Let's be honest: Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair" was a guilty pleasure that we'll look back on and think "what the F were we thinking blasting that?!" But it was SOOO GOOD!

Plus- an 8 year old with a song like that? I mean, duh.. Of course it's going to be popular.

Now she's on song #3, featuring superstar Nikki Minaj...



Yeah, it's just as annoying as "Whip My Hair," but unfortunately the novelty of the annoying 8 or 9 year old girl has worn off a little.

She's hella talented, but I don't think I'll want to hear this more than once.

Tweet If you're not fascinated by Willow Smith, you're lame. Yeah, I said it.

Especially because she's all supa-dupa fly in Teen Vogue this month!

That first picture just SCREAMS Fresh Prince! I wonder if she's been watching her daddy's episodes recently for some fashion inspiration... Even though she said she's never heard that before.

Her style isn't something a lot of people are going to say "Wow, I love that, I'm going to wear it tomorrow," but that's what makes her cool. She's 10 years old and has a strong image that's confident. A lot of adults can't say that about themselves.

She's also inventing her own words that I do want to use on a regular basis:

"Whipping your hair means not being afraid to be yourself.. If people don't like you, then bunck them, you know?"

She also talked about her super-talented family, of course:

"Whenever I don't feel like working, they say, 'You don't want that career? You have to work hard'... They think I should keep working harder and harder... They aren't strict. They won't be like, 'Willow, clean up your room!' They'll be like, 'Willow, will you please clean up your room?' And I'll be like, 'OK,' and do it."

Also in the interview:

• She shops at Target! ..When her stylists aren't helping her out.

I'm so interested to see how long she can last in this business... And to see how she continues to carry herself. I'm not sure if I think she'll fall or not... but I hope not.

Tweet When you start Whippin Your Hair back and forth and check out Willow's swag, you can't help but think she's a bit older than 9 years old on the inside.

...Until you watch her just chillin', hangin out with a friend after her Ellen Show rehearsal.

She jumped on UStream last night and luckily recorded it. I don't expect anyone to watch this the whole way through, but within the first minute I had a smile on my face just watching this little girl love her life. [Okay, wow... That sounds creepy.]



Is she not the cutest thing ever?! Gah. I love her. LOVE. HER.

If I don't get adopted into Run's House, I'd totally love it if you'd adopt me, Will. I'll even play babysitter.

Will is a legend, duh. Jaden is making his mark in movies and dance competitions against Justin Bieber, and now Willow Smith is about to be a fashion icon and a singer that is sure to hit the charts.

...All at the age of 9. Wow.

She looks like a mini Rihanna, but she's rockin' her own style, and now she's even got her own song. Listen to "Whip My Hair." Now. And be amazed.



NINE YEARS OLD! Nine. I'm gettin' it on to that beat more than half the other new stuff I hear.

Wow. That's really all there is to say. Also: With her dad being who he is, it'll be nice to not have to worry about her going down the wrong path, and that's exciting.

the smith family is way cool

The entire Smith family walked the red carpet together for the premiere of "The Karate Kid" which stars little Jaden.

He's been one of my favorite child stars since I found out about him being in this movie, obviously Will Smith is a favorite for anyone, and I've always loved him and Jada together.

What I didn't know is that the entire family is hella cool! Check 'em out!

What!!! I don't even know where to begin!!

Will is probably the coolest dad EVER. Trey looks like he's going to be some music star of some sort. Jaden is SUPER FLY!!!! Jada has her own style of hott. Willow looks like a little Rihanna!

She should probably star in one of Rihanna's upcoming videos as her mini-me. DANG girl! You're only 9!!!

All I'm sayin is- I wanna be a part of this family. They're a very close second in coolest-families-ever to Rev Run's fam. I wonder how I could make this happen.....
