Every year Country Weekly comes out with "Country's Most Beautiful Woman." This year and last year both had the same winner-- Kellie Pickler.

I understand that beauty is more than what meets the eye.... But I don't know that I can honestly say any of these women are not beautiful on the inside, too.
That being said, I think they got the list very, very wrong.
Julianne Hough and Carrie Underwood are basically perfect, plastic Barbies in their looks. They're flawless. Martina, Shania, and Faith are all Country music legends, and amazingly gorgeous. Fairly new to the Country beauty scene Whitney Duncan and Danielle Peck are also smokin'!
As for Reba and Dolly... Well... They're Reba and Dolly.
I just don't understand the reasoning of giving it to Kellie.... twice!!!! Are they crazy?!?

This is an interesting couple in the country world.
I had no idea or any hint of this, but apparently it's been going on for about a year. Country's biggest ditz and former Idol contestant is dating Country's badass.
Kellie Pickler and Kid Rock= Totally together.
She said they've been together for about a year, and he's a very, very good man.
That's interesting... I always thought he wasn't that great of a guy. There's also rumor he's dating Sheryl Crow too. Ya know, Hugh Hef status.
I talked a little about big events that happened last night, but here's how I REALLY feel about it.. Since I know you care. :)
First of all: Here is the video of Kid Rock performing "All Summer Long" with some help from Lil Wayne:
Second.. This isn't me being a hater, I promise.. But Taylor Swift was AWFUL! She did "Love Story," another one of her songs that's a country AND pop hit, but I'm not sure that anyone, besides mega-fans, is going to think it was a great performance.
As my Broadcast teacher would say; The effort was there, and I like what she was trying to do with it, but the execution was terrible.
She had the whole Romeo and Juliet feel to it, which was great! But her singing was miserable. She looked super nervous, too! I think I could compare her to Britney Spears at the 2007 VMA's. [Yes, I'm serious.] Look for yourself:
For a relatively upbeat song, she doesn't get into it very much. And the whole strip into a white dress thing; everyone saw that coming! Absolutely no element of surprise. More like an element of disappointment.
Kenny Chesney got Entertainer of the Year for the 4th time, Carrie Underwood got best Female Vocalist. But beyond the awards, there were SO MANY performances. Tons. More like a benefit concert or something than an award show, and I LOVED every second of it. So did every other country fan, I'm sure.
Co-hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, along with Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Rodney Atkins, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney with The Wailers, the Eagles, Alan Jackson, Kid Rock, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, James Otto, Kellie Pickler, George Strait, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, and Darius Rucker all performed.. AMAZING.
If you watched it, I'm sure you understand everything I'm saying. If not, YouTube some stuff. It was a good show! Brad Paisley had some interesting punch lines.

Looks like Kellie Pickler and Ryan Seacrest are going to be sharing a stage once again! [Remember, she was the ditsy blonde country girl on American Idol Season 5..] This time, Dick Clark will be with them too!! [Well, I guess technically, THEY'LL be with HIM..]
The three will all be a part of "Dick Clark's Rockin New Year's Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2009" on ABC. Kellie will assume her position as a Times Square correspondent.
I wasn't too fond of her on Idol, to be honest. But we all know how I feel about Idols doing big things.. I LOVE IT!!
So Kellie, good luck! Don't do anything stupid! [OK, maybe you should.. it's more entertaining that way!] and have fun with Ryan and all those other crazy people in Times Square! :)
