but as a whole, it's kinda fun.... kinda.

Simple Plan ft. Natasha Bedingfield--> Jet Lag

I heard this in a store the other day and wondered who the relatively familiar sound was. At first I thought it was a little cheesy, but it grew on me quick. I enjoy.

The only new country music available on YouTube as of now:

Justin Moore--> Bait a Hook

Sorry I don't have more Country, but enjoy!

love,
elizabethany
