i give up

Maybe this point is going to be pointless, but I have to get it out of my system.

Ever since Thanksgiving night, I have been all over YouTube, Google, EVERYTHING, trying to find a video of Mario Barrett singing the National Anthem at the Philly/Arizona game.. But I give up. I can't find it. He probably had his reps ban it from the Internet because it might ruin his reputation or whatever.

When they said he was singing, I told my whole family that I was excited because he was so good. So they stopped talking, turned up the volume, and listened.

Listened to him get the words wrong, hit completely off pitches, and stop for what seemed like a lifetime before the last word of the song.

It was terrible. I was disappointed, and I'm sure every football player, fan, coach, etc in that stadium, as well as every family around the country was.

Thanks for hurting my credibility when it comes to saying people are good singers, Mario. See if I help you out anymore...
