podcast: my relationship advice for the people

After my week in Men Rehab, I feel like a pro at relationships.... or.... maybe lack there of but WHATEVER.

Decided to help my people out on the show with the realest advice I could give.

If you ever need me, you know I'm here for ya. Just holler at ya girl.

PS As my friend, I expect you to never let me say "holler at ya girl" again.

podcast/poll: can you give out your phone number if in a relationship

I was thinking about this question the other night, and instead of coming up with my own rule that could get a bunch of people in trouble, I brought it up on the show and had a good response!

If you're in a relationship, and someone asks for your number, can you give it to them?

My answer is straight up yes. Either you meet a new friend, or you never use it. What's it going to hurt? BUT... listeners had other things to say.

Listen to the podcast of their calls and then vote for what you believe!

You can check out all of the show-podcasts right here! Doooo ittt.

watch: girl beats boyfriend, then cops, on the train

Well damn. I said it before when Nick called my show about getting beat up by his ex-girlfriend, and I'll say it again- Guys should not put up with getting hit by their girlfriends, even if they cheated.

This girl hits him, spits in his face, and stomps on his head... A LOT. She's not phased by the camerawoman who is mad her food is getting cold, nor is she gonna let the cops handcuff her or take her anywhere.

Poor ginger boy. He's sitting there wiping off his blood, getting embarrassed in public, and having to "take it like a man." I'm sure she's gonna be in some serious trouble, though.

listen to the show: caller has crazy ex-girlfriend drama

Last night I had someone message me on Facebook about his ex-girlfriend drama and it seemed crazy enough to have him call the show.

It was.

Nick was on a break with his girlfriend when he hooked up with someone else. Because he's such a good person [or a complete dumbass], he told his ex about it. As many girls do, she went nuts. Thing is, she went TOO FAR.

I hope he stops dealing with that stuff. He sounds like a girl.. a stupid girl. I'm glad most of the listeners agreed with me. I was beyond afraid they'd call in saying that a guy deserves to be hit when he hooks up with someone else.

nifty website: sugarsugar is my dream come true

Oh. Em. GEE!!!!

You guys. My dream has come true! It's officially easy to find me a Sugar Daddy, and he'll totally know exactly what I want out of the relationship!

Enter SugarSugar.com, "Where romance meets finance."

Literally, it's all about girls who need a little financial support from guys who need a little bit of fun in their lives.

Now, I wanna get something straight- these couples look entirely too in love for me. Unless they're faking it, if this is really about the financial help, I'm looking for a little more no-strings-attached. Benefits on both ends, but homegirl doesn't
need something clouding her heart right now.

Enough about me, more about the site! This thing even tells you who is online, and informed me that there are over 107,500 sugar daddies in Texas.

WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN HIDING ALL MY LIFE?!?

Good thing I don't need to find one BEFORE I join! It's free! HOLLAAA.

And before you judge me for being fake, you shut your mouth and read a quote from the site:
“Sugar Daddy relationships are as old as mankind itself. Men have a natural instinct to surround themselves with beauty, and women have always sought out the security of a mature, financially stable man. While these aren't the only qualifications for a good dating experience, they are a good place to start!”

See? It's perfectly normal! Now go find yourself one!

PS: One of these days I'll meet a guy who hasn't seen this blog and isn't repulsed by everything I say.... But then I'll be mad that he hasn't read it.

exclusive interview: dave good of the bachelorette/bachelor

If you watch the Bachelorette or the Bachelor Pad, you know who this guy is. With the looks that he's got, it's hard not to.

He's using his 15 minutes of fame to release a book all about how a lady can grab the attention, reel in, hang on to, and deal with the "Man Code man." AKA- the ultimate guy that every girl dreams of, but apparently lost touch with. [Meaning we've gotten all caught up in the glitz n glamour of the guys on the ridiculous reality shows.]

I haven't read many books in my life, but I really did read this one before the interview! It's got a LOT of really good points and quotes in it such as my favorite:

"Everyone thinks the world owes them happiness. Ironically, the world is now full of spoiled pussyfooters with no hustle. Instead of working hard to make happiness a reality, they put in just a bunch of half-assed work and quit when it doesn't work out."

SO. TRUE.

He really speaks the truth throughout the whole book, and that's why I recommend it. I also recommend listening to his super-honest podcasts with me!

We talked about how the stupid people used to be killed off back in the day, but now the smart people are saving them, and what a Man Code man really is:

We also talked about this season of the Bachelor, who he's rooting for, and why he went on the Bachelorette. [He thought he was going to be fighting for Melissa!]

And finally I had to ask him about one of the hottest lists I've talked about- Everyday things that girls do that turn a man on. Does he agree with them?!

Now if only he had told me where exactly I can find a steaming hott Man Code man like himself, this woulda gone perfectly.......

ANYWAY!, he's going to become a regular on my show! Any time we talk relationships, we'll be talking to Dave to get his Man Code opinion on it!

Ladies- if that doesn't excite you, maybe you should check out some of his pictures. Then I think it will.

I can't wait to talk to him more and seriously- check out the book. Girls and guys alike could use it. [Check out two pages/graphics from the book below!]

nifty?: the kissphone sends kisses long distance

If you've ever been in a long distance relationship, a lot of times the hardest thing is not being able to kiss that person whenever you want...

But HAVE NO FEAR, the KISSPHONE IS HERE!

This "phone" records someone's kiss then replicates it for someone far, far away.

Seriously. "It detects percussion speed, pressure, temperature, and sucking force of the lips, when you kiss it. An artificial mouth on the phone can reproduces same parameters to the kissphone receptor."

