what the spears sisters are up to

I know you love 'em just as much as me, and I'm sure you're wondering what they're up to [minus BritBrit's vajay slip the other night..], so I'm here to give you a quick snip of Britney and Jamie Lynn.

First of all, Little Spears [who I used to get told I look like... Unfortunately, I don't think that's the case anymore :(] is about to head to the country stage! After having a baby, I guess she thinks it's a good idea to jump on the "'save my career" bandwagon and go country.

She's apparently written some songs, and recorded a few, and plans on taking them around to different record labels in hopes of a deal.

The only thing people have really heard her sing was the theme for her show, Zoey101.. And that wasn't country.

I do think she'll do okay with it, though... I just don't know how welcoming country music people will be to a 17 year old girl who had a baby last June, and has an older sister who's always doin' something crazy.


As for Britney, she finally had time to relax today between shows. She got to lay out in Miami, and head to the stores for some shopping.

She's clearly not worried about her mic-still-on woopsies, and is more focused on showing off her hott bod that people still aren't very used to seeing. [And making awkward faces at the camera.. She doesn't care anymore! She can handle the paps!]

I'm proud of them. They're really learning how to come back from a down time, and they're doin' it well! They got their heads held high and aren't letting anyone stop them now! Some people should definitely take notes.

getting old

[Clearly, no pun intended in the title, cuz homegirl is NOT old, yet.]

BUT, the Spears getting preggers before they should IS getting old.

The Enquirer is reporting that little Jamie Lynn is having her second child.. and that she is already 8 weeks into the pregnancy. [And of course, this is a TOTALLY credible source...........]

"Zoey" just had her little girl Maddie about 3 months ago.. and she's only 17.. SEVENTEEN!

Okay so who believes this rumor? Personally, not me.

And neither do her neighbors, who are telling OK Magazine that there is NO WAY she is pregnant again.

I still haven't heard anything about an official statement from Mama or Jamie Lynn, though.. so who knows?!

I hope you're not prego, girl. Those kids don't need any more cousins just yet.

mama spears is goin full force

I mentioned yesterday that Mama Spears (aka Lynn Spears) released her little "tell-all" book..

What I didn't mention is that she was also promoting it on The Today Show.. where she says it wasn't written to be a parenting book or a tell-all, but rather a "set it straight."

Hmmm..

Then she tells Meredith that it was never her pushing Britney growing up (which, okay, I mighttt believe that..) but that Britney was pushing her.. Alright fine. But as a parent I think it's the sacrifice you make for your children right? I mean, you support them in what they do, whatever that means..?

What I found rather funny though, and maybe true but that's not the point, is that she couldn't really control her daughter because it was like when other kids go to college. BritBrit was out doin her thing and she didn't know everything that was going on.. just like when kids go to school and their parents can't see everything they're doing.

OK fine.. Mama Spears got me on that..

But THIS is what made me chuckle a little bit--> She said that she has always taken the blame... most especially with Jamie Lynn's prego-ness......................... Did she?!?! Cuzzz, I thought putting your daughters on blast DID make you look bad, but it makes them look terrible, too.. I don't know if that counts as "taking the blame"...

my poor girl

So, today is the release of Britney's mom's tell-all book Through the Storm..

Apparently she talks about how hurt she was when Britney was going through her.... hard times.. if you will.. and that she felt "punched in the stomach" when Jamie Lynn became prego.

On top of it all.. she reveals that BritBrit lost her virginity when she was FOURTEEN! AND!!! She says that my girl started drinking at 13, and doing drugs at 15.

I'm pissed.

I wanna know how a MOTHER can throw her daughter under the bus like that!! ESPECIALLY when she's JUST getting over everything she has gone through. Now you wanna tell the world about all the wrong she has done in her life and how she misled every little girl who always looked up to her? (Okay, maybe a lot of people already gave up on that..)

Britney said recently that the relationship with her mother was good again.. but I can't see it staying so great for very much longer.. Britney is only gonna get hounded even more. I just hope she can still keep it all together. :)

And Ms. Lynn "Mama" Spears.. I'm gonna need you to be a real mother for once in your life. Because apparently, YOU raised your kids. Not anyone else. And now you're throwing THEM out on the curb..
