money well spent?

Diddy is at it again.

This time, he's admitting that it IS a publicity stunt and marketing etc.. What he always does.

Via his video blog, he's declaring that he offered NYC and the mayor 1 million$. He says they can do whatever they want with the money, he doesn't care.

However, there is one thing he wants out of the donation. The ball that drops during the New Years Eve countdown in Times Square, must be blue. Ya know, for his vodka Ciroc.

Also, if you're going to be celebrating the new year in NYC, he says to look out for his Ciroc Street Team. Apparently they're going to be out and about looking to help everyone. Interesting.



I don't think this is AS obnoxious as a lot of things he does. I just am not sure how it would work. I think this little blog video will gain a lot more publicity than the fact that the ball is blue because of his vodka. [If they change it.. that is.]

Also, who thinks of blue when they think his vodka?! Or, rather, who thinks Ciroc vodka every time they see the color blue? I just don't think I'd put the two and two together. I'd probably say "Oh that's nice.. It's blue for Obama!" But maybe that's just me.

And one more thing.. If he's so serious about the color, most especially blue.. Why is the entire commercial in black and white? That's not helping anyone identify the color relation.. Just sayin.

I wonder if he even really offered it? Maybe he is just getting publicity through this blog. Who knows. He certainly got me talking about it all crazy. Ugh.
