The best thing about lawsuits that involve major companies being sued by consumers: Benefits for everyone.
A recent case involves a group of shoppers suing a group of cosmetic makers for price-fixing. The settlement includes giving away 175 MILLION DOLLARS of free cosmetics.
And no, it's not just for the group that sued. It's for anyone who purchased some of these cosmetics between 1994 and 2003.
Oh, and by the way, the only "proof" anyone has to have, is saying "I bought such-n-such here in ____." They're supposed to take your word for it.
The specifics: Macy's, Bloomingdale's, and Nordstrom are just some of the stores participating, but there are tons taking part in this nationwide. People who "qualify" will receive one item of their choice, completely free, while supplies last. Some of the brands are Chanel, Christian Dior, Estee Lauder, and L'Oreal.

All I'm sayin' is.. 1994-2003 is a LONG time.. I'm sure tons of people qualify honestly. But if they're only taking your word for it, if you're a good liar, get your butt up to the store! Or a couple of the stores, even! Pronto!
