wearing: bohemian boyfriend

My dresser drawers are literally breaking because they're too full, I have to get new hangers every time I go to the store, and yet I'm constantly buying new clothes. I blame the purple hair and needing a new wardrobe. 

I've been getting a lot from SheIn.com.... which is a bit of a gamble. I've kept maybe half of the stuff, but it's pretty cheap and the quality is hit or miss. 

I got this top the other day and I'm pretty into it. It's different and flowy and makes me feel a little sexy because of the side boob action [assuming I had side boob to show.... let's be honest].

I go through phases where I really like my boyfriend jeans, even if I'm not totally sure how to style them. This is one of those times in my life. I probably need to find some better fitting ones, but they're just so comfortable and life is about figuring things out- right?!

what i wore last week- jungles, boyfriends, and neon

Seems like some of you enjoy creepin' on my daily outfits, so I'm gonna continue making it easy for ya!

Here's what was on me last week:

Neon is totally my staple this summer. I'm obsessed. The easiest outfit ever:

I LOVE this skirt and really need to wear it more, but had a reason to try hard when Emblem3 and MKTO came to the studios. Normally I'd never wear those shoes with the outfit, but I felt it was fitting for the day, and I actually got compliments from our special visitors!

Still trying to figure out the best way to make boyfriend jeans look good. They're certainly not the most flattering pants I own, but they're comfortable! Of course I took every bit of that comfort away when putting on heels.

A day at the beach bars/pools calls for a presentable outfit but easy to wear if wet [or drunk]. Skater skirts are my latest obsession because you can wear em with crop tops or bathing suit tops and still feel relatively covered. [Although this picture makes me feel like they're not flattering at all] With big earrings and lipstain, you're good to go!

pinspired outfit: sheer top and ripped jeans

Technically I started these challenges so I'd be better about using the clothes I already have in my closet.... but I'm using another new piece that I got from the Forever21 ultimate clearance. To be fair, I got them before I decided what outfits I'd be wearing this week!

Originally $20, the red shirt I wore was only $5, and thanks to Pinterest, I paired it with things I never would have.

It's hard to tell, but my shirt also had the little tie at the neck/chest. 

- The top was $5 [Here's a similar one on sale]

- Jeans from New York and Co. for ~$18

- Booties from Charlotte Russe $10 

- Earrings about $1 from Body Central... I got them in a pack

TOTAL: $34!

The rolled up jeans and booties thing is new to me. I don't know how far to roll them, because I feel like they just look like ridiculous highwaters on most people. I'm still not sure if I pulled it off or not, so that's for you to decide! 

The booties are also a lot lighter in person, but I waited too long to take pictures outside and got these wompy shots. As for my jeans, they're the boyfriend fit and I normally only wear them with sweatshirts or cardigans, but dang they make my booty look wide. I need to be careful about that. 

I do enjoy the outfit as a whole, though... The mixing of girly and not-so-girly pieces has always been one of my fave combinations... just need to perfect it!
