no more dogs eating homework

If you live, work, or attend school in NYC, you're about to have a new way to excuse your absences or tardies.. The Subway.

And yes, they will be LEGIT excuses, because the system is going to be offering tardy slips, if you will, to those who are late because of malfunctioning, delays, or problems with the trains.

Right now it's being done over the phone, but they're looking to create an online system. [That'd be nice.. Seeing as it is almost 2009 and people tend to stray away from the phone these days..]

Now, I'm just going to need the Metro to do this for all of my DC-ers! And maybe you could find out if/when it was delayed even if you drive.. And use the excuse anyways!

...But don't tell anyone I said to do it!!
