hollywood has lost a star

Paul Newman died Friday after his long-time battle with cancer. :(

He won TEN Academy Awards in his 6-decade long career.

He ALSO was a professional race car driver..

AND... I know everyone has seen "Newman's Own" dressing etc... yea, that's him.

Everyone in Hollywood and around the world are really mourning his death (obviously..).. here are a couple statements that were issued..

It was just May of last year when he told Good Morning America that he was done with acting... saying "I'm not able to work any more as an actor at the level I would want to. You start to lose your memory, your confidence, your invention. So that's pretty much a closed book for me."

You will certainly be missed, Mr. Newman. But we'll be sure to smile and think of you every time we have a taste of your own dressing or see your movies. :)