Wow. I mean... The lips don't appear to be soft ones. They also look to be a big large... but what's a picture show? Nothing? Debatable.

I'd obviously love to try this out but really it just seems like a toy a 5 year old could play with to learn how to become a pornographic kisser in the future.

Besides: What's a kiss without a little tongue?

would you give your boyfriend/girlfriend a freebie?

Today on the show we talked about whether or not you'd let your S/O go out one night, hook up with someone, and then let it slide and forget about it.

A lot of people are convinced this helps a dying relationship and/or a long distance relationship.

Listen to the podcast then weigh in on your thoughts.

I'm stickin' with my only-if-it's-a-celeb answer... or as long as I don't find out. But note to boys- We always find out.

watch: throw the girlfriend in the cart

So your girlfriend is beyond schwasted, but you've got to get your monthly grocery shopping done... What do you do?!

I recommend throwing her in the shopping cart and piling the groceries on top... Just like this guy did.

[Fast forward through the BS... it's worth it.]

... Wow. Just... Wow. Only in Walmart.

You win boyfriend of the year award, dude. I'm glad you took her reputation as well as comfort into consideration.

watch: little girl is going to miss the love of her life

Remember when you had to say goodbye to your first true love?

Who am I kidding... Of course you do. Who knows what the reason was, but if it was because you or he or he had to move away, you can probably feel this little girl's pain. She's about to leave the love of her life, Stephen, to move to Japan with her parents.

I wish I could talk to her and tell her to just move in with him. He was her 15 year old counselor from Vacation Bible School, so it might be a tad scandalous, but it's always an option.

Poor girl. If only she knew her options and that everyone can relate.

top 13 things that are a bigger turnoff than you think

You know that everyone has a few bad habits that someone else finds super annoying. No one is perfect, nor is everyone super-tolerant.

BUT... Some things are easy to look past. So your lover snorts... Sometimes it's kind of cute.

Other things irk you more and more each time they happen, and most likely push you to the breaking point.

I asked you on Twitter, talked to some friends and coworkers, and came up with this list of
Underrated Relationship Deal Breakers.

Sure, cheating, committing a crime, not getting along with friends, or getting in a huge fight are obvious reasons to end a relationship... But these build up over time before you realize it, most likely resulting in a "we're done!" or an unanswered post-date phone call.

13. Talking too much
Does this need to be explained? Shut up and let the other person talk a little bit. The world doesn't revolve around you, and there are things around you worth observing. Absorb the moment.
Also included: Being cocky

12. Bad shoes
"Shoes tell a lot about people," says my hickey contest havin' BFF. Dirty shoes, dirty way of living. Ugly/weird shoes: Probably doesn't keep up with the times.
Also included: Bad fashion overall

11. Grammatical errors in text messages.
I'm not talking about the LOL, OMG, ur, etc... I'm talking about writing like a 3rd grader who doesn't know the difference between there, their, and they're. Go back to school and get an education.
Also included: Bad spellers

10. Not being equal in spending
Just because it's chivalrous for the man to pay for everything, doesn't mean he should have to do it every day, every meal. Split the bill, buy each other things.. Make spending relatively equal.
Also included: Being unappreciative

9. Being a picky eater
If you're going to date someone, you need to be open to doing things out of the ordinary. If you only eat well done, plain hamburgers, there's only so many places you can go for a date.
Also included: Vegans

8. Cussing
If you can't say it proudly to your grandma, don't say it at all. And if your grandma is a cussing fiend, well... Just watch what you say. A foul mouth is never a welcome one.
Also included: Always talking down on people

7. Too touchy early on
A little flirty touching in the beginning: Totally cute. Acting like your new crush is your property and touching every inch of them every second you get is not okay. Everyone has their personal bubble... Respect it.
Also included: Being pushy/talking about sexual acts

6. Different levels of the career world
If you're trying to date your boss, I can tell you from experience, it's not going to work no matter how hard you try. It's probably best to date someone out of your field, or within a rank or two.
Also included: Unmotivated/lazy moochers

5. Trying too hard to impress others
Just because you want their friends, family, coworkers to like you, doesn't mean you need to change who you are. Don't make it obvious that you went out of your way to be or like something you normally don't.
Also included: Name-brand-only people

4. Having sex on the first date
You may think it's what he wants, but giving it up on the 1st/2nd date only does two things: Leaves nothing for the imagination and the label of "easy."
Also included: Immediately falling in lust/love

3. Getting shwasted on the first date
So you're going to a bar with your date and both of your friends... That's not another way of saying "going to get hammered." Stay classy, DC. Get to know your date and their friends, and remember it tomorrow.
Also included: Bar dancers

2. Being ignorant to trying new things
So you hate the sound of screaming Rock music, and you think Country is all about losing your wife, your dog, and having an accent. What if that's "the one's" favorite genre of music? Give it a real chance. Don't rule out trying new things... You might like it.
Also included: Extreme home-bodies

1. Smoking
You don't need one more person telling you all the nastiness inside a cigarette or that it's bad for you. Just remember the smell is always lingering, no matter how much you clean. Imagine watching someone drink gasoline and smelling it on them 24/7 [assuming you're normal and don't like that smell]... Not cute.
Also included: Druggies, potheads, coke addicts, alcoholics etc.

Hopefully I've helped each of you either tell your sweetie how to straighten up quick, or realize things you need to work on. Hopefully I didn't make anyone feel like I was attacking them.

Feel free to add to, take away, or comment on this list below!
