watch: the munchkins 70 years later

So this year marks the 70th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz. Holy moly.

Apparently there are only 5 members of the cast still kickin', and they are some of the munchkins.

They brought them all together to do this little video for Newsweek. They talk about being in the movie, Judy Garland, and other fun things. The best part: They sing some of the songs.

I love how they're in munchkin-esque clothes, I feel. They look like little dolls! [Is that politically incorrect/WRONG to say? Hmmm...]

Also- I think the first time I watched it I was more worried about seeing the guy on the left, who I thought was a woman until they showed his part in the movie, croak during this video. I also couldn't stop thinking that the other guy should've played Dopey in a real version of Snow White.

I love them. They're precious when they sing the songs. Aw.

love,
elizabethany
