Tweet This is pretty freakin' incredible, and I'm surprised my dad never tried to do this.
A dad and son figured out a way to attach an iPhone and HD camera to a weather balloon, send it into space, and then retrieve it after it comes back to Earth so that they have the video.
I'm no space geek, but this is awesome.
So maybe I do need to get a smart phone if I want to be able to do cool things, huh?!
It may not be anything more than what we normally do to get pictures from space sometimes, but it was homemade and totally clever. It felt like I was the one going into space with it! [If I had built the thing, anyway..]
